Hi Dave, I'm using the R6 revision and have issues with TOD calculation in P2A. Flight plan is from LSGG to LIPE (LSGG MEDAM UM730 ATMAD M730 TESTO Z963 RIPDU LIPE). P2A chooses the MEDA4N SID and set the TOD between two waypoints of this SID (GG604 and Intercept MEDA4N-HDG-181), but locates it next to a STAR point close to the arrival airport. This makes the SID route going close to Bologna and going back next to Geneva. I sent a screenshot by email. If I change the Climb rate only, the TOD changes and goes closer to the SID, but always outside of the normal path. I found that using some values (Climb Rate 2000), the TOD is on the route, but 15 miles only from …

The airport is MHRO. I noticed I couldn't alter the radio either manually or automatically( clicking the left comm panel) . I suppose there is some setting in the config? To circumvent this but I don't know what it is.8-( There is no problem with 757,767. Anyone any ideas about getting the comms going in the 777. I haven't flown it much. Today was the first time in years.

I have been doing my usual short IFR test flight from EGNT to EGPH in the Realair Duke at 10,000ft, in which P2ATC is working perfectly, except for a tiny anomaly. After take off from EGNT, after a short while I am instructed to contact Newcastle radar director on 125.82, this instruction repeats twice. I then tune to this frequency and call it up as usual, but the instruction repeats , again twice, exactly as before. Actually, I don't remember that particular frequency being listed on the EGNT frequency tab before, but could be mistaken. Hi there, I'm getting a database error since today saying: Unable to initialize Database The underlying provider failed on Open Cannot open Database "D:\PILOT2ATC_2018_X64\DATA\P2ADYNAMICDATA.MDF" requested by the login. The login failed. Login failed for user 'myname' This shows at 10% load, when I press ok it opens the program but then i cannot import a flightplan as I get error saying it in the wrong format. Using simbrief, with latest airac 1812. Any Idea what the problem might be?

When I click the button minimize button to the left of COM1, it moves the P2ATC window off my monitors screens. I have to use the SHIFT+RIGHT_CLICK in the Windows taskbar then select MOVE then use the keyboard LEFT ARROW key until the program starts to slowly wander onto my leftmost monitor where I can then manipulate it with the mouse and resize it to a normal sized screen where I can see it. I have two monitors which may contribute to this). It took a while to figure out what was going on, because I did not know what the button was for and it appeared at first glance to be an option to minimize the program (permanently!). Hi P2A-Team, I just tried the new ATC Setting "Info Acts as Tower" with a new installation of 2.5.0.6_x64_R3 and NavDataPro - AIRAC cycle: 1706. The config switch was checked and connection established, see attached screenshot. I started at EDGS (Siegerland, Germany) and used 120.375 to contact EDGS Info: 1. Hi, Not sure what is causing this, whether it's xplane 11.11 or p2a 2.4.x. I've flown 2 flights now, one from KJFK to KROC, and one from KORD to KDEN. In both cases, i built the flight plan, and it was exported to the xplane fms output directory and i loaded it into the FMS. The initial route line from leaving the airport to the first waypoint has been off a decent amount, compared to what the airplane instruments show. Screenshot is attached for the KORD-KDEN route. Hey Dave - I'm sending a log via Email .. A few odd things about a flight I completed just a few minutes ago.. When I validated/filed my flight plan, I got a message that TOD could not be calculated (this has been happening a lot lately with the newest 2.5.0.5r3 version - in conditions where the calculation should surely be possible - 200+ mile flight, low-altitude, GS target around 150kts). I was still allowed to continue.. The flight plan was filed at 9000 feet, I was never cleared above 7000, less than 74 miles in (still 100+ remaining) I got a descent to 4500 instruction (traveling at 160 kt) After my initial contact with departure, I was immediate…

Just updated my nav data to the latest cycle. The title bar of P2ATC shows the correct cycle, and all the SIDS/STARS/APPS are correct when creating a flight plan. The flight plan validates OK, and when I file it acts like it worked, but when I call for clearance I get "We don't have a flight plan on file". This is version 2.5.0.5_x64_R3. I have re-installed the Navigraph update, it does not appear to be a corrupted file. I am on the last day of my trial, so hopefully I can get the solution ASAP. I see others have reported not receiving a descent from cruise and being way too high for the approach. I have experienced this twice in the last day - it appears that having the sim on fast time (4x in this case) when crossing the TOD point may be a causal factor. When I flew the same flight plan and turned off time acceleration a few miles before the TOD point I was given the descent. As an experiment I turned fast time back on in the descent, and was given all further descents in a timely manner. So, it appears to affect only the initial descent from cruise.

A new quirk keeps popping up and either I am incorrectly using the software or it is a bug in the new version. First, I am accurate on the frequency changes, that was one of my problems last week. I emailed Dave and he pulled my log. There is an altitude descent miss when handing off from center to approach. I am getting the initial altitude descent at the TOD (or approximate to that waypoint) but once with approach, I do not get a descent altitude to the ILS approach required altitude. For example, flying into Kansas City last night (KMCI), KC Center dropped me from 8,000ft to 4,000 feet, I was passed off as usual to KC approach. They vectored me as normal to catch the …

I've noticed for some airports the recommended STAR is none even when its direct from my last waypoint. An example is at Dubai INTL, my imported flight plan ends and the VUTEB waypoint, which has the VUTE3B or VUTE3E stars leading to runway 12R, but Pilot2ATC never recommends this and instead only recommends a straight in approach with no STAR. The first screenshot shows the STAR when i manually input it, the 2nd shows the route after I click File and it loads its recommended procedures. Not sure if this is intended but if it is, is there a way to force P2ATC to always prefer a STAR over no star. I've tried choosing randomise sid's and stars but it still always …

I live near an airport that is identified as EGOD on P2ATC. If I export this code in a flight plan from P2ATC to Xplane it is not recognised. i have updated to AIRAC cycle 1811 from Navigraph in Xplane, P2ATC and LittleNavMap and it still shows as EGOD whereas it should be EGFD. This changed when the airport changed from a military base to a civilian airport. Both Xplane and littleNavmap have the right ICAO but not P2ATC. Can anyone shine some light on this please? It also seems that spelling of the location has been misread as it should be LLANBEDR. This does not affect the flight plans but the code does.

When I select a phrase in SayIt for read back the read back pace is extremely slow. I believe it's coming from x plane maybe? the read back is on my speakers rather than through my head set which I have set up for communications through Pilot2Atc config. I can't find a setting any where to speed up the read back to normal speed. Any help would be appreciated. George

I bought this program from the get go on advice from a friend, and for $60.00 I want more, sorry... so here is the bugs I notice. First I'm running it on a windows 7 computer (64bit) with very little else running. Don't run anything on the P3D computer. When on a flight that is of any length, as in 2 hours, it will die, as in it will no longer do hand off or frequency changes, or anything. If I shut it down, open it back up and reload the flight plan, it will have strange errors on approach. Hi Dave, I was doing a LIMJ-LSGG flight today (LIMJ SID LAGEN DCT NEDED L50 BANKO STAR LSGG) and was assigned the BANK2R STAR for runway 22. The STAR restricts the altitude at GG520 (right after BANKO) to above FL180. P2A asked me to cross BANKO at FL150, so below the resctriction of the next waypoint. Also, several waypoints after this were planned by P2A below the restrictions (like FL080 at SUVEL which has a restriction above FL110). I sent you a screenshot by email and the log file. Dave, Greetings!1 I think P2A is really a great addon. Kudos to you and the dev team!! I am not reporting a bug and know that your plate is full of revisions and enhancements etc. Is adding a flight path vertical profile to the moving maps ( something similar to Little NAVMAPS) in the short term " enhancement" queue? This would visually complement the ATC change in altitudes commands considerably . Just a thought Best regards Hari

hello! My setup have two identical BU0836A cards to control yoke and rudder pedals. When I specify under set PTT particular one (when there is reaction to button pushed) and save. Wrong (first on the list) interface card is used and Pilot2ATC reads switch status from wrong device. When I open config again wrong BU0836A is set after window opens. This was confirmed by pluging off second (first on the list) one. And with just one it works perfectly. version: 2.5.0.5_r3 best regards! pawel

It seems that since I installed the new AIRAC 1808 cycle and executed makerwys to update the airways and doors database I can not file my flight plans, so when I request authorization I receive the message "there is no flight plan filed" I have tried everything, it happens to me with any flight plan. Then it will send you the log file
