Dave, Over the past few days I have had to help a few X-ATC-Chatter customers who have had difficulty getting chatter working in Pilot2ATC. When I looked at the log file I noticed that Pilot2ATC was looking in an invalid path: C:\Pilot2ATC_2018_x64\Sounds\ATC_Chatter\Controllers\Controllers\Clr Notice that the Controllers directory was in there twice. The path to the root folder in the config dialog was correctly set to: C:\Pilot2ATC_2018_x64\Sounds The way I got it working was so simply clear out the root sound path in the Sound config dialog and then restart Pilot2ATC. Is this a known problem? Has anyone else complained about this? …

When using Opus Weather in Pilot2ATC, wind direction is normally 20º less then the direction of wind in the metar. All other information is correct. For example, for NZAA and using Opus in the sim from NOAA servers, I get the following metar in OpusWeather.txt file: NZAA 241930Z AUTO 23017KT 9999 FEW032/// BKN050/// 12/07 Q1012 NOSIG In the sim, ATIS refer that wind is 230 at 17Kts, which is correct. In Pilot2ATC, if Opus Weather is used, wind is 210 at 17Kts, which is 20º less than the correct value. In Pilot2ATC, if NOAA Real Weather is used, wind is 230 at 17Kts, which is correct. Hello, i have a problem with ATIS information when flying south in X-Plane from EDDH Hamburg. On my way to the waypoint TIMEN I get the instruction to change to the center frequency 125.10 for Bremen Radar. 125.10 is also the ATIS frequency for the airport EDHE / Uetersen. Is the problem with X-Plane or P2A? And can I somehow solve the problem myself? Hi Dave, Since I use 2.5.0.5 R2, after pushback in the departure airport (after off course asking for IFR clearance and pushback), Ground is giving me instruction to taxi to the gate I just left. I'm using the command "Ground, [Callsign], ready to taxi". If I then request "Ground, [Callsign], request taxi to runway", the instructions are correct and I can do my flight, but in the destination airport, when I request taxi to the gate, I'm given the instruction to taxi to the gate number I was given in the departure airport. Hi Dave-- Infinite Loop Issue I read the Bug Report from “glider1” which described an Infinite Loop issue similar to my issue and I have updated Pilot2ATC to 2.5.0.4_x64_R3. This did not solve my loop issue. For me, just prior to the first time the loop happened, I heard a brief, unfamiliar sound in my headphones. The sound and then the loop occurred during hand-off to Departure (I took-off from KLNK bound for KOMA). I have not heard the unfamiliar sound again. However, the loop issue continues. Actions I have taken: I ended my flight and closed P2A. I started the flight again with P2A and at the same point, the loop began again. I ended my flig…

Hi everybody. Not sure it is a bug but this is what happened. KJFK to KBOS HAPIE4 SID FL230 STAR ROBUC2 RUNWAY ILS 04R. When I called the tower Delta 486 holding short runway 04R ready for take off IFR release. He said clear for takeoff contact delivery??? After takeoff i did not hear the tower to switch to departure freq. I flew a lot if ILS in real live but maybe I am not using exact words that are expected. I would like to add the attachment but i don't see how to add a new attachment. Only an existing one. Thank you in advance for your help. Andre

Hi there, I'm still on the last few days of my free trial, my issue is my voice will not get through to P2ATC. I'm running xplane 11 on windows 10 home version. So far I have worked through everything I have been able to find in the manual and on the web. I have checked my language pack is set to US English, and downloaded the speech pack. I have my audio card set to primary sound driver and the same in the p2atc config. I have checked the microphone using the "listen to" on sound card setting and can hear my voice. I can speak into the mic and have my PC respond when I say for example "open chrome" it hears me and opens chrome. I have used the grammer help, when…

Hello Dave, Yesterday I encountered my first loop. I was making a short flight from EDDM to EDDN in Germany. I was instructed to contact radar control, which I did. Radar control then started telling me I should contact radar control and again and again...... I disconnected and reconnected again, filed the flight plan and made contact again. So far so good, I was cleared for the approach but never got the instruction to switch to the tower frequency. So I pronounced a established call to the current controller (I was established), then I got the instruction to contact tower. After landing I never got the instruction to contact ground. Hi, I believe that P2A may not be handling flight levels clearances correctly during CPT6C and CPT3B SIDs for EGGW Symptoms: Pilot2ATC is clearing me to FL120 at RODNI, then as I transit pass RODNI towards CPT, it then informs me to expedite a descent back to 5000'! All very confusing, especially when you try to conform to the ATC request as when I then descend I get a expedite climb to FL120! Help! Hi Dave Infinite loop with ATC handing me off to approach from center in an endless loop Sequence of events I was flying a GA IFR into Nelson NZNS in New Zealand from Stratford NZSD. I created a flightplan in P2A and hit Autoplan. P2A added an approach for the flight. I took off from Stratford which is uncontrolled. No frequencies available on the ground so I take off on Multicom freq. Flying from CYWG to KLDH, P2A was acting really weird and ended up in a fatal error loop. First it was trying to vector me off course while climbing, although I has right on course, also P2A showed me that! Then, after reaching the cruise altitude, FL250, GS270 and some 300 nm to go, it suddenly starter to spam me with "unable to calculade TOD" error messages. They kept on coming, and I couldn't do anything else but kill P2A from task manager. Could not take any screenshots because the behaviour was so bad - every new error message window took the window focus out from anything else.

I'm running the latest version of Pilot2ATC (2.5.0.4_x64_R3) and am unable to open the COM frequency change panel when clicking on the standby frequency. This has worked for me in previous 2.5 versions in the past. Steps to reproduce: 1. Launch Pilot2ATC 2. Select "OnTop" button" to keep it visible 3. Launch Sim fullscreen (in my case, X-Plane 11 version 11.21) 4. Startup aircraft (Cessna 172SP for example) 5. Connect Pilot2ATC to Sim with Connect button 6. Trying to create a waypoint from KSFO to KSAN using the route - OFFSH1 MCKEY LAX COMIX2. After loading the OFFSH1 SID the flight plan gets erased from the planning window. If I continue with the planning (even though I can no longer see the waypoints and route on the map) and try to verify the plan, I get the message "Unable to verify an empty flight plan." This happens regardless of departure runway choice.

Hi Dave, I don't know what's going on with the gate and taxiway maintenance window, but i'm having problems working with the taxi points in the editor. The same thing happens to me on any airport i try to modify. I've created 2 videos that show the issues, links are below. The problem happens when i'm selecting points to modify the taxi point type, or delete it. I will select a point, right click and delete it. Then i go select another point, and when i select it, the previous point displays again on the screen, and when i right click on the new point i selected, the delete taxiway point option is grayed out. Hello Dave, I encounter a problem with the 'contact tower trigger point'. Again at EHAM but now at runwat 09. I had this problem some time ago but didn't had the time to report. The trigger point is to far away from the hold short point. I'm using Flytampa EHAM and imported the airport. I had to draw red runway line for 09/27 myself because it was not there. As you can see I added a hold short point at the correct position. But now I have to taxi onto the runway before the trigger to switch to the tower frequency becomes active. Hi Dave, could you check and see if this TOD seems correct for the route. I'm flying EDDH WSN2C WSN UN125 DOBAK EEL1A EHAM. FL340 with a ground spped of 400kts and a descent rate of 1800fpm. I got a TOD of 201 miles. That sure seems like an awfully long way out. Could that be caused by altitude restrictions? Normally, I would think it would be around 130 miles.

I have not purchased P2A yet, but am on my 3rd day of trial. I like it so far, but have a very frustrating thing happening. My local airport shares frequencies. ATIS and ASOS share one. Sometimes I hear ATIS, other times it thinks it is on ASOS. Also Clearance Delivery and Ground share 121.90. I request taxi, and get no response. Switch over to tower, ask for clearance and it tells me ground is 121.90. Switch back to 121.90, and do a general call to ground, and it comes back as Clearance. When it thinks it is on Clearance, it will not respond to taxi request. Any work around for this? Set both radios to the same channel, and toggle?

X-Plane 11.20 Windows 10 March 2018 Update Pilot2ATC 2.5.0.3 x64 I know this is going to sound strange, but I have verified the problem is with Pilot2ATC and can reproduce the issue consistently. 1. Boot up any aircraft in X-Plane that is using the Laminar G1000 (e.g. the Cirrus Vision SF-50). 2. Use the scroll wheel or mouse click region on the COM radio frequency (they should work normally). 3. Start Pilot2ATC and connect to X-Plane. 4. Use the scroll wheel or mouse click region on the COM radio frequency. Down loaded and installed Ver 2.4 x64. No problem with installation ... but pilot2ATC wont connect to X-Plane 11. Re-installed ver 2.4 x64 but it still wont connect. Re installed older version of pilot2atc 2.3xx and it connects and works fine. Re-installed ver 2.4 x64 but it still wont connect. Have the latest version of XPUIPC .... 32/64 bit. This could be my error, so forgive me I am Using : Prepar3D v4 Pilot2Atc2018 v. 2.5.0.3_x64 _R2 Navigraph Airac cycle 1806 Flight plan : (Wheeler Downtown) KMKC ->KCOS( Colo springs) No matter which runway and SID at KMKC i choose, the enroute transition dropdown does not give any choice. Hello, my problem still is that P2A by using Auto Plan in most cases uses a different departure runway than X Plane's KI-planes In many cases the arrival runway is the opposite runway (for example P2A says departure runway 09L, and X Plane uses the arrival runway 27R). No matter which weather source I use. So there are different active runways and I always have to select the active runway and sid manually. Is there a way to syncronise P2A and X Plane?

1-Made two flights, center repeats ad nauseum the descent instruction, program caught in a loop ! 2-P2Atc doesn't use the specific voices I assigned to the different centers ! Especially the ATC Center 1, 2, 3, Approach, Destination Tower...Atis, CoPilot and Ground are ok. Thanks and Regards,
