I have updated to P2ATC 2.6.0.0_x64_R3 and I load up and click Connect and I get no connection green or showing the airplane or com1. I click the connect botton again and I get disconnected from the sim. How can I fix this issue and get to using Pilot2ATC?

Issue: Changing an altitude on a waypoint manually invalidates the flight plan. Validating the flight plan overwrites manual altitudes on waypoints. As an example, doing the FLIPR4 arrival into KMIA, the altitude for FLIPR is either 10000 or 12000. When loading the arrival into Pilot2ATC, the altitude for FLIPR seems to be calculated (for my cruise of FL320, it was set to FL310). If I click the altitude column and change the altitude to 12000, it invalidates my flight plan if already validated or filed. When I click Validate the altitudes are re-calculated and any altitudes I have set manually are overwritten.

Hi Dave Just wanted to report a tower to ground taxi loop on arrival from KFRG to KACY. I checked the airport and taxiways all look ok so I wouldn't expect that to be an issue. After clearing the active runway and requesting taxi I kept being directed to contact between ground and tower. Last comms from Pilot2ATC. Also flight plan information below. hello, Each time pilot2ATC is freezing when i'm asked to contact tower. I change the frequency, and them, nothing happens, and pilot2ATC do not respond anymore. Any idea ? ps: sorry for my English not my natural language.

Hi Dave, I installed version 2.6.0.0_x64_R3 and tried VFR pattern direction setting in TAXI MNT on XP 11.36. Correct settings for EDGS RWY 13 RH pattern, RWY 31 LH pattern according to Jeppesen VFR manual. Pattern direction could be stored and is correctly set after restarting p2a - so it seems to bew stored in the DB correctly. But holding short RWY 13 for departure to remain in pattern, ATC is demanding a LH pattern - so, it seems, that settings are being ignored. Could you please have a look ... all a not too short note ..... though i suspect it needs a navigraph "overdue fix" ...... the altitude restrictions on the various rnav stars have not (as also is the case in the pmdg's) been coded in p2a's airac and which unfortunately one can not "correct" (as you can with the pmdg's). for example, on an ABBEY star, there is a requirement to be at FL130 at MUSEL. interestingly, it is correctly coded in the "xml type" airacs used by many an addon. the glitch makes it "impossible" for p2a to correctly issue a "descend via" arrival from an appropriate TOD & subsequently allow one to follow one's charts for the arrival.

Hi Dave, Running P2ATC on a client PC, it seems that Spad.Next's Remote Joystick Client utility is working fine. I say this because the two joystick buttons configured in Spad.Next on the host PC show up on the utility's UI (PTT Pressed and PTT Released, and the same for the second joystick button). Strangely, I had this working fine not too long ago but now no longer works after the installation of a fresh copy of Windows 10 Pro. When trying to assign the vJoystick under Config-Btns-PTT joystick button-Set-Select joystick button from the dropdown list, I select vJoy Device then press the desired button on my CH Yoke connected to the server PC. Latest version of Pilot2ATC, I get bombarded with "traffic in sight" when landing. Like it clears me to land, then 10 feet above touchdown it says "traffic 1 mile, 4000 feet"! Not sure if this should happen in real life?

Hi All, apologies if this has been asked a million times but couldn't find much on this topic. I'm about to upgrade my PC. New Motherboard, RAM, CPU and remembered that I had read some time ago that there was some software protection linked to the hardware ID of the machine Pilot2ATC was first installed on. A change in this ID will result in an invalid license, Is there a way around this that is if indeed this protection is in place, not too sure. I haven't changed anything just yet so just preempting an issue when I do. Must add I have a valid license, paid for, so not looking for anything other than if I can't do anything myself to avoid the issue what do I need to…

I ijnstalled X-ATC Chatter in Pilot2ATC-program following the video tutorial, but I can not hear the sound of X-ATC. However, I made the following errors when setting up: In the Programm "Pilot2atc/config/P2A/Sounds" register I have an entry "C:\User\ebh\Desktop" According to X-ATC Chatter´s instructions, the line should be blank. May be it is not importend for this problem, but I would like to have this line blank. It is not possibly for me to remove it.

I was doing a couple of flights in south America, where there was no taxiways. So, I got my clearance and taxi instructions, then taxi short of runway and told to contact tower, which I did. I requested a takeoff, but the tower controller told me to contact ground for taxi instructions. Is that a bug to an aircraft having no taxiways, but an apparent tower?!

This is rather curious and the first time I'm encountering it. While doing a flight in FSE from EDUZ to ETSE, I can plan and validate a plan, but cannot file it. I've tried restarting P2ATC, restarting, even reinstalling, but the "file" button remains unresponsive. I'm on AIRAC 1801, and as far as I know this issue hasn't happened on any flights I've previously performed.

Hi there Enjoying P2A a lot now experimenting with more of its many features. Hit a hang of P2A that happens every time (100% repeatable). I do this: Create flightplan starting and ending at the same airport with a couple of waypoints File the plan. P2A correctly assigns SIDS and STARS Fly the course but after the first waypoint say "center, XXX request clearance direct to YYY" P2A correctly vectors me for the same approach it already assigned me when filed and I don't have to fly the rest of the course P2A hands me to tower I report inbound to tower and tower handles the report correctly When established I re…

When I report established on final for rwy # ATC tells me, "read back correct, contact tower ......." I tried to use the say it button by selecting manually the established on final text and it's the same.

I've been seeing this for a while and just discovered how to reproduce it faithfully. The following screenshot tells the story. If I request a taxi to a runway that DOES NOT involve me having to cross another active runway, everything works just fine. For example, taxiing to the GA runway 10, the instruction is correctly: R, J, K, hold short 10. All is well. But, if my request is a taxi to runway 04 (the main runway used by heavies), I have to first cross the GA active runway (10) in order to get to 04. Here's where the trouble starts. I am struggling with a couple of issues. First, when I tune ATIS, xchatter is interrupting the report. I can't figure this out. Second, I can't seem to get the min/max delay settings such that there is sufficient quite to interact with ATC. I have tried all sorts of settings. Currently I have min set to 80 and max to 90 but chatter continues to come in within seconds (sometimes 5 seconds)! The odd thing is the frequency of the chatter plays seems to speed up over time. At first, it seems that it's obeying the 80 second delay but in just a few minutes, they get faster and faster. Before long, I'm getting chatter withing just a few seconds. I can't …

Version 6 Flew route LIRP to LEGE. Was Vectored in for landing. ATC ordered a Right Turn. The actual bearing was correct, BUT, required a LEFT turn. Was not a problem but is this a bug? Also, sometimes get Squawk code 1200 on departure. Then after next ATC communication am given the "Real" code. Otherwise all seems well.

Flew KDCA to KJFK. After landing at 13L, I requested taxi to the ground frequency that was given me after landing. Ground told me to contact Tower, then Tower told me to contact ground. I tried different ground frequencies. No joy.

I receive the message "flight plan does not originate at this airport" when trying to file an XP11 flight plan from KWAL. I have received taxi instructions at this airport, but I am unable to file a flight plan to depart for the trip back. I am using the latest KWAL version from the scenery gateway.

Hi Dave. I am unable to open the comms (radios) popup window. When I click on the Standby freq it does try to display; I can see a miniature of it among the Windows taskbar thumbnails but the popup itself never appears. I am using the latest P2ATC (2600r3) with the latest X-Plane 11.34. I have tried it with different aircraft, complex and simple but no dice. All other popup windows seem to work fine, it’s very strange! Just a couple of requests: Please add the ability to scan all X-Plane airports at once in Taxiway Maintenance as an XP version of Makerwys has been around for a while now. I've experienced a couple of problems trying to create new runways for CEN4, a Canadian airport from one of Orbx free airports scenery packs. After importing the runways using the Import Scenery tab two runways appeared as seen below, except that the runways were not aligned with the satellite image. I moved the runways so they appear as seen. The first problem I have is that I cannot determine how to get the runways to appear under the Runways tab. The second problem is that I cannot save changes using the "Save Changes" button or close this window. Trying to do either produces the following prompt. This makes it impossible to back out of …

KPDX, QW787. Assigned clearence delivery freq 120.12. P2ATC radio tunes to 120.125 (which is the correct frequency). As the assigned freq is 120.12, not 120.125, when I ask for clearance on 120.125 I'm told to tune to 120.12, which I can't do, so I can't get a clearance.

This happened to me twice, so I figured I'd report it. I took off VFR from Van Nuys KVNY and was just flying around looking at scenery. Flight plane was VFR, KVNY to KVNY letting P2ATC auto plan. I decided to head up to Santa Barbera and try the ILS approach. Asked for a clearance direct to KSBA and received it going north out over the ocean, west of SBA. Once switched to SBA approach I asked for radar vectors to the ILS 07. Was vectored towards the ILS and directed to descend to 3k. Once I intercepted the approach, I turned 076 and called established on approach. No response, then a few seconds later I was directed to turn left to 040. At 3k this flew me into a mountain …

HI Dave. Been a while. Just wondering, since the XPlane11.3 run ( currently on 11.33 ) the comm switching seems to be...... kinda broken? I'm not really sure what's changed. I fly the FF767 and P2A used to boot up and follow the radio config I had set up. If I had VHF L Mic Selector selected P2A would display Com1. When I selected VHF R, P2A would switch to Com2. Since 11.3 P2A now boots up on Com2 and seems locked there. The frequencies follow the aircraft but the displayed Com channel doesn't follow the aircraft radio selectors anymore. If I want to have Com1 on P2A I have to go to Config and reverse com channels. If I press the Com1 button on P2A it switches immed…
