Don't know if this is because of bad Nav/airport data, but today I landed on Runway 5 in EHGG (according to flight plan, and cleared by ATC), and was told after touchdown that I might have landed on the wrong runway. When I restart P2A mid flight (I need to do this due to loss of voice recognition), then press the connect button, I get this message (latest version release & with MSFS). It still tracks me but the plane icon on the moving map is not displayed. i have just tried to use the language trainer when i click on train in full training or personal grammer training the microsoft speech recognition trainer dose not start like the manual says i am running windows 10 on the latest version how can i fix this?

Today I did a flight from LFBD to EDJA: My filed cruise altitude was FL430, and I got initially cleared for 4000, then 15000, then FL250. When I reached FL240 (this was before SAU) I was expecting to get the next clearance, but it never came... As you can see there were no waypoint / SID / airway altitude restrictions whatsoever. I tried to manually request my cruise altitude several times, but got not reply from ATC at all. And when I started to climb on my own I quickly got yelled at to descend back to FL250 again. Hello On approach to Tenerife South, Pilot2ATC gets a little confused. The approach leads the first time over the airport from TERFE to TFS, then follows a left turn of 180 degrees, one flies back again parallel to the airport, to then perform the final approach with a left turn again. Already during the first flight over the airport, all clearances for landing are given, although one is not yet landing. Is it possible that Pilot2ATC recognizes that you are not landing yet ? Hi, Impossible to get NOAA weather in pilot2atc even with 2.6.2.0. Recentmetar.xml still blank whatever I try. I even tried to put metar from X-Plane and to set the mode on sim weather with right folder. Nothing : "Weather not available". Any Idea ? What should be the XML format of recentmetar.xml ? Hi, Just finished my 10 day trial of P2A in X-plane 11. I'd love to buy it but it has proven too unstable on my system. When it works it's great but I'm quite sure I haven't made it through a single flight without it freezing up on me. Requiring me to shut it down. Freezing is the main problem, but sometimes, although it hears me there is no audible response. Sometimes it disrupts the sound in the sim itself. With task manager running I can see there seems to be no CPU or RAM issues with both apps running (I have 16GB RAM). I'm on Windows 8. I'm having a fairly consistent (but not universal) issue with ATC holding off giving me reasonable descents, and instead waiting until I have to descend at 4-5k'/minute (or sometimes more) to reach the runway at the appropriate time. Just last night, I was flying into Key West, and it kept me at FL190 (despite many requests for a lower altitude) until it issued the final approach clearance literally already within visual range of the airport. I made it by cutting the throttle to zero, full spoiler extension, extending my gear way too fast, and eventually having to take over from the AP to "safely" make the runway, but I was falling like a rock to get there. Hi, I’ve flown the EIDW to EGPH using the ROTEV 6E SID on several occasions. During clearance and take off I’m approved to an altitude about FL100. However, shortly after takeoff I’m issued FL070. As I approach FL070 I am cleared to a FL150 (or sometimes higher). I am then asked to switch frequencies when I’m usually approaching FL130. I receive a radar contact message and then shortly after I’m given a lower FL than the previous one - sometimes this is lower than my current FL - I then have to request my cruise altitude to prevent me being told off for being too high. When I try to get the weather I get message "Weather is not available for this airport". All other features work fine. I am using registered FSUIPC7. P2Atc works fine in P3D. Pramod

I'm new to Pilot2ATC and it works great unless I'm using the A320 in MSFS. Every time MSFS shuts down. The reason I believe P2A is the issue is I can run the A320 without a problem if I'm not running P2A. Nothing in particular is happening when it shuts down and it shuts down at completely random times (can be the beginning or towards the end of a flight), but it does shut down every time. No issues with other planes that I've discovered. Is this a known thing or is it just me (being the word not allowed magnet that I am).

For certain airports the Active Sky current_wx_snapshot,txt is not being read correctly. One offending airport is RJTF. A quick look at the snapshot I found when "BKN///" is in the airport METAR, it is not read correctly. Looking through the snapshot and testing a few other airports containing the "BKN///" phrase seem to have the same problem. I have included the lines from an offending snapshot below. The airports that have trouble are RJOO,RJSC,RJSN,RJSS,RJTF and RJTT. Airbus 350 in X-Plane 11.50. Flight from Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia; WMKK) to Nadi (Fidji; NFFN). Initial altitude FL350. About half way, ask for FL370. Controller replies "Unable", this altitude is TOO LOW for my route and instead clears me to FL590! I check the speech to text and my request was correct. I request FL390, hoping that this request would trigger something, to no avail. I say "Unable FL590", and still no joy. For the last half-hour, the controller has been repeating "[Call Sign] climb and maintain FL590" and then "Expedite climb to FL590". I know for a fact that NO airliner is able to fly at FL590; even a Concorde, most of the time, could not make it to that alt…

Following updating to the most recent version (setupP2A_2505_x64_R3_with_NavDataPro_1706) for X-Plane 11 I've been unable to start the program. I keep getting the following error: "Multiple Instances of Pilot2ATC Error - Another instance of Pilot2ATC already running. Shut it down before attempting to open a new instance." No evidence of another P2ATC running in Task Manager (Win 10). Uninstalled, reboot, reinstalled reboot, keep getting same error. HELP please - BTW - GREAT program!

I've now encountered several flight where, immediately after taking off, I get lots of continuous traffic alerts (sometimes lasting a minute or so) for AI traffic although there is no AI flying anywhere around me for miles. I suspect P2ATC is mistakenly identifying the parked ground AI in this case, and I also suspect that it might not be P2ATC's fault but MSFS reporting wrong data via SimConnect / FSUIPC, just wondering if anyone has seen this too...

Hi, P2A version: 2.6.20 Ram: 32GB FSM 2020 is CTD when P2A is open and It happens a bit randomly. There is no CTD when P2A is closed. So there is something going wrong with P2A usage... What can I provide to further troubleshoot this ?

Dave, This may not be considered a bug but at least I thought it deserved a warning. If you run P2A full screen and on top, you should not try to print the flight plan. If you do, the print preview will pop up under P2A and you will be stuck. You will not be able to do anything with P2A because it is waiting for action on the preview and you will not be able to get to the preview to do anything with it. A reboot will be required.. Tom

Hello all, I have a problem with changing the frequencies when I startup a plane 'cold and dark' in MS2020. The frequency goes from ATIS to GROUND immediately after connection with MS2020! This can no longer be changed, neither from the cockpit nor from Pilot2ATC. In the CONFIG the Master Battery and Avionics switches are on If I boot from the RUNWAY everything works correctly. Does anyone know what could be going on here? Do I have a setting wrong?

Hi Dave, I've just installed Pilot2ATC and everything is working as I would expect, but the speech recognition could do with a bit more training. I tried the process described in pages 66-67 of the manual, but clicking the "train" button does nothing. I do see that the current version has some more options than the manual, I have tried each one. I've gone through 2.5, 2.5.0.1 and just now 2.5.0.2 with the same effect. I have done the 2 standard windows speech training sessions and in those cases the "Welcome to speech recognition voice training" window popped up and the following traingin windows did their usual thing of working through the phrases. Hi, It's not a bug but I wanted to know why it takes 30 seconds for the program to start up. What is the technical reason behind it? Same for connecting to the sim (fsm 2020) It is a bit slow compared to other programs like pushback express, navigraph... Thank you

Edit: Sorry Dave, I posted this question in the wrong board, was in the Bug Report forum without noticing... I found that when I have a flight plan loaded and want to check the weather for the departure / arrival airport (before connecting to the Sim), I often get outdated ATIS info from several hours earlier, and it refreshes when I connect to MSFS. Is this how it's supposed to work, and if so, would it be possible to not require to first connect? My workflow is to first create a flightplan in LNM, import it into P2A, select the SID / STAR / approach and then export the flight plan (including all waypoints) to a MSFS plan that I can load in the sim.
