Hello, hope, that somebody could help me out with my Problem. I want to set a Light Potentiometer in the A32NX from FBW. So, i identified this indexed Variable as an Example. Glareshield Integral Lights LIGHT POTENTIOMETER:84 0..100R/WMSFS VAR Could someone please give a Hint, how to code this in a LUA Script? I tried it this Way ipc.writeLvar(("L:LIGHT_POTENTIOMETER_SET:84"), 100) But it didn't work. Any Help is highly appreciated Thanks a Lot in Advance. Joachim

I recently bought Pilot2atc, I'm ok up until i've took off, I reach the assigned altitude set by the controller but then I don't receive a higher altitude ?

With the latest beta 1b the ATC volume keeps going back to a low setting meaning you have to keep increasing the volume to hear anything, I remember this happened with an earlier version and was fixed! EDIT : I have been messing about with the settings looking for a fix and discovered what seems to be the problem! When you click on the speech tab the "speech recognized tone" volume was set at 1, I changed it to 100 and all is working fine now!

Is there a bug with the Public Beta versions of P2A regarding the Chatter Tracker? Recently my ATC background chat has started to sound all too familiar, despite the chatter folder structure being fully populated with hundreds of files for each country/airport. It would appear that the files always start playing in sequence from the beginning alphabetically, rather than from where they finished playing on the previous occasion any particular folder was in use. I have tried deleting the ChatterTracker.xml file so as to let it regenerate, but the issue remains. I think this started for me when I installed Public Beta 2d a couple of weeks ago, and has persisted into Beta…

I am flying the Cessna Citation Longitude in FS2020 which has a service ceiling of FL450 but ATC are asking me to climb to FL470 (after cruising at FL450 for many miles) before starting my descent, anybody else experiencing this problem? I am using Beta 2e but this has happened with earlier versions also!

I filed the NDB approach to RWY36 / GCLA in my flight plan, weather stayed the same when I got close, and P2A prepared me for the approach with "Continue descent via the LARY One Alpha arrival. for the NDB approach to runway Three Six ALPINE AIR Three Two Seven" But when I received the first vectors "Turn right heading 356..." I knew something was wrong, and when I looked at the map it was obvious P2A was trying to vector me to the opposite runway: Here's the approach plate: Not a big deal, but I thought I'd mention it in case this can be fixed... Hello again! I just had a quick question. It used to be that in xplane, in the "create flight menu", i would have to manually select up to 19 traffic global AI aircraft for p2a to "see and react to them" . Im flying right now and i believe i forgot to set the AI aircraft, but p2a DOES see them. is this new ?

I have a cereproc voice that I had previously installed in P2ATC, but was having problems. I had trouble understanding the voice, and strangely enough, I had constant problems with ATC understanding me when this voice was active. I deleted it from my P2A voice list, but it continues to show up. Just now, it popped on as a ground controller, and wouldn't go away even after I forced ground to another voice in settings. I'd hate to have to re-install P2A and setup all my voices again, is there a file somewhere that I could manually edit out this rogue voice? It's Cereproc Susan Southern Black English if that helps.

Hello again Dave 😄 So im trying out the beta versions , im currently public beta 2c..... one of the issues im having is that p2ATC runs very sluggish. i have to wait a lot for changed to occur, like loading a flight plan, or opening the departure / arrival or other windows. "not responding" is the message i get, if i wait long enough , it reacts again, but it takes a while. this does not happen as much in the NON beta version... it happens, but not as terrible, not to the point where i get the "not responding" message. Hi Dave i did a flight today from EGCN to EGCC i could request the IFR clearance and get the response i then used the copilot to repeat back atc then gave me the barrow and to tell them when i am ready to taxi again copilot responds when i say i am ready to taxi i get no response i used say it and still no response i all so asked for a radio check using say it and still no response i restarted P2A 3 times and got the same result every time all with different voices i have emailed all 3 logs to you i am on version 2.6.2.3_x64_r2 and Navigraph AIRAC cycle 2112

I tried to use the copilot options today to respond to the radios and change the frequencies but despite having the 2 options ticked on the speech tab it isn't working! I switched back to version 2.6.2.3_x64_R2 and its working fine again, anybody else having the same problem with Public Beta2a?

After updating to 2.6.2.4 there is no voice output to the headphone although i am able to hear the sounds from x-plane. P2A can hear and understand me and the response to my requests are appearing in the text window, but no sound at all. Any ideas? Log attached. I had the quiet responses issue that others have posted about when using the beta. For me, the problem seems to be that I enabled the "Speech Recognized Tone" option and it had a volume of 1. The output volume is set to 1 whenever speech is recognized and the tone played, and it is not set back to the previous volume. The volume will be set to whatever value I put in the config, not just 1. I'm using windows 11. I haven't gone back to the official release to see if it happens there. I don't think I had the tone enabled there. Mike

About half the time I launch Pilot2ATC the Speech Assistant Drop Downs are empty. If I relaunch a couple times all of the categories come back. Any idea what could be causing this?

Never run into this before. Started a new flight today. Filed flight plan from PANC to UHMM. ATC wont respond to my requests for clearance. One thing that might be related is that some of the frequencies Pilot2ATC is listing in its INFO page dont match what X-Plane has listed. Lately I'm quite often running into case where P2A gives me very odd taxi instructions, as if it was directing me to the opposite end of the runway of my flight plan for, e.g. PHNL In the above P2A said it was giving me directions to 08L but was actually routing me to 26R: ATC Speak: ALPINE AIR Three Two Seven Taxi to Runway Zero Eight Left Via taxiways Zulu, Echo, Charlie, Hold Short Runway Zero Eight Left18:35:29 As far as I can see in Taxi Maintenance, the other taxiways going to 08L are well defined and fine. I ran into the following when trying to select either VNS1 or VNS2 transitions for the ILS approach to Rwy27 in ENVA : When I select either one of those then it takes P2A around 30 second to 'think' until it draws the above on the map. The other transitions for this approach are loading and displaying fine. I'm aware this could very well be a Navigraph data issue, and really no big deal since it was an isolated case, just thought I'd report it in case there's an underlying issue in P2A that could cause this with other approaches as well. Hello, I'm getting the following database error on startup. After searching here I found another user with a similar issue a few years back and the suggestion was to restart the computer and reinstall the Navigraph data which I have done but the issue persists. Using version 2.6.2.3 R2. Thanks

Very often I get this silly ... descent to one thousand feet... on initial approach, any way it can be fixed. Unless there is some settings I have set wrong. In addition would it be possible to somehow show the text in for of numbers and single letters preferably capital letter when taxi instructions are issued? Hi, When using MSFS 2020 with Pilot2ATC, I'm unable to set any frequency on either com radio while running Pilot2atc. I can't even swap between frequencies. When I start Pilot2atc, connect to sim, validate and file, I have to swap from the atis to clearance delivery via the Pilot2atc program.. Even though I try to enter the frequency into my jetmax USB comm, then swap, Pilot2atc changes it back to the atis frequency. The frequencies are displayed properly on the Jetmax comm radio. I have all assist options set to Off. When flying with P3Dv4.5, I'm able to set any frequency and go back to the active frequency with no problem. Any ideas? Thanks, Geor…

I ran across a thread in this forum where someone developed a PTT utility that I assume uses FSUIPC across a network. The article mentioned it was available on XPlane.org file library. I assume that since it uses FSUIPC, that it is also compatible with FSX-SE?? Or is there a version especially for FSX-SE? If so, can you please provide a link, if the version of the PTT utility is different from the version on the XPlane.org file library. Much appreciated!

Hi Dave just did a flight between LEST - ENZV at the beginning of the flight i was getting swapped between controllers 127.2 and 124.72 they kept telling me to change frequency as i got changed to other controllers the same thing happened but not as much this time they where on 118.77 and 118.47 the other problem i had was the approach p2a is updated with the latest navi graph so is mf2020 navigraph and fs2020 sees it like this but p2a was seeing all the ZV waypoints where missing is this a bug? i have sent the log to your email

I have the latest navigraph airac 2010 installed in P2A. However, when I load the simbrief route for EGLL to EGLL the SID flight plan is via WOBUN and not UMLAT. There is no mention if UMLAT in the SID dropdown menu and, if an attempt to load it manually, it says it's not in the database. Am I doing something wrong?
