just tried a quick vfr flight to day from EGNT Newcastle to EGFQ Charterhall airfield i have checked and both are in the mnttaxi i just added them both as way points in p2a as its a short flight i could verify the flight but it would not let me file it Log File i am running version 2.6.23_x64 and Navigraph cycle 2105

Posting this here since I'm running the beta to address an unrelated problem (just in case this is something in the beta) Is Pilot2ATC changing the METAR wind heading data from true to magnetic north when it displays weather info? I ask because I'm using ASXP and while the speed is correct, the wind direction is not. What it is showing is not exactly adjusted to magnetic north but close enough that could just be a difference between two different formulas used to calculate it. I have bought voice packs from Ivona and cerevoice and it seems pilotatc does recognize the voices when Press test however when I select use random voices and display random voice assignments.. for example: Chenex two seven one contact Barcelona Control...... VoiceAssigned BARCE Ctrl 119.45 IVONA Brian But all seem to hear is the Microsoft Default David? Not sure what I am doing wrong Thanks Jamie

Last week suddenly the Sat map timed out, I ugraded to the latest version but no improvement. I run the program for more then over a year without issues, and I always use the Sat map. Other maps are ok, could it be a windows problem after updating , I do not know.

I sometimes find that the callsign/registration of AI planes contains garbage characters: Could this be a UTF8 issue? Also, I'd like to make two feature suggestions: - depending on the current map background, it's sometimes really hard to read the text. Would it be possible to make the color configurable? - if there are a few AI airplanes in close proximity it's almost impossible to read anything. It would be great if there was a 'compact mode' for the info that would only display maybe the callsign and the altitude (those are the ones that really matter) Thanks! Dirk

Hi Dave P2ATC is not reading Metar.rwx file in X-P11 - ATIS reports "...weather not available for XXX". In X-P11 Metar.rwx shows: "FALA 221400Z 28007KT 240V310 CAVOK 24/07 Q1024" which I confirmed with the AVIA Weather APP. P2ATC RecentMetar.xml file remains empty. What's gone wrong? Regards Rob D

Good day, This is probably something that I am doing wrong however I could use help in figuring it out. I fly on X-Plane 11 and I have had this issue on pretty much all of the airplanes that I fly. Typically, I prefer to fly with the Co-Pilot Options checked (Responds... and Changes freq...) as a matter of habit and of course, choice. My problem is that these two settings continuously deactivate by themselves if I happen to perform a communication during the flight (weather check, altimeter check, holding at runway during taxi, ready for departure...). If I don't think of resetting them, I typically get in trouble 😱. Is this something that you have …

with the latest update to pilot2atc i am having a problem where the program stops responding i could have just received some instructions i will repeat the instructions back and there will be no response so i use the copilot to respond they will repeat the instructions back but atc stops responding i have tried asking other things with say it like radio check i again here the copilot say radio check but no response form act this only seams to have started with the latest update if i try and disconnect from the sim p2s crashes with not responding and has to be shut down with task manager when i updated p2a i also updated the FSUIPC7 at the same…

Hello, I am a Pilot2Atc user with Flight Simulator 2020. I love this software, it has made me a lot of progress in my learning. However, I have a problem. When I contact the Atis or when ATC gives me the QNH, the value is never exact! The QNH announced by Pilot2Atc always returns a higher altitude (about 300ft) than the QNH of FS2020 ( for example, when I press on "B" to automatically set the altimeter, the altidue is never the same as advertised. in Pilot2ATC). Is there something that I didn't understand? Sorry in advance for the syntax errors, I am French and my English is not perfect !

Starting a few days ago, I've had difficulty launching Pilot2ATC. I will get a brief flash that looks like it might be the small splash screen, but then nothing. It can take 4 or 5 attempts before it opens, but once the program is open it seems fine. Once after closing the program and trying to restart it, I got the message that the program was already open, but it wasn't in the tray, and Task Manager didn't show it as an open application. I'm using v. 2.6.2.2_x64_R3b. I tried reinstalling, and at first it seemed to reliably open on the first attempt, but then the problem came back. Hello, Suddenly I am unable to file any flight plans. When I click on the "File" button, nothing happens. Pilot2ATC doesn't crash or anything, it won't just do anything. I am sending you the log file and the plans I have used. I sincerely have no idea what happened, thank you.

I am using x-plane 11.53 with traffic global, alongside latest version of P2ATC. I have also installed the XPLink plugin via the P2ATC menu. However, when I load into the sim, with traffic flying all around, taxiing, parking, etc, via Traffic Global, they do not appear on my map in P2ATC. I have clicked the red aircraft/blue aircraft to show air/ground traffic respectively, and even waiting multiple hours as the flight progresses, I get 0 indication of traffic from P2ATC, although they appear in TG radar and I can visually see them in the skies. If I set up an extremely basic A-B VFR flight plan in P2ATC and then attempt to import it into FS2020, it will fail because the XML is <RouteType> Direct </RouteType> instead of this <RouteType>Direct</RouteType>

Hi Dave, I found the following 'stray' waypoint when setting up the ILS 22 approach to EGSS with the ABBOT transition: Initially I suspected it to be an issue with the Navigraph data, as I did see the same exact thing with both the CJ4 as well as the Pilot2ATC flight plan (both using Navigraph). So I reported this to Navigraph, and Richard told me that this is actually not a Navigraph issue, but both CJ4 and P2A are interpreting the data wrong - using 265 degrees for the BKY radial instead of 85 (although I think this is indeed true for the CJ4, it seems to me it's a bit different in the P2A case since that waypoint is still on the right side of the…

Just downloaded the version above and tried to start the app. It asks for an activation key - (which I found!!) but the activation dialogue states that this is on a different machine. In fact it is the same machine. The older version I used worked fine. When installing the 2.6.2.2R3B version the documentation, the EULA and the wav files all hung up the installer. I moved the older versions, clicked on retry, and the installer continued and finished installing. As I said above, however, the program won't activate. I still have the 2.6.2.2r3b zip file, so I can easily re-install, but I'd like to know how to do it properly so that I can use the program.

I‘m currently running P2A with x-plane and Traffic Global, wich almost works perfect, but a little problem occurred concerning the red AI Aircraft. Seems like the red AI are now somewhat the „initial aircraft“ that are placed on the map in P2A (they are not visible in the sim). Then the blue ones fly away from those steady red ones. It also seems, that new red planes occurre in that moment, where a blue one leaves the ground on take off. I'm on the latest version of P2A with the latest update of MSFS2020. I was flying the JF Piper into KPWM. On approach to the runway, I was told "Go around, traffic on the runway." Okay, cool. I did as I was told. Great immersion as it's busy there today. I did my go around in the pattern, then told to report on downwind. I did so, was told I was number 2 for landing and I was cleared to land. I got established back on final, then told "Go around, traffic on runway". Immediately after, "Cleared to land", and then again immediately, "Go around, traffic on runway". I didn't see any traffic on the runway so I ignored ATC and landed anyway. When I fly with metric altitudes, ATC won't update with further climb clearances when I reach the cleared altitude. E.g. today flying in China (and trying to be realistic, using metric altitudes) I was cleared to 3620m (or so) from takeoff. When I reached that altitude, I did not get any further clearance. This happened to me all three times I tried flying with metric altitudes so far. Switching back to hybrid, ATC immediately clears a new altitude, so it definitely is about the metric setting.

Hello Dave, I have an activation problem. The message box says P2ATC is on another machine, but nothing has changed here apart from the update. The PC has not changed.
