before purchasing I would like to know if I could use the program just for the flight planning, info etc. In other words, do I have to use the ATC part of it?

I have been running Pilot2ATC on a networked machine with P3Dv4.4 about 5 weeks and everything was working fine. Both machines are still on Windows 7, but also work fine. Several days ago a sound problem arose, which I can't fix. I am using Bluetooth headphones. I check the Windows control panel and sounds work fine on my headphones, as does the microphone (2.4 ghz). When I start the P2ATC program, sometimes (but not always) there are no sounds--no voices, no sound effects (such as button pushes)--nothing. Hi Dave, I am encountering an issue that isn't repeatable on every flight although when it occurs it renders P2A unusable for the rest of the flight. When approaching runway hold before takeoff I request clearance and get told by the tower to hold short - traffic on final (which there is) my co pilot reads the instruction back to tower and tower repeats the instruction, then my co pilot reads back - tower asks again and so on....they get stuck in a loop. I can only stop this by disconnecting. Sorry if this has been mentioned before but was wondering is there something I'm missing or something I'm doing incorrectly? I am using P2ATC with P3Dv5, and all seems fine except for some reason occasionally the copilot will not tune the radio to the same frequency as spoken by the ATC. It is almost as if the copilot is slightly deaf and doesn't hear the instruction correctly. For example the instruction may be to tune to frequency 118.47 and the copilot will actually tune to 118.07. It only happens rarely and I now check the tuning is correct, whenever an instruction is given, I think the read back of the instruction is correct...it is just the frequency change is not implemented correctly, every time. I twice attempted to file a flightplan VHHH-ZBAD. First all looked normal. Including Sid/Star. Upon pressing the "file" button crash to desktop with no error-message. It might be a coincidence, but the crash only appears when destination is "ZBAD", the new opened Airport in Beijing. Another flight VHHH-RCTP went fine.

Hi, I am using X plane 11 (beta 6-latest). I use Traffic Global plugin for the ground traffic. After connecting with x plane 11. On the pilot2ATC map no ground traffic is visible and no ATC interaction with the ground traffic. How to get AI traffic connected to it (I mean with ground traffic). Thanks in advance.

I have install V2.6.1.1 R3 with both navigraphs and nothing happend i can not get the sql networking going porperly, i've done everything i saw i other posts but it's imposible. I leave the error message: Unable to initialize Database - The underlying provider failed to open. A network related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections.

Hi Dave, I hope you are doing well. Here is the end of my current FPL: MEN then LFCK airport LFCK has runways 14/32. Runway 14 has several approach including ILS, but 32 has no defined approach in the database. I have a strong wind from 290° so I need runway 32 for a safe landing. Then I try to force runway 32 using "APPR" dialog where I check "Force Arr Rwy", select Runway 32 in the droplist and click the button "Set Rwy" but without success. Hello Dave, During descent when the STAR contains some speed restrictions, the announce "Slow to xxx knots or less" comes a long time before reaching the restricted waypoint. It happens to me whatever the STAR or dest airport used. Version 2.6.1.1 R3 Thanks!

I've deleted the ldf files. I've rerun the updater. I've rerun the full installer. Always the same error. Currently on the trial peroid. Going to uninstall and try all over but is there a less dramatic way to fix this if it happens again?

Hi, My cockpit consists of four screens: one 2k monitor used for X-Plane (screen 1), two 11” touch screens for a G1000 emulation (screens 2 and 3) and one regular monitor for Pilot2ATC (screen 4). My intention was, that Pilot2ATC would be displayed on screen 4, but it doesn’t stick to that. I know that this issue has been brought up before, but I haven’t found a solution, so far. Is there one? Hi, I have downloaded Pilot2ATC v 2.6.1.1R3. My settings are Force Pilot Runway Selection = ON. Imported a flightplan from EKCH to ENGM with departure runway 30 at EKCH. I am new to Pilot2ATC and it could be I made a mistake. However a bug is possible too: My flight from EHAM to EGAC started (after push-back and engine start) with taxi instructions. See image. The intended RWY is 18L. The instructions direct me to 18L (in text), but the actual RWY I am directed to is the opposite end RW36R. I started fresh a second time, but again I was directed to the opposite end of the intended RWY while the taxi clearance clearly states 18L. Did I make a mistake? Thank you for a reply.

Hi, Pauses between charter does not seem to work... when unclick, i hear charter files one after the other one... but when i click pause between files, and enter 5 sec for min and 10 sec for max (tried with different values), no more charter... thanks

I've noticed on a couple of occasions, and this time I took a screen shot, that there are duplicate frequencies at airports in the same area, often on the Tower frequency, and when it happens, it obviously favours one over the other, and it's not normally the airport I need. For example, I've just completed a flight from EGFF to EGHI. When I tried to tune the EGHI tower on 118.20 it gave me EGHH tower instead. I hadn't noticed this and wondered why Tower directed me to land on rw 08 when there isn't one at EGHI, and I couldn't override it either. Hi Dave, everything works fine from EDDH to EDDK. I already entered the arrival data into my fmc in before hand. TOD of FMC was before P2ATC, so I asked for "enroute descent". But after this, P2ATC seems to forgot me half way. No instructions for arrival, no cleared to land, etc. Switch to tower was there, but nothing more. Hello, I flew from Porto (LPPR) this weekend. I noticed that I could not adjust the ground for pushback and taxi because there is no frequency. Tower and Approach is available. Is it possible to add a missing frequency ? Greetings Andreas

Hi, I just wanted to import taxiways and gates for EDDF (Payware X-Plane) in P2A, but it says something like can not find scenery... Works fine for EDDH (also Payware Scenery). Without importing, taxiways are really weird. Any idea, what could cause this issue? XP 11.20 / Windows 10 64bit Cheers, Michael

When I try to load it, it just crashed outright do to an SQL error. If it restart SGLLOCALDB service before starting the program it will eventually load but will take forever. Once I try to click connect the program will hang then eventually hard crash do to another SQL related error. I am not using a seperate PC for this, its on the same system as the sim (XP11). Fresh up to date installs of both. Any help figuring this out? Thanks.

Hello, yesterday I flew from Bangkok to Phuket. I imported the flight route from Simbrief and added the SID, STAR and Approach ( P2ATC_VTBS-VTSP_Step1 ). "Validate" pressed, everything ok. Then " File " pressed and the STAR is gone ( P2ATC_VTBS-VTSP_Step2 ). Did I make a mistake ? I noticed this behavior occasionally with other flights already. I have just loaded a .vbf file for a flight plan I created yesterday. The plan appeared correctly in P2A and I then validated it successfully but when I filed it I received the error message "A new guard page for the stack cannot be created" and P2A closed.
