Hi Dave, I started having this the other day after activating the Taxi button." Pilot2atc 2018.exe - bad image c:\windows\system32\wmasf.dll is not designed to run on windows either or has an error. " Besides throwing the message the only issue I see with p2atc is drawing taxiway path to designated rnwy for takeoff can be intermittent ,sometimes fails. Can you point me in the right direction on this.

I've had several CTD's randomly when using the live multiplayer option in FS2020. Once I turned off multiplayer I had zero issues with CTD. Is this a bug or is it me? If I'm posting in the wrong place I will remove your and go to the bug forum. Thank you!

Generated flight plan had a leg that stretched past South Africa into the Indian Ocean. Investigation identified the BRDR7 SID as the culprit. 3- Screenshot of Pilot2ATC after the problem occurred. If a CTD you can recreate, then a screenshot right before it occurred.

Hi, When I change the altitude at a waypoint, it seems to use below instead of above to verify if the entered altitude is within the altitude constraint. For example at the airport LSZH, I choose the VEBI1K SID. At the waypoint ZH558 there is the altitude constraint "above 7000ft". This is correct, but if I enter the altitude 11000ft, there is a message telling that the selected altitude is above the procedure maximum altitude. I can confirm the change, but then the flight plan cannot be validated and the waypoint ZH558 now contains "below 7000ft" instead of "above 7000ft". Best regards, Daniel

I had to re-install windows 10 recently and after that I entered the registration key on the Pilot2TC window. But it does not register as previously. I sent a request to [email protected], yesterday but didn't get a reply. Is there anything that I could do?

Hi, I just installed V2.6.1.3. When I want to export a flight plan the export window ends with the field for the base name. According to the user guide there should be an export and close button further down, but they are not visible even if I resize the window. I can use them by <shift-tab> 3 times to reach the export button and press enter, but it is still not visible. (By the way: It would be nice if you could order the fields for <tab> so that it does not jump around in chaos. 😉 )

Dave, I have FSUIPC7 beta running and am connected to MSFS. What I am unsure of is how and where to get the Weather from the Sim so that P2A and MSFS mirror one another. Thanks, Scott

Can anyone tell me how to get the pilot2ATC window on to a tab/ phone separated from the monitor? I am using MSFS 2020 and X Plane 11.

Hey Dave, I ran into a couple of issues tonight, with MSFS 2020. Not sure if these are specific to MSFS or not, but here they are (I sent an email do the admin email with the exception screenshot and the log file): 1) I completed two flights in MSFS/P2A, both VFR short trips. For the 3rd trip i went to load in a flight plan and it gave me the exception in the screenshot. Of note, when I quit p2a and restarted and loaded the same flight plan it loaded in fine. So must be something related to trying to load after a flight completes. 2) On both VFR flights i did i was talking to the tower and in both cases it told me to expect the correct runway, …

Hi there On P2A version 2612 Situation: Open grammar helper, enter ICAO codes then select center->request->VFR Flight Following Problem: "Say this" box is empty so you cannot practice the phrase(s) listed in the "Phrases to Say" box. Notes: It also applies to other phrases like request current altitude, arrival runway request and more Without this functionality it is hard to debug why ATC doesn't work properly when connected in flight when distinguishing between recognition problems and phrase sequencing problems.

I get lots of cases where ATC suddenly falls silent and stops responding to me. Sometimes I am successful at clicking Connect and Connect again to reconnect. Many times that does not work. I have sent you email with a log of my most recent flight where I had some success getting comms going again but later was unable to. The other night, I had filed a FP, cleared it with CrDr, got taxi instructions from Ground, taxied to the HS and was handed off to tower. Hi Dave, I have had some of these problems before but tonight it seems I'm having ALL the problems! Thought I'd better report it this time. The first thing I noticed is there is no sectional chart. This has been a server off-line issue in the past. Maybe that is the source of most or all of my problems?? Several times it semi-connects. I get the first green text line but not the other two. I had to close the program and restart several times before it would connect. Seems much more problematic than I can ever recall before. P2A doesn't seem to know where I am. ATC randomly stops responding. Even simple "callsign radio check" doesn't work anymore. The work around is to completely Exit out of P2A app and restart it. Then everything works as expected. I am not finding any pattern that causes this.

Scenario: At parking bay avionics on default airport P3Dv5 tuned into ground or tower, no flightplan loaded intending to do touchngos Symptom: The option Request DepartRunwayRequest doesn't show what to say in the speech assistant window. This also applies to Request ArrivalRunwayRequest I think. Other options do show like Request EngineStart P2A version 2.6.1.2

This works just fine; in fact absolutely PERFECTLY on the ground and very beginning of the flight, but within a couple of minutes after takeoff on every flight, I am not recognized or heard by ATC at all. I will do the "Say it" feature, which does get heard, but then suddenly the controller will answer with every response from the last several calls I made, repeatedly over and over. I pause it and do the grammar practice and and it recognizes me just fine. I listen back and my voice sounds clear. I've read the manual from cover to cover. With these issues, sadly I cannot warrant purchasing this software. I have numerous logfiles, but do not know where to send them. …

I've been using P2ATC for over a year, and I'm very happy with it. I recently bought the Hotstart TBM900, and most of the time my radio messages from P2ATC are cut off or cut short, so I only hear the first few words. Same goes for the XATC chatter. Any ideas on this? I asked on the HS forum and Discord and was ignored. I did some searching, and found someone else had an issue where it was switching COM channels, but I don't have that issue, channel is not changing. TIA

I flew a KLAS-KBUR flight 3 times and got the same problem each time. Right before Palmdale I get transferred to another Center but it always tells me to Contact Center on “1.5” which doesn’t make sense. I read back with some random frequency so ATC will correct me and after a few tries it finally gives me a valid frequency. Has anyone experience this? I search the forum but couldn’t find any reference to this problem.

I am flying the FFA320 and this is a repeated problem so am mentioning it. Flying out of Toronto CYYZ on runway 5. Everything looks good and when you arrive at number one for departure it repeats over and over "Hold Short Number 1". Eventually when you get tired of listening to repeat loop over and over and pull out onto runway- xplane crashes. Using xplane 11.4 as 11.5 is too buggy and also using traffic global.

Hi--lately when I start P2ATC the map screen gets blue squares over it saying "this operation has timed out" and not any maps. The rest of P2ATC works. In order to get the map back I have to restart the computer. Simply closing and reopening the program doesn't help. I have a strong wireless internet signal and my computer has plenty of ram, etc. to run. What's wrong? Thanks.

When I get clearance for takeoff before I can even respond it will tell me to climb to about 3 different flight levels before it stops to let me respond do the initial directions. I'm running xplane 11.5b9 but it has been doing it since probably 11.5b3

I downloaded thdo. Thanks is today pilot2air.It won't launch. click on connect and it comes back disconnected.so never connect. Now I see this is called pilot2atc. So is this something different. Or is the pilot2air a older version. So what do I need to

Trying to do a flight from CYHZ-LFPG in the PMDG 777-200LR aircraft. Flightplan was created with SimBrief. The flight plan validates in Pilot2ATC, but WILL NOT file. Usually, pilot2atc works fine, but this one will not work. The part that word not allowed me off, is that, it gives you NO indication what could possibly be the problem. I have also tried to "Auto Plan" the same flight plan from within pilot2atc, but to no avail. I love pilot2atc 99% of the time; when this happens that 1% is a huge annoyance! Bruce
