(v2.6.4.2 beta 5o) Description: If you are approaching your last cleared altitude (e.g. you were cleared to FL180 but FL360 is final) during a handoff, co-pilot autoreplies to an altitude that hasn't been cleared yet. Example written out: You get IFR clearance to 7,000ft On takeoff, you are passing through 5,800ft on ascent and you get the handoff from tower to approach (or any other handoff similar) Your co-pilot (if you have auto-reply enabled checks in and says "{callsign} is at 5800ft climbing to FL180" The next message from ATC is basically "{callsign} good afternoon, radar contact" then "climb to FL180" The fix f…

Pretty sure it's something I am not doing correctly but in a few searches and multiple attempts I am unable to figure this one out. I have a subscription to Navigraph and point the updated Airac to the Beta folder. Ancho8 is no longer used. No option for Ancho9. While one departure would not be a big deal - it is all procedures that are out of date and this - Ancho8 - departure is not in the PMDG 737 FMC with the updated airac. (and the Appr at my destination was wrong) Am I missing files? cycle_info reflects Airac is up to date. Thanks - kinda new to P2ATC.

Bonjour Dave , I stopped simu fs 20 and XP 11 for about a year. I've noticed with the most recent (non-beta) version that when I request a Direct To I get: ###### Your Flightplan is out of date, please refile your Flightplan. Cleared direct xxxxx. Repeastable, happens every time. If it makes a difference my plan is "Imported" from LNM... After that it appears to work normally, although it never used to complain about the FP being out of date when you requested. Cheers, G

Hi: I have been using P2ATC and xp12 using the "workaround" option. However, three days ago, after updating to 2.6.4.2 Beta5j, I always lost the connection in the middle of the flight. I reconnect again, and in a few minutes, it disconnects again and again. So, impossible to use P2ATC with XP 12. Are there any other options out there I have not known yet? Please, advice and thank you all IPA

Hi Dave, I ran into a problem today with P2A beta 5g, this also occurred in 5h. Everything works fine until I contact ground to taxi to the runway. When I do it seems that the program locks up. I get no reply from ground and all I can hear is the chatter. When I try to bring P2A up from the task bar it won't open. I have to close it from the task manager. The odd thing is, I used P2A yesterday (beta 5g) without a problem. Below is the log from my last flight. I've been trying for a few days to solve this now. I believe that this probably isn't so much a Pilot2Atc bug as a security/permissions problem with the SQL software, but I'd like some input. So far when I try to use pilot2atc with msfs, this is the message I've been getting: Unable to initialize database the underlying provider failed to open. a network-related or instance specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that the SQL server is configured to allow remote connections. Hello Dave, I may have discovered a new bug when exporting flight plans to/for MSFS. With the latest beta I recently created a new flight plan and exported it to a specified folder on my PC drive so could later import it into MSFS. Once in MSFS on the world map flight planning screen, I then proceeded to load my new flight plan. I like to do this so that when I load into the flight itself, the flight plan is then automatically loaded into the plane's GPS. With this latest beta when the exported flight plan is loaded in the World Map screen, the boxes just under the "from" and "to'" airport selections (where you would designate your parking spot for example) are …

I noticed that P2ATC says "cleared to cross runway XYZ" when a runway crossing occurs. IRL it is only "cross runway XYZ" to prevent confusion with takeoff clearances

Disclaimer: I’m new to Pilot2ATC and in the trial period, the whole thing could be a pebtac problem. Problem: Dialed in transponder code changes unintentionally. When I dial in the squawk code, I get a „radar contact“ message from atc. The displayed code changes unintentionally after a few seconds to another code. Hey Dave, Got this crash today using the last beta 5c. I noticed today that 5d2 is available and have installed but not tested. I recently updated my .net stuff from MSFT. I seem to get a lot of taxi routes that seem illogical. I tried to paste two P2ATC taxi maps from recent flights out of KSFO to illustrate the problem, but I could not paste into this message? I'll try to describe the routes, Taxiing to 01L, It went on A toward the departure end of 01L then across 01L and 01R then left on L to M then back across 01R to get to 01L. In another one to 01L from a different gate, it went on A toward the departure end of 01L to G then across 01L and 01R then right on L to M then back across 01R to get to 01L. I t doesn't seem logical to loop around like this and cross multiple runways, when there is a simple direct route to the runway. I j…

Hi everyone, I'm new to Pilot2atc but am enjoying learning how to use it. Really wish I'd bought it earlier! One thing I've noticed is that that taxiways at some airports, Liverpool EGGP for example, don't align with the location in game. Is there a way to select and move all the taxiway and runway points? With Liverpool I've noticed that because I don't reach the hold short point for runways 27 I am unable to gain takeoff clearance and permission to enter the runway. Is there any way to select all the points and move them to realign the runways and taxiways? I've tried using MakeRunways but it doesn't copy across the taxiways, possibly because I'm using the Liverpoo…

Hi Dave, Not a big deal but just wanted to point this out. There is one place where i notice it still saying winds instead of whinds. This occurs when you're on final, but don't tell atc you're on final. At some point, not too far from the runway, atc just tells you cleared to land. In that communication it says winds when it gives you the wind info. I only noticed this cuz i often forget to tell atc i'm on final, lol. Thanks, Joe

I was using the HP Reverb g2 for x-plane 11 with Pilot2ATC and it worked great. Now that I changed over to the Pimax 8kx, I get no audio from Pilot2ATC anywhere... the x-plane sounds function fine but P2ATC does not seem to play through the headset or anywhere.

So this seems to happen about 50% of the time where as I'm ready to taxi and ask ground for taxi instructions and Ground asks me to contact Tower. Once the Tower frequency is active I immediately switch back to Ground and request taxi instructions again and it usually works after that. Sometimes I have to go through the frequency change again but usually it works on the 1st handoff. This has been on ongoing problem through many updates.

CYXE airport frequency assignment is incorrect in version 2.6.4.1; Frequency 118.3 incorrectly set to 'Radio'. Went back to version 2.6.3.2 and it is now correct and working; Frequency 118.3 set as 'Tower' which is correct.

When I import a flight plan and want to change the cruise altitude, it sets a lower value than expected. For example FL180 -> FL55. When I want to fly the route, I only get a clearance for a much lower altitude than expected. For example the first clearance after takeoff is only 1000 feet. Also, when I fly to FL180, I always get a response that I should reduce my speed to 250 knots, even though I am over 10000 feet. It seems like Pilot2ATC is getting a wrong altitude value from Microsoft Flight Simulator. I have already reinstalled Pilot2ATC. The only additional thing I do is to change the AIRAC cycle to 2212 with Navigraph FMS Data Manager. Here is a…

When trying to add a flight plan into the UI it does not take and when I try to add a destination airport it gets backwards and tells me that I need to add a destination airport although it has one filed in the UI. I've made a video of what I am talking about. What happens is that I put CYVR into the UI next I put in a vor SEA which does not show up I put in a airport that show up but when I try to add a vor before it does not show up but erases that destination airport. I put the destionation airport back in and the whole flight plan show up with two destination airports. I know this a lot and maybe does not make sense what so ever. In my last 3 flights, twice recently, once into KSEA and once into PAJN there was no clearance to decend or the clearances were way off from the STAR bringing me in too high ie. KSEA cleared only to 14500 but chart is 3200 at KARFO. At PAJN never cleared me below cruise altitude FL 360 even after I ignored it and landed it was still telling me to climb to FL360. The altitudes in the flight plan in Pilot2ATC looked correct in both cases ie. agreed with the STAR and IAF going into KSEA and would have brought me to the correct altitude for the approach at PAJN.
