  1. Was on a flight today from TUL-GSO and not long after departure, the controller was already telling me what approach to expect and trying to vector me. It was pretty odd. The only thing I did differently on the ground that I normally would was to request a different departure runway. But other than that, nothing else. Using latest beta.

Dear Dave Exporting plan with SID, STAR and APR and having checked option to export procedures in MSFS they appearing in MSFS as standalone waypoints, not as procedures, so in case of need to replace the procedure it takes time and effort. Option "export waypoints for procedures"is off Can't find how to attach images, if somebody helps - will put them here Thanks! Igor

    Long time p2ATC user Over the last several days I could not access the WEB Page that I check almost daily. Finally I kinda went in the back door and tried p2atc.org to get into the system website. Now today I went to start my P2ATC application and I received an error that my License Activation Failed as it is on another machine. I dont have another machine, Have always used this....I use P2ATC daily. Ummmmm? Suggestion????

  4. MSFS (with 40th anniversary update) The tower would always only tell me I'm number 3 for departure. I tried "request departure", "ready for takeoff on runway", "is number one for departure"...I also tried disconnecting and reconnecting. None of it worked. Any ways to work around this issue? This is the first time this has happened to me - could it have something to do with the MSFS update?

    I am assuming this is known...but: Seems like any STAR that terminates in vectors, P2A ATC is: Prematurely vectoring the aircraft off the STAR Vectoring the aircraft in nonsensical directions (completely off course, away from the airport, and not toward the approach)

    XP beta 12 (first flight with beta 12). p2atc started on gnd - 121.9. Tried to switch to clearance, 121.65. swtiched momentarily, but then switched back to 121.9. this happened for any freq, whether I tried to switch using p2atc or via the plane's comm1. toliss a319. beta q of p2atc.

    Using xplane12 and the copilot is choosing the wrong approach frequency. This is happening in differnt locations. For example...ATc tells me to contact Kags approach on 119.50 and the copilot chooses Kaik approach on 119.50. AT this point Im locked on the kaik approach and cant manually choose kags approach. Then the constant badgering starts to change to kags approach. Hope this helps. P2atc 8pbeta

  8. Planned a flight from Lima, Peru (SPJC) to Cuzco, Peru (SPZO). Get the ATIS as displayed on the left freq box. On the right, the box displays 118.5 SPJC ClrDel. Click on the box to swap frequencies. However, 118.5 SPJC ClrDel freq. that was on the right becomes 118.5 SPIM ClrDel on the left.     So I was on a flight tonight into KPOU and encountered issues immediately after handoff to TWR. VFR flight following for the entire flight was fine, then upon reaching the 11nm distance from destination, APP terminated radar service and handed me off to TWR (this is normal), but then immediately after, I was handed off to APP again...why? I figured maybe this was a random bug, so I contacted TWR anyway. I received clearance to enter a pattern for rwy 33, all OK, but then TWR hands me off to CTR and then to APP again...why?   10. I couldn’t understand why the P2ATC Copilot often did not acknowledge the controller’s clearance or request, such as a takeoff clearance or a frequency change. This happened frequently, but not always. Today, I found out that if I repeated the very same request, exactly the same way, I would get once more the controller’s reply BUT, after this second time, the copilot would acknowledge the controller’s statement and the exchange would continue normally from then on. This is puzzling. My work around does the job, but I sure would like to know why I have to go through this rigmarole... Didier

    I was trying to read back landing clearance and the controller misinterpreted the number four as "for". This is the transcript from the program: White text: "Islander Three Papa Mike Negative, you are cleared To land On runway One Four" Green text: "Cleared Land Runway One for Islander Three Papa Mike" White text: "Islander Three Papa Mike Negative, you are cleared To land On runway One Four" Green text: "Cleared to Land To Runway One for Islander Three Papa Mike" White text: "Islander Three Papa Mike Negative, you are cleared To land On runway One Four" Etc. until I gave up on the readback and just reported when I was on final.   12. With the latest betas (7&8), I took an IFR flight from KTYS to KFNT. Runway 18 at KFNT was correctly selected as the expected runway based on winds. This runway only has an RNAV approach (no ILS). However, when getting close to KFNT, I wasn't given any instructions for the approach. No descent, no "expect RNAV approach with the xxx transition, etc." Just silence.

    Hi there, On the 8E beta right now, and am having problems when first connecting with P2ATC and getting the ATIS. At both KORD and KPHX, the local ATIS "is not available" and am getting alternate ATIS reports from the closest airport. Confirmed this behavior on my friend's computer who is also running 8E. We're both in MSFS in the SU11 beta, Steam Edition.

Versions of Software: Xplane: XP 11 (11.5 Latest) P2ATC: Latest Beta 8B I was doing a flight in XP-11 from KMCO - KEWR. The flight plan was setup as: FATHE3 VIYAP Q87 JROSS DCT FLO DCT TUBAS DCT FOZZY DCT FAK PHLBO3, with the approach as ILS 22L. At or around MARRT in the STAR, it vectored me off the STAR, which was fine.     just tried to open. , it got about 10% and I got an error "Unable to initialize Database". just installed windows 11. and it opened before. as I have re set all my config. Today I entered the two waypoints for an IFR flight plan and it didn't work so I re started. and then got the error.   16. I am experimenting with the "Info acts as tower" setting. It would be fun to populate the virtual world with more towered airports. What kinds of frequencies does this setting make behave as a tower? Is it strictly only frequencies categorized as "Info"? I was hoping Unicom and CTAF would also apply, but I wasn't able to interact with a Unicom frequency as a tower.

This example is under Tower, Request, ToAltitude. Other examples under VFRAirspaceEntry, RequestedAltitude, DirectTo. Tower, Information, PatternDirection is another. Clr_Twr, Request, VFRAirspaceEntry also. etc., etc... These are just a few examples. If these are using the same code that the active program uses it would explain why many phrases spoken don't work correctly.…

  18. I have the Zibo 737 and Pilot2atc, both are current versions. I have used the Navigraph FMS Data tool to update all my x-plane items correctly, and both Pilot2ATC and the Zibo mod show the correct AIRAC cycle. (2208) However when I do the auto plan in the Pilot2atc it chooses sids and stars that are not in the FMC. I'm not sure if it is Pilot2atc or the Zibo that is incorrect, however I assume pilot2atc because one of the names ended with a 4 and in the zibo it ended with a 5 with the same name. In any case, is anyone else having this issue?

  19. This is happening again. It was happening frequently before then it stopped for awhile and now it's back at it. All is good until I get close to final approach. I'm connected to Tower (at destination) and request Clearance to Land runway whatever (the one shown in the P2A setup) and I get clearance to land but it's back at the airport I took off from 2 hours ago. No amount of requests will get me back to my destination airport/runway. I have "Force Pilot Runway Selection" checked along with "Match SIM Runway if Known". Nothing else is checked in the "Flt Pln" tab. Puzzling. Any ideas?

  20. Hi, I on the 2.6.3.2 Public Beta 6 and the Volume of the ATC is changing constantly. Sometimes while flying it becomes very quiet so it's hard to understand. And sometimes the Volume changes while speaking. Mostly the syllable at the end of words are louder than the rest. thanks

On a flight today P2A gave me a crossing altitude of 'At or Above FL110' for EXCOS, the last waypoint of my STAR which is marked on the chart with 'At or Above 4000' Which makes sense, it's very close to the IAF: https://i.ibb.co/QJtXcjt/Screen-Shot-2022-08-20-at-9-22-22-PM.jpg "At or above FL110" would make the approach (Alt for approach is 3000 ft) simply impossible. Shouldn't P2A take the published min/max altitudes from the chart into account when stating crossing altitudes? Thanks! Dirk

    I do have a very special issue with the PTT button and the Velocity One Flight Yoke. The special is that the V1F annouces itself as two devices with the same name of VelocityOne Flight: one is the yoke, one for the throttle Quadrant. I try to program the PTT button on the yoke. When opening the dialog I see both devices with the same name. But I have to select the correct one to have the buttons be detected. Only, if I select the second entry, the button on the yoke will be detected. See screenshot: But after saving this setting, I have to push the button number 8 on the throttle quadrant.     It's got to be something I'm doing wrong because if this program ran as bad for others as it does for me there'd be a whole lot more complaining. First off I'm running the latest beta (Public 6) and have also recently reinstalled (over the existing installation per the recommendations) but continuing to have a multitude of issues. Mostly my flights go as planned until I get close to approach. Sometimes I'll get a handoff to Approach and then to Tower but not always. All of my flights are currently in the PMDG 737-700 and almost all have assigned STARS. I don't think I've had a successful P2ATC flight out of the last 10.
