I noticed the reported wind direct differs between the FMC and ND. Spped is always the same. Is one magnetic and the other true?

I myself(100% amature simmer) use autoland(ILS) 90% off the time when landing, see some post that this is devided on the subject on what real pilotes use, any real comersial pilots in here that can confirm what you guys use moust use , manuell or auto land(ILS) ;)

I have installed hotfix 3 and my wingflex has been reduced while taxiing. I mean, it is still there but much more slight. Is this normal after hotfix 3, or is it one of those bugs that seem to affect specific systems? (I have searched the forums but couldn't find a post I read before about this matter).

I have tried a few times now to fly from EGKK to EHAM without full success. Can someone tell me what "EFIS MODE/NAV FREQ Disagree" means please? I arrive for Runway 06 and the ILS is 110.55 as far as I can tell. I use the Redfa approach on to Sugol? I have set the NAV 1 on both sides, and I have the F/D on both sides. I set NAV on the overhead?Also as I make the approach I get another warning on the cdu saying no approach reference selected? I must be doing something wrong and I have tried to read up and find out what's wrong.Maybe I have missed something? Any help would be appreciated a lot. Andy

OK, I hold my hand up. I am not a long established customer of PMDG (although now changed) going from one aircraft to another, nor am an establshed pilot of anything that comes close to the intricacies of the NGX. So, I am reading and learining but I have had an issue that I simply cannot fathom out, wrong sequence of startup procedures perhaps? I know it's probably finger trouble, but no matter how I try to follow instructions I simply keep coming back to the same problem. I am trying to get into the routine of starting the plane from dark and cold, once I have mastered that I will not feel such a cheat once the FS2Crew arrives I go through the strat up procedures, wha…

I'm sure this is something simple, but I haven't been able to turn the HUD on. I flipped the HUD down but there is no readout. Anyone know if there is a simple on off switch that I am missing? Thanks in advance for any help, Pete

Hi guys,After installation of the NGX, the sim stutters a lot. Seems like it's loading something every second. Fps is normal @ 30 fps but drops to 2 fps every 2 secs or so. I tweaked the FSx.cfg as per manual, i also tried various settings in Fs to eventually bare minimum, but no luck. My system runs Win7 32 bit on core 2 quad 2.4ghz, 3.0 gb ram and gefore gtx560. All other addons and planes run normally and no other background programs are running. Any ideas?Regards,Jeffrey

Just want to tell PMDG, they have done a great job with this flight simulator for FSX, thank you for the effort of putting this together!!I am a B738 pilot in real life and tonight I tried out this simulation on a medium distance flight between ESSA and LEPA (Stockholm/Arlanda and Palma) using the Norwegian livery.Used the Virtual Cockpit view all the time and almost everything is there to find as in real flightdeck. You that have built this simulator and that are flying the aircraft know whats missing. But that is small details and no big deals.Simulated an engine flameout, everything responded as expected, as well as electrical malfunction and resetting while in flight.…

Hi, I refer to PMDG's post earlier regarding what's under investigation/confirmed/fixed for next update. Under "FIXED", you stated that UDP event flooding on FSX/Gamespy multiplayer servers was fixed for next update. My question is: Is that fix implemented in either of the two hotfixes that have been released, or are we still waiting for a fix for this issue?

Hi Guys, I would like to make sure that my landing lights (see attached 737x.jpg) are what they should be. They are a little bit of cartoon style while 747x lights are more solid (747x.jpg).IS this normal? RegardsCZarek

To celebrate the release of the NGX I have just bought myself these two program. I am not very clever with these things but I have almost succeeded in getting the two programs working together. I just have one problem. My mouse pans the cockpit when moved. I know it shouldn't do this but I don't know how to stop it. Maybe I should be asking in other forums but I thought I would try this one first. Thanks. Bill Miller

Prior to any of the Hotfixes#1,#2,or #3 I had no issues whatsoever. Foolishly,against my better judgement,after installing all the Hotfixes and still running error-free-freeze up-free,I downloaded the latest Base Package v 2922 which is supposed to incorporate all those Hotfixes,etc,etc.And now,I will get to the taxi-ing stage,go to the OH panel to switch on main landing lights,and the whole OH panel just freezes-up.I can use the A key to cycle through the 2D to VC modes,but that is all I can do.Back into 2D,still frozen out. Then it all of a sudden unfreezes,gives me a momentary access to the OH panel,then promptly re-freezes. Anyone else experiencing these kinds of loc…

I cant start the engines!! In the FMC I "load panel state" I choose load short. I can successfully start engine #1 but #2 doesn't start!! Is there a manual on how to do this?

For the sense of added realism, i would like to know how the real world airlines conduct their training. Perhaps a detailed account of the order, and length of the course would be great to know. And if you could eloborate on the "line" training too. Thanks-

Why fix something that's not broken ? My NGX was working perfectly with no hot fixes. Yesterday night, I installed hotfix 3 and everything seemed fine. This morning, GCLP --> LPPT, 300 nm from destination, everything froze, but the aircraft stayed on course. No way to get it back running again. No FPS problems, nothing. I clocked more than 60 hours of flight without the hotfix with not a single problem. Hotfix 3 was installed and that happened. I should have waited for an SP and not installed this fix. My advice for anyone who hasn't installed the hotfix and doesn't have any problem is WAIT FOR AN SP and DON'T INSTALL the hotfix. Plain and simple.

Good day, I have many questions for real pilots, I would appreciate some answers. -when i can push the APU GEN's to ON, on taxi or on blocks ? -for engine start, is only the APU Bleed on or the Engine Bleed too, for Dual Bleed ?-when is a IRS Alignment reconomend, after each flight ? -how does a quick alignment ?-When can I open the isolation valves when on blocks or bebor push ? -On Turnaround what will turn off ? Quick question, the manual recommends turning off system A to prevent damage to the nose gear on pushback.My question is, if this is recommended for both the electronic and engine driven hydraulic pumps? Oh by the way, I love love love love the NGX!!!
