Captain Randozza: I posted in your PMDG general thread my concern at not having ever received a verification email from you, after purchasing two LLCs, one for the J41 another for the NGX. I want to redownload the NGX but I cannot submit a support ticket until I finally get access through verification. The email address in my profile is unchanged. I know that this is an admin matter but I would ask that someone deals with this asap.

The tutorial added to the download is nice but it begins in the stage of a running 737. I it possible to get a tutorial which starts from scratch eg cold and dark cockpit? Thanks!!

The first time I tried to activate the NGX I got the abovementioned error. The second time I tried activating differently and got activated. The first time I booted up FSX and tried loading the NGX for the first time directly from the aircraft menu, with a custom paint and got the activation error. The second time booted up FSX and I loaded the trike first at my airport of choice. I then went back to the aircraft menu and chose the house paint NGX and did not get the activation error. Hi Have gone through the "NGX Tutorial 1" a few times now, very enjoyable, superb flight choice and the pacing is spot on for me, great work Ryan.Ive honed a pretty solid knowledge of the Level-D 767 (which sadly ill most likely never fly again) and have used that to poke around the NGX, but looking at the FCOM's 1/2 i know im missing a huge chunk of the iceburg that is lurking beneath the surface as far as my knowledge goes. I am definately more of a hands on learner, and often use in depth manuals such as the FCOM's more as an answer to a question i ask during my normal poking around then a Read through retain and apply fashion. So last night I was on my way out of DCA, when about 10 minutes after takeoff I had an excessive brake heat alarm. Followed the QRH, landed her back at DCA, then cleared the failure. Today, on my way to some random city I picked, I recieved the same failure SEVEN times. I cleared it initially because I didn't want to deal with it again. Then it happened again. Then again. So I turned off the random failures, It happened again... you get the picture. Any idea why this is an issue? Is there maybe something I'm missing that's actually causing it? Anyone find anything that works somewhat effectivly for a fuel planner? In some cases my fuel planning works well but others not so well. Some times I come in with more than needed and well today I didn't come it at all. Slight miss calculation and strong head winds well needless to say while intercepting the localizer I see low oil pressure lights and things don't sound so right. I ran out of fuel. Hi, I notice when I use the HGS/HUD that part of the text on the EFIS panel disappears. In particular the MINS, RADIO, BARO, VOR1, OFF and the graphic around the the VOR1 rocker switch. Anyone else see this, and has it been reported?.

I have a very humble setup and only recently bought FSX since I wouldn´t think of passing up on the NGX. I bought the NGX pretty much on Release day and didn´t really think it was worth it to install it since I would probably run out of memory or something and then commit suicide. I´ve been patiently awaiting my new i7 with the works to arrive. I couldn´t fight the urge though and decided to install it along with other recommended add-ons that I hadn´t tried yet and were rotting away in my HD (Ezca and track IR). I have just tried using the nVidia 3d settings manager for fsx and took everything off 'application controlled' and wound everything up to max on both global settings and application settings. The result - instant approx 15 fps improvement from about 17 on takeoff with hills a bit blurry to 30fps (externally limited) plus best scenery quality I've ever had (NZ/Wellington). During a recent flight, I used FLCH for a descent. I noticed that the power level came back to about 42%. I thought FLCH should have brought the power back to idle while the aicraft pitch for the selected speed. Any comments?

Guys, I bought TOPCAT and I have FSUIPC. I cannot get TOPCAT to actually send my Payloads/Fuel to the airplane, am I doing something wrong or is the NGX not compatible with TOPCAT?CHeers

Hello Guys, Today I noticed a BUG of 737NGX about holding pattern. I'm testing the standard holdings makes by FMC, are very beautifull! But during the outbound track I pushed "EXT HOLD" and the airplane went crazy! It does what it wants and no command responds during it precipitating... I had close my FS. I thought that was an occasional bug, so I restarted my FS and same thing was happened! During outbond track I selected "EXT HOLD" and the 737NGX went straight-in only and none of the commands worked!! Do you know any resolutions?

Okay here goes: First, the problem: - twice now, I've started up the NGX (all good...have done about 10 flights so far so I sorta know what I'm doing) however the left engine (which is running and at an N1 of 20% I think) will NOT increase or decrease. I use the CH pro multithrottle and have tried moving the throttle up (which actually moves ingame) however the engine is stuck at 20%. Any ideas? the right engine is fine. The last time this happened as well, it was just after pushback. its like it disconnected from the actual throttle. Last time I fixed it by restarting the engine which worked...this time it didn't so had to reload the panel and start from scratch. Second,…

Hi!I tried to stall some times the aircraft, with and without GW on FMC.I have some doubts. Autoslat is correctly working with GW set.It won't work without it. As far as I know autoslat MUST work before stall, the GW is not determinant for that.Also, there is no advice of stick shaker BEFORE the stall without GW and no band on the speed tape, only the red limit on the AOA indication (if used).Need pilot feedback about this, I'm pretty sure that shaker must run before stall also if the SWS doesn't know the weights, but I've not found exact info about this.

The 737NGX tutorial is the best tutorial ever. For the first time I was able to complete a first flight without ANY problems! Seems logical but it isn't, I can tell from experience... After doing the tutorial twice using the tutorial pdf, I felt the need to 'compile' a 'checklist' from it: the tutorial contains a LOT of information that's great to read the first time, but during the next flights you tend to skip or oversee steps due to all the information that's provided. I just finished the tutorial 'checklist': it has 2 pages (A4), simply formatted (nothing fancy), with EVERY step you need to perform the entire tutorial flight, including the bonus shutdown etc. I made i…

Hello,until today I was one of those without any problems flying the NGX.And before submitting a ticket by PMDG I wanna hear, if there is anybody who canconfirm this.Just now I am flying in Australia, which is completly covered with OrbX Sceneries andAirports. I have one big problem in YBCS (Cairns). Doing the settings on the Perf Init Pageand confirm this setting by pressing the EXEC button i get a complete freeze of FSX.The screen becomes milky and nothing happens. I can finish the Sim only by using thetaskmanager. This occurs only in YBCS. Anybody with similiar Problems in Cairns or other Addon Sceneries? PS, I don't have the hotfix installed. Regards

Hi PMDG, First of all, let me say that you can be extremely proud of yourself. I am a real world BBJ pilot and it's unbelievable what can be achieved on computers now day, just like the real thing!!! I have a graveframerate loss especially playing Microsoft Flightsimulator X.
