Here's the thing: In a climb, when I have the MCP altitude set lower then the VNAV target altitude then the aircraft will hold its altitude as commanded by the MCP.The VNAV button is still lighted green and therefore, when increasing the MCP altitude one should expect that the aircraft will automatically climb.But I will always have to push the VNAV button twice in order to 'wake it up' for it to do so. Similar in a descent, When interrupting a VNAV descent by pressing the ALT HOLD button the aircraft will maintain that altitude.When pressing VNAV again, i'd expect the aircraft to continue its descent, but this doesnot always happen.perhaps it depends on the lateral mode …

Hi Guys reinstalled ngx after hotfix but before and after I have no runway lights illuminating the ground in the VC at dawn or dusk but they are working in 2d panel, any help would be appreciated please.

Now my NGX is working, excellent. But I have a few problems,1) everytime I load the NGX when it enters the game there is no text on the flight displays. No speed numbers, no altitude numbers etc. Only the secondary display works.2) Is there an FPS limit? I currently have mine running on 35FPS which I never really do. Things go wrong when I use time acceleration. Last time I used time acceleration I had a CTD. What is the minimum FPS I can run the NGX on and what happens if I set it to a low FPS?Thanks for now

Some wired thing happens whlie planning routes from EDDF - LFPG. Route(Airac 1108) - EDDF SOBRA Y180 DIK UN857 RAPOR UZ157 VEDUS LFPG EDDF SID : RWY18 - SOBR3SLFPG STAR : RWY27L - VEDU4J.VELLER SID set, and right after STAR selection, CRZ ALT CHANGED msg appears on scratchpad and cruise alt has actually changed. After this, all the altitude values in LEGS page has gone.I found there're 2 discontinuity and a (VECTOR) leg, so removed all discons and vector legs.Even with this modification It doesn't calculate routes for a long time. FL280 is embeded with STAR procedure.PERF info was not set because I do it after Departure has entered.. Is this a bug or Am I miss someth…

I know it is easier to do LAND 3 but for learning, how can I actually see a "LAND 2" in my PFD?I understand both operational and passive concepts.. Tried autoland with Fail Passive mode, but it shows "CMD" instead of "LAND 2".When I made a failure of ILS of change NAV frequency, there's simple "NO AUTOLAND" rather than "NO LAND 3". I wanna know how it works.. both way. (basically fail passive from beginning and downgraded from fail operational). Thanks in advance!

Hi.When i try to start a free flight with a NGX, FSX just lags, then shuts down..I have Vista 32 bits, fsx acceleration, and this is the first time this problem happens.What can i do ?

The following problems were noticed and resolved. I installed the NGX the day it came out, then installed Hot Fix 1 when that was available. I was able to get 10 full flights in without any issues except the 2 second freeze but it would only happen a few times during a flight and would resume flight after a 2 second delay if I stopped what i was doing and did not click anything. Today I log on to the forum and see their is a new Hot Fix 2. Uninstalled my Liveries and Installed HotFix 2. Then Reinstalled my liveries. Went to do a flight and did everything I normally do to setup from a Cold and Dark Cockpit. When I get to the part where you start the APU I got a Fault and A…

Hey to the livery development i dont mean any disrespect and im not being fussy, just concerned when the CAL livery and boeing house livery is coming out since almost all liveries on the before release list are availiable for download. This is my most anticipated livery (home livery) and just being impatient in a passionate way. Please no forum smart pants comments that this was discussed before or go search just concerned about recieving this amazing livery

The latest hotfix hasn't fixed panel freezes on my 737NGX. They start happening just after take off then reoccur about every minute pretty much to the second - a freeze for about 5-10 seconds - in clear air so no demanding clouds, and over the ocean so no demanding scenery. While my system isn't the very latest it ain't all that bad - i7 960 (unclocked), nvidia 470, Win7 64, 6 gig ram etc). Is there any indication as what causes these freezes and how to prevent them? As it is now the NGX is pretty much unflyable. Surprising as I was under the impression this aircraft was beta tested to the nth degree. Thanks. Bruceb

Not sure if this counts as bugs, or expected limitations in the new development of the NGX. When in instant replay, the PFD screen is frozen and doesn't work in the replay. It would be niceto see for primarily replays of landings, angle, and ft/sec etc on td. Some other panels/items than the PFD may not be updating on replay either.. Also, the spoilers stay up and don't reset to arm position, nor activate on touchdown in replay. NGX is not alone in this as some other 3rd party planes don't replay "correctly" either. Just to mention this. And by the off chance, this hopefully might be addressed in a future service pack. Thanks.

Hi All! I have been trying the SLLP-SPZO route yesterday, and i would like to get some insight on where i can find in the manuals the relative actions regarding high altitude takeoffs and landings... In FCTM i cant seem to find something relevant except "reduced thrust takeoff" part... Can someone specifically for this bird explain some bits regarding the procedures followed in such a takeoff / landing?

Hi all, Up to now I am having some difficulties to program the Saitek Yoke and Quadrant so that they work with the 737NGX.In FSX I only use the HAT button. All the rest is not in use.I only use FSUIC What I have experienced : after having done the throttles and flaps I programmed the airbrake lever in FSUIPC ( Joystick axes ). When moving the airbrake the throttle thrust reverse levers moved also.I then removed the complete FSUIPC ini file and let FSUIPC make a new one. Finally it seemed that it started to work, but after having programmed the 2 throttle levers lowest part ( below click ) for thrust reversers the flaps lever made the thrust reverse levers work too. Everytime I start a new flight I noticed the fuel load is 92.1% and even when I change it via the CDU next time I start FSX and a flight the same fuel load is back again. Is there any way I can change the default fuel load? The PAX and cargo weight seems to be remembered though.

Hello, You probably know of this problem PMDG. LNAV is not maintaining the magenta line at cruising altitude after a change in wind direction or speed. is the approach minumum thrust modeled? i see no difference between approach and flight?

Hi all, I'm suddenly unable to control the ailerons in the aircraft using my CH yoke. They work normally in all other aircraft- this is even with the aircraft fully powered/setup for takeoff. In the SYS page on the MFD they confirm a full-right deflection. I have the controls setup through FSUIPC, and haven't given me problems before today. Any ideas? Anyone else experience this problem? -Chris Henson.

I did a complete uninstall on my Flight Simulator prior to install PMDG 737NGX. I have a issue when every time I touch LSKl1to enter aircraft weight I got a crash. A fatal error occurred pops up and Flight Simulator shuts down.Does anybody knows or have the same problem?Thank you!

If you want more fps just switch to windowed mode!I was getting between 8 to 12 fps at KSAN X and I thought it has to do with the high graphics settings but went to KLAX default scenery and I was getting the same.But when I switched to windowed mode I was getting between 20 to 30 fps. Don't know why is that but it's working for me.I just bought the aircraft few hours ago and completed a "full" flight without looking at any manuals. I floated a bit on landing due to my throttle lever not idling exactly a 30 feet AGL. To complete a normal flight without "learning" was my first objective but I've found there is so much I didn't know about. Thanks for the nice aircraft PMDG
