I've been trying to get step to work without any success, the FMC always says "unable" at step point. Heres what I do: 1. At cruse level FL340 I set MCP to FL3602. Look at optimum cruise level in FMC and check it's above FL 3603. FMC cruise page set step to FL3604. Execute change I'm expecting to see an auto calculated step point and then a step climb at the point, all I get is "unable" at the step point on the FMC. Any ideas? I think I'm doing this as per the manual, but if I'm honest, I haven't ingested the whole 2,000 pages of it yet......

Hello PMDG, I was just reading your Flight Crew Operations Manual Vol 2 (p. 10.65.3) on the Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) but unable to access it in the cockpit (VC) is the EFB available or soon to be available? I sure would love to use that cool feature. Anyhow, great job on the plane its really terrific someone builds these complex models to the degree of perfection as you do over there at PMDG. nikki1986

Hello PMDG. I've been a huge fan of your work and have had very minimal issues, however, this is a first for me. A search yielded only something called "hotfix?" didn't apply for me. Perhaps someone can help. I was flying KJFK-EHAM with the 738NGX and about 250NM from decent I turned right towards the next waypoint, but continued turning right for about 250 degrees, not the intended 60 degree course change. My CDU then stopped responding when I was inputting approach information and eventually the display screens locked. followed by all instrument input stopping. Just a couple of things that went wrong with this flight before I had to cancel it....First,both circuit breaker panels just magically disappeared once I reached cruise,and second once the sun set, the dome light (even on "high") started to only illuminate the overhead and the space behind the seats. Hi all, I remember in one of Nick's preview videos, he demonstrated a great feature on the NGX that provided a blue guiding line around the N1 indicator when the auto throttle was engaged to represent the physical position of your throttle hardware. A few times when disengaging AP/AT on short final I've had to make a VERY quick adjustment to the throttle as it was out of position. This feature doesn't appear to be enabled as default, but if anyone could point me in the direction to make the change that would be great. Kind Regards, Anthony Hammond.

Hello! I have an issue when I try to hold at a pilot created waypoint. For example, if I am assigned a hold on the mzz 180 radial at 50 dme. I create a place bearing distance waypoint and then enter that newly crated waypoint on the hold page. I get a scratch pad msg that says invalid point or something similar. I have also tried it with along track and place bearing/place bearing waypoints and they also do not work. I also noticed on the perf init page the temp deviation from isa defaults to 32 f and 0c. Should default to 0f and 0c. And one last problem I have is Im unable to enter a runway ident into the fix page. Any suggestions on what I may be doing wrong? Thank…

Hi all, FSX crashes every time when I try to continue 737NGX flights that have been saved during descent. Additional information: I can load flights that have been saved while the plane is still on ground or in cruise. Whenever I try to re-load a flight that has been saved during the descent phase, FSX will always crash upon re-loading the flight. Checked that all 3 save files are in \Documents and in the \Panelstate folder, looks like something is wrong with the Panelsave/-load code. Anyone else having that problem? Any help is appreciated. I have noticed that the auto brake switch doesn't automatically switch to disarm, either from the RTO position or from settings of 1 - max. Basically the brakes are disarming, but the switch is not moving itself to disarm, i have to do that manually after the fact. Even when I select gear up or apply manual braking the switch remains in RTO or on the AB setting I selected. Even though the brakes physically disarm, the switch doesn't leave the preassigned position. Is this normal for the 737? Thank your for your replys, Daniel Burke

Here is a step-by-step example of how I would go about planning a flight from Copenhagen Kastrup (EKCH) to Oslo Gardermoen (ENGM) that I hope might be helpful. I've included instructions on where to download the charts you need from the relevant real-world authorities. I was testing LRC flights on the 737-800WL, doing a flight from SBNT to GCLP (didn't know GCLP was so lame in FSX basic scenery by the way, anyone know a good add-on to fix that?) As I have service based failures active on my NG, I was hit by an FCC-B FAIL (so Autopilot B inop, not a problem) and by 2x ELEC HYD OVERHEAT. QRH said just turn them off and the ENG HYD PUMPS will be enough for the flight to continue, so Okay. Reached GCLP without any problems, and cleared the failures in the FMC. The autopilot failure was cleared successfully, but my ELEC HYD PUMP still indicate FAIL and OVERHEAT, and there are no failures active in the FMC. How…

Hi All, Yesterday I flown with ngx to Airport Alfonso Bonilla Aragon (SKCL)I made an ILS approach for runway 01, because it was needed during weather conditions.
