Hi,Sorry, but I don't understand how to configure the "failure system" in the FMC.I want the "failures" appear completely random for all systems (as in fspassengerX), but I don't know how.I don't know how to enable this, because I have a field that is activated with 0 failures every 10 hours and I must complete it. Hi guys After searching the forum and the FCOM's, the tutorial, the QRH, and a great flow checklist from a member on the forums, I'm stuck with two nagging questions I was hoping someone could give me a good explanation to. After installing the hotfix I am hardly able to do any flights since FSX crashes at random points during the cockpit setup whether this be turning the battery on, setting up the FMC, turning fuel pumps on, moving a window around, etc. Out of the last 8 times I have loaded the NGX, I have only been able to fly once. Before the Hotfix I had NO problems with FSX crashing except when exiting FSX (which judging by the one flight I was able to do has been fixed). Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi, In all flights it's recommended to filling the landing alt. Where on the fmc (or any other file) can I see the destination alt???I always check tha on www.fscharts.com. But this is not always correct!

Hi, I am working through the tutorial quickly to get to grips with some of the basics, and I am on my way down and trying to set the Radio Altitude. Now I know how to do this, it's pretty much the same as the 747-400 but I've got a ridiculously high number currently set (17208) and I can see no quick way of resetting this to the sensible 100 value.. any help!? Or I'll be here for the next century waiting to set it. I thought I could not use the wheel mouse, but it won't let me left click and hold to set it for some reason.. so it seems I am stuck with the wheel on the mouse which does 1 at a time.. is there a way to get this thing to use the left click and hold on this …

Just a few questions questions... (cant upload pics, keeps saying there is no file was selected when i did select one) 1) All the information on the HGS seems to be zoomed in so much that some of it is cut off on the sides, like half of the speed tape. Have tried changing chair position, adjusting projector location. 2) My landing and taxi lights are acting up. They seem to be using the default landing lights and not that realistic shiny one that comes with the 737NGX. 3) Also with the landing lights, the light itself seems to hover above the ground as a 2d space and be at the height of the taxi light. I'm hoping a real life captain/copilot for a world carrier can answer this. Knowing that airlines are pinching pennies, and watching every single line item on the expense list, are logo lights to be used frugally? I noticed at airports that it appears the pilots are in no rush to put on the logos at night. I also wonder, are they turned off above a certain height where their presence is not noticeable, like in cruise. This is a nitpicky query, but what can I say, I'm striving for ultimate realism to complement the first addon jetliner with an uncompromising approach to ultimate realism.

hi all I've been having a few problems with VNAV in that it seems to be calculating the TOD too late, then starting the descent and giving me an 'Unable to maintain descent profile' or something like that. I've been left high and dry quite a few times now because of this. Is there any way to correct this? my altitudes are usually between FL320 and FL360. I think the problem comes in the STAR requirements eg. above 9000, below 6000 etc. As soon as the bird realises it can't make the descent it levels off. :(

Hello, I was wondering if this is a possible bug? When in plan mode on the ND and a route has been entered, you have the option of stepping through each waypoint. Now on the 737ngx this is only possiblw once the IRS's are aligned. On other Boeings ie. 767, 757,777, B747 this is possible with the IRS's not aligned. Please excuse my ignorance if that is how the 737 is designed. It just seems odd to me that it is possible on most other A/C to be step through flight plans whilst waiting for alignment to finish. i use fsuipc (full) with my ch products yoke to setup geardown and gear up assigned on 2 buttons but this solution don't work whith the 737!when i press the button, the gear light flash but the lever don't move.i've tried to change the action while the button is realased buthaveno ochange!

I have a problem with the 737NGX, when it is running FSINN gives absurdly high temperatures to the air in the atmosphere and therefore makes it impossible for the aircraft in any vertical autopilot condition to reach decided FL above say 20000 ft. I belivie it could be a problem of interaction between the two sw. Anyone has the same problem????claudio capozzi

Well, I'm sorry if this is a really dumb question but after looking at the manual I still can't get a single channel ILS approach that will connect with the glide slope and path. I have the proper freq, the appr is engaged and showing green, and the autopilot is on. Do you have to put the freq in for both cmd's and have them engaged just for a single channel approach? I'm probably missing something so simple that after I find out I'll need a shot of Jack Daniels. :) Anyway any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. CaptMac

Hey Guys,Recently I have noticed something that I dont think I have ever noticed before. This is ONLY with the NGX. I am expierencing micro-stutters. I am solid at around 30fps with an external FPS limiter. it seems to be about every second I get a tiny stutter. It is most noticable on the grround or when looking straight down. Hi!I tried all voices in the menu, tried and tried more and more times, I only found a problem with the stby attitude indicator that appears to be locked, but it is not the problem now.Till yesterday the 2 bands, yellow and red/black for minimum manouvering speed and the stall margin are not displayed on PFD, but I was able to see them on the HUD.Today I played again with all voices in the menu, and I cannot have those speeds also in the HUD.Here you see the problem, the aircraft is at 15.8° of AOA, very close to the stall, but no indication occurs on speed tape.Any help?

Just installed the second hotfix. Seems when I try to reinstall the livery's again it says the folder already exists? Can I just rename them or should I find where they are and delete them all?
