PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hi gents, So the FMC seems pretty solid now with the latest Hot Fix butafter several hours the ND becomes non responsive.Can no longer monitior progress of my flight path.Also unable to zoom, switch screens, etc, etc. So I thought I try one more thing.I switched to the 2D panel and see every thingis working fine in there.After that I flicked back to the VC and noticed the ND displayWAS BACK TO NORMAL.I was able to continue my flight. I haven't checked it over yet but I think the First officers displays have no problems.So can this be a conflict between the Captains Displays and the 2D Panel ?? Anyway, I am able to carry on with my flight now. Cheers, Rick

If you look at the call system section (5.10.13), it says under attendant call that it sounds a "two-tone chime" in the cabin. In the NGX it, from the cockpit, I hear only a one-tone. Obviously - if this is an error - it's a trivial one at best. I'm just curious if the cabin hears a two-tone chime but the flight deck only hears one.

Just been watching Nick's videos again and I love how he is able to pan around the cockpit with ease. I find TrackIR to be a bit awkward when operating the overhead etc. You have to enable/disable, move your head in the air, look at the screen. It's a bit like rubbing your belly and patting your head at the same time! Don't get me wrong, TIR is amazing for in-flight viewing, but when doing a cold start I'd prefer for things to be more 'static'. Is the way he pans around the cockpit/external view something that is built into the NGX or is he using Ezdok in order to pan around? If it's the latter then I may have to invest. Hi Everyone: I posted 2 weeks ago about the annoying langding gear horn when using the PFC FLight Controls Throttle Consloe and Jetliner Flight Yoke. It seems there was no solution to the issue. First of all, none of us could get the landing gear and Flap Control levers to work. Then we could not get the landing gear warning horn to stop chiming even when the gear is down on approach. Does anyone know if there was a sloution to this? I seem to remember it had something to do with FSUIPC? Thank, Chris Catalano

So. I've managed to do a few very successful autolands at YPPH in order to get familiar with the systems. Long story short yesterday I did a flight to YMML and couldn't autoland. So I setup a small circuit today around the airport and the exact same thing happened. Checklist:-ILS frequencies set in NAV1 NAV2 (109.70) for ILS RWY 16-COURSE set to 160, both ones.-RWY length and elevation correctly set for HGS-VOR/LOC - followed by APP and engagement of both CMD switchesHere's a few screenshots showing each stage of approach up to finals. Hello all, I've been playing around with some settings lately to get the NGX to a certain sweet spot performance wise. I have found that running ASE with REX 4096 HD clouds, and especially the amount of cloud layers you have running through ASE, can have a huge impact on performance. I'm just curious as to how many layers you all have running. I started with 5, now I'm down to 2, which still looks pretty damn realistic. How many layers do you all have running, and what kind of performance are you seeing? Thanks so much for your help,

Ryan, et al, Is the plan still to post a "best practices in memory management" guide as indicated on the HF2? You had indicated this was coming Monday. I'm assuming you would pin it and I didn't miss it. I know there's a lot going on, but just wanted to see if you have a revised ETA for that post. (I'll even take an EFC on when you might update the revised ETA in the future). ;)

Hello,I have just (finally) finished a flight from KMDW to KTPA without CTD. On cruise I watch my flight from right side seat just over the wing (view Left/right overwing). I have seen that when turning right or left either right wing's aileron and flight spoilers remained fixed, no movement, which is quite strange. I was a little bit disappointed. Have you experienced that?If no, could you post a screenshot during a 30° bank turning showing the gentle movement?Thanks a lot. Bye.

Anyone with any idea why the exterior lights behave oddly after closing a flight down and restarting with an earlier auto-saved flight state of the very same flight ? Could get the Landing and Taxi lights to come on at take-off but could not get the Position strobe, the Logo, the Anti-Collision,or the Wing lights to switch on at all yet the Runway turn-off lights remained constantly on,unable to switch off. After installing hotfix 3 (16AUG11) my sim freeze and finaly ctd just seconds before touchdown!!! Has someone the same problem and what to do???

When I turn the landing lights on the UNITED 900WL, where the light shines on the fuselage the livery changes to KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. This only happens when the landing lights are on, when turned off the livery is fine.

Okay I installed the the 737NG, But after starting FSX I noticed that in the FSX menu, under Add-ons - PMDG, It only shows (about PMDG) and that's it? All my other add-on are okay, i.e. FSDREAM TEAM ,LEVELD767, FSUIPC. I didn't see a fix for this this?

Hi Today i had to reinstall my 737. It only crashed to desktop with "A fatal error occured" upon loading aircraft, didn't matter how i loaded it. So i tried uninstalling it and dowloaded a new setyp with the hotfix 3 patch and installed it with liveries. But now my zoom looks really strange.. Zoom 1.0 now looks like zoom 3.0 (see attachment) and if i zoom out the most to 0.3 it feels like 0.7 zoom was before Any idea of what happened?

If someone modifies a PMDG 737NGX Texture file, does PMDG really have an issue with that person sharing that modified graphic, with another PMDG 737NGX user ? What are re-paints, if they are not modified texture files. ? What really is the difference ? If PMDG will allow the sharing of Modified Texture files, amongst owners of that particular PMDG Product, please can they make it clear, if it is allowed, or "FORBIDDEN" Geoff

Hi all, I have made a video that is close to a tutorial, watch in HD quality please.

I can honestly see the point of TrackIR etc. in a very realistic MilSim like DCS A10 where you have to be all over the sky and hands on in a combat situation...but could someone please explain why anyone would actually need it with say NGX when EZDok can be set up to provide everything you need from a few programmable buttons?
