PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hi all,Is there a way to edit the color like we did on the FS9 737ng on the Tape color?I personally find it a bit too light gray and missing that darker purple color. I tried to lower the light settings, but it is dims out before you get the color you want.

I'm actually not suffered by freezing frequently, but had encountered about 3-4 times.Yesterday I flew LFPG > EGLL and successfully arrived to ramp. Outside was rainy.Three external sources set and shutdown engines, it's perfectly cold & dark status with Ext Pwr on.After a few minutes I tried build a new route for another flight, then I felt 'it's freezed'.. < Symptoms > - rising/lowering Yoke / MCP switches works fine ant A/T lights on and off.-2D FMC only shows it's initial page and there is no grey-backgrounded FMC. (ext pwr connected) Screen doesn't change at all when I click buttons.-3D FMC is completely frozen but when I click buttons, page shown only w…

I've read with interest the widely varying experiences of people using the hot-fixes. I have so far not used any of them and am running the NGX as installed, and apart from a few minor things (which may or may not be 'user error') I am having no problems. So...to hotfix or not to hotfix. They say don't mess with a running system.... and if it ain't broke don't fix it...? What would your advice be?

Hello, when I load cold and dark from FMC, I can ´ t release brakes. Have someone same problem?

Hello I am useing 4 monitors (3 viewing window and 1 cockpit) When i click on the cockpit window, all the sound except engine sounds disappears. Then when i click on the window monitor, the sound appears again. This is a problem, because i offen adjust some in the cockpit e.g. the autopilot. Help PLEASE :-(

Hello PMDG and flightsimmers, I would first say that I am very happy with PMDG 737NGX. Thank you PMDG I have some small questions that I seek answers. 1- is this a bug?: After takeoff when I turn on the autopilot and click the “vertical speed hold” button the aircraft doesn’t hold vertical speed but starts descending while VS sets up +1800. if you firstly click the “Althold” button and secondly the “vertical speed hold” button then this time the aircraft holds vertical speed. 2- If you look at the events of FSFK (Fs Flight Keeper) you see something off that doesn’t occur with the other Aircrafts. - The Becon-light constantly turns on and off while you're doing nothing.-…

I just installed my NGX without any problems, and after configuring her according to the excellent introduction I couldn't resist just pushing the throttle forward and take her up immediately. Hard to describe the feeling.... WOW... just wow... The sounds, the beautiful visuals (Trackir and triplehead2Go) and the smoothness of it all. Constant 30 fps (externally locked). I can't stop grinning right now, and I am going to spend a LOT of time with this beautiful lady... Thanks PMDG for this stunning add-on. Cheers,

Maybee a stupid question but I usning heading button/setting when direct the plane to fly the actual course etc given bt ATC etc. What/when do we use the course button?

Is this in the NGX? I have never bothered looking.

The hydraulic system has some problems: 1) the "Low Pressure" light never illuminated even I turn off the elec and engine pumps switches. 2) After loading the cold&dark state, the hydralic pressure is forever around 50 even the engines are started, and flight control is displayed as "Low Pressure". 3) After loading the cold&dark state, the "Low Pressure" lights in hydralic panel is never illuminated after starting APU or engines(switch is put to "off" in hydraulic panel). Does anyone meet the same problem? To customer support: could you tell me how to solve this? and I also tried to reinstall this ngx addon, but still has the same problem. Thanks.

Hi Fellow Simmers while setting up weights & balance using Topcat, when i try to send the config to flight sim x I get a cannot wtite to PMDG etc. etc. etc.I also get the same message when running ezedok config, is this normal or am i missing something. I dont know if anyone else is seeing this or not, but if they are I'd like to know..Over the last couple mof days I've run test flights using the hotfixes as they were issued. Now, the way i fly is probably not correct according to the book.. I disconnect the AP and autothrottle before I land. What i'm seeing is this..If I disconnect the AP and autothrottle, but leave the AP disco klaxon alone, the plane flies correctly and can be hand landed. However, If I turn off the warning klaxon by clicking on the AP Disco warning light, the plane refuses any more input from any controller ( joystick or keyboard ) and crashes..Is anyone else seeing this??Pam

Great maiden tutorial flight! Lots and lots to learn!! Following the tutorial diligently, preparing the PMDG House WL as instructed, I noticed that whilst Captain's seat FD switch produced instant "FD" announcement on PFD, the switching on of FD on the First Officer side, didn't light anything up on his PFD. I'm not referring to the Master indication by the way, which was OK on the Captain's side. Then, just as I was about to hit TOGA, I checked and saw that the FD annunciation was by now lit up on the First Officer's PFD. TO went ahead as it should. I wonder who experiences random FSX CTD after the 3rd HOTFIX and even then should I bother going back to the original installer because I never had problems before? Oh and fyi I cannot use the livery manager even with all the explanation given over the time. Is a support ticket worth it for now or you guys already working on something? Has anyone else had this problem? I've tried for the past 2 days on my FSX computer at home, and my computer here at work. Every time I try it says file can't be downloaded. Iv'e downloaded other files without prolem. I've even tried to rename the file and no luck. Nothing else wrong with the plane itself, that thing is money! Thanks,Michael

Hi, How often can i activate the NGX? I am reinstalling my Windows about every half year and I did it shortly after installing the NGX so now, i already installed it 2 times. Do I have to worry? Just saw that activation is limited. Or is it possible to extend this activation limit somehow.

Hi guys, First off a big thank you to PMDG for an amazing A/C. Was never a big fan of the 737 but all that has changed with this software. Awesome and by far the most realistic A/C for flightsim. This will take some beating! Now to my problem. I have an annoying issue where I cannot get thrust on engine no.1. The thrust lever moves physically in the vc but I get no increase in N1. Have also noticed L/H bleed indicator is on zero. I have normal fuel flow, N2 etc. Just no increase in thrust. /generator 1 is showing 400hz and 115v, so is providing electrics. Engine no.2 has always worked fine. This issue is on different A/C ie. 737-800 737-900. Seems to occur more if loading…

I'm using a CH products throttle quadrant with the 737NGX, and I'm having a bit of trouble setting the 737NGX up to work correctly with separate throttles (i.e. "throttle 1" and "throttle 2"). It mostly works, but the "cyan arc" feature does not work correctly, and sometimes moving the throttle causes the autothrottle to disconnect even though I have "A/T manual override" set to "NEVER". Is this a known problem, or have others managed to get this to work correctly? There seems to be nothing in the documentation on this, and a search on the forum has turned up nothing either. Anyone know how to turn up the brightness in the MCP windows?

Has anyone else had problems with their auto brakes not shutting off on rollout under 80 knots? I read the manual and pressed my rudder pedals to full braking twice in rapid succession and nothing happens, the aircraft comes to a full stop. The brake axis assignments are through FS, and not FSUIPC as advised.
