After installing the hot fix I noticed that my 738 (no winglets) can't follow the VNAV path on descent any more in the same route it did before. It's a lot more slipperyTruth is it's a bit heavy at 125K pounds at T/D (FL230), but it was able to descend on VNAV no problem before installing the hot fix with the same config. Shouldn't VNAV calculate an earlier T/D instead of overshooting all of the altitude restrictions?Anyone with the same "issue"?

Whats a guy to do..... I don't have a printer, so all of my printing I have to do my local library-(1 [email protected] at 3372 sheets - you do the math) I can't go to Staples-([email protected]) because they will not copy it because of "Do Not Duplicate" printed all over the manuals. It is a pity that this is not mentioned in the Intro manual under Ful and Payload ! I am talking about when you have selected your fuel and payload and then proceed tothe FMC to setup your flight (as in the tutorial flight). I love the option of being able to put in the already calculated ZFW on the Perf Init page.You can also put in the alreay calculated CG and get the trim setting too on the Takeoff page. I would not have known about this Great feature except for the Tutorial flight. I really think this should be in the intro manual as it is too good not to know about !!! Excellent PMDG. Fred.

Logged onto my PMDG account today and got the latest installer for the NGX that has all 3 hot fixes installed already. Uninstalled NGX and installed with the new Installer and everything seems to be very stable. Way to go PMDG! Third time is the Charm? Loading Saved Flights Crash issue was still there but was able to resolved it. What would happen is, whenever I went to load a saved FSUIPC Autosave flight it would crash. Other people were reporting that the crash was fixed in Hot Fix 2. I tracked the problem down. It was my X52-Pro Joystick and Throttle Controllers. After disconnecting them before loading a flight all worked fine without any crashes. So if your still expe…

Inspired by the control of the Camerapositions at the Airbus X from Aerosoft with Hotkeys F9 to F12 i made some changes in the aircraft.cfg incl. a new Cam called "FMC1". It allows the direct look at the FMC (before lower the Yoke).I allways use the VC with TrackIr5 and a Saitek X52 Pro and set whose switches T1 - T4 to F9 -F12 . So i have Pilot Seat at F9, FMC at F10 (Pilot looks to right down), Overhead Lower Panel at F11 and the Pedestal at F12 with a little bit correction up to the screens. I don't know what it is, maybe because of ORBX scenery, but when I fly into PDX I always get a ton of "Pull ups" and "Terrain" warnings. Then I see a massive block of Red on the screen but outside I'm still a good 3,000 feet above anything. Then it will continue doing this throughout the approach. Maybe it is just my set up but it is kinda sad because Portland is my home and I love flying into there. Anyone else confirm these problems for me? I'm using the PNW scenery by ORBX. I will try to get screens later as right now I am flying to San Jose. :)

Hi Can anyone help? still crashing on exit after flight,followed hotfix instructions,no other PMDG product does this or any other add-on i have with FSX,have tried everything- fresh install,no liverires,no add-ons running,no third party add-on running but still occurs,inflight no problems smooth and crisp, exit flight main fsx menu appears in right bottom hand corner of screen followed by" fatal error" fsx will restart.

When I fly my minute C172 at our flight club, I start up the a/c from "cold and dark" every time, takes me about 15 minutes divided between pre- taxi, pre-flight run up, clearance delivery if I have filed IFR, instrument flight pre- departure checks, and maybe a little longer if I need to call a fuel truck to the ramp. Teste some trips and pre programmed the FMC with the actual waypoints with alt speed etc. but it looks like many of the points to not held the pre programmed speed/alt etc. like I have fixed 300/250 and it keep 309/250 or 198/250 looks like it keep the alt but the speed seldom is accurate? Flown the 747 no problem there is verry acurate............any thing I do wrong or is the system on the 737NGX more real or...........
