PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hello! I've noticed that whenever I push the attendant call button, a high-tone chime is heard.The manual states that a two-tone chime should be heard. Is this a bug or is there something that I should be aware of?

I believe I saw somewhere where PMDG was going to release software in order for the GoFlight MCPPRO and flight modules to function with the 737NGX. Any word on when?

I'm not sure if this is a bug, but here goes. Anyways, I was selecting a new view from the FSX menu, then I accidently clicked on the top of the window (blue part for Windows 7). The window I'm talking about is the one which FSX runs in. This is not apart of the NGX. Once I clicked on it, the game crashed. Not sure if this is a NGX issue or a FSX issue. Seems to be some sort of focus thing. Edit: Just tried it with the 747-8i, and no crash. I also loaded it up at EDDF which is FPS heavy.

Hello guys, I have a question. I'd like to buy the cp flight's mcp and efis pro hardware......so does PMDG 737 NGX recognise them? Do I just need to connect them via USB and that's it or I need to assign commands? If so is fsuipc good to do it? Thank you.

For me Hotfix 2 was perfect. I complied with the mandatory upgrade to Hotfix 3 and the problems began. First display unit lock ups. Then a total loss of control of the autopilot. I am back to Hotfix 2 with no problems. Tired of adding liveries. Maybe Hotfix 4 will be better.

Hi all, I made a video of the PMDG NGX 737-800. Starting the flight on the ground in Turkey at Sabiha Gokcen airport (LTFJ).Pushing back the airplane and taxing to runway 06 for take-off. But ignore the crazy turkish ground vehicle its just kidding with me while I'm taxing :)Oke, sit back and watch the take-off. After take-off I will show you the airplane making some turns in wing view. After that I make anapproach and a landing at runway 06 Sabiha Gokcen. Sitting on the ground at KDEN last night (VATSIM -- FSInn), I could see a few traffic diamonds on EFIS MAP. Later in the flight at 36,000 cruise altitude, I had oncoming traffic pass directly above me +1,000 feet above (and not more than 3 nm lateral), but I never saw it on the EFIS MAP. I did see it coming from over 30 miles away on the FSInn radar and I got a visual up close. I am sure I had the transponder to TA/RA and also the traffic MCP button pressed (the blue TFC indicator and white ring dots were showing). I wonder why it never displayed on the MAP. I will have to try some more flights to see if I can replicate/solve.

This morning I got another order confirmation number email.It's the same confirmation number...actually it's the exact same email I got when I purchased on August 4th. Why was it sent to me again? I didn't request a duplicate order confirmation...

I am trying to insert the intersection of 2 vor radials as a custom waypoint in the FMC legs page. But, when I enter LAX250/SMO160 I get "NOT IN DATA BASE". How does one enter a course intersection waypoint in the NGX FMC? Thanks

Hi, I'm running version 1.00.2922 of the NGX.It's a minor issue, but I've observed that sometimes the turns and even more the climbs under autoflight are quite jerky, i. e. the control column and control wheel perform jerky movements. The aircraft does follow the commanded track and altitude as it should. It's just a matter of passenger comfort ;) Anyone else seen that?

I am after a map / diagram (with arrows or labels) of the overhead panels specifically on the NGX - does such a thing exist?

hello,when yo fly the ngx with random failures you need a quick look in the QRH. I dont have the printed version und scrolling down in the pdf while flying is sometimes very complicated. so what I did, I used the QRH pdf included in the ngx an made before every line in the several indexes a small grey field. if you click it it will bring you to your wished cecklist. if the checklist ends with "go to the XXX checklist" there is also a field to click.its perfect for use on a second computer or maybe I hope it works also on the ipad (can test it tonight when home from work). now the question: am I allowed to upload it here in the forum? or is there any way to share this file…

Last night I installed the latest hot-fix and have found that as well as improving the stability, several bugs have been squashed: The minimums radio altitude setting now defaults to 50ft instead of the 9,000 ft before. The CDU now accepts place bearing / place bearing custom waypoints (it wudn't before) Regards Fergus Cameron

I did a search thru the other autobrake problems to make sure that no one else posted this or found a solution and didn't see anything that describes the problem I am having. Here's the scenario when practicing some approaches and landings. Start of at KDFW runway 18R, load 1/3 fuel, set radio to ILS freq, set heading course in MCP, set 5 flaps, RTO, trim, FD on, no auto throttle and everything to be flown by hand, nothing done in FMC. Since the PMDG support portal is unusable for me now, again, I'm going to refer this report to here. I installed the Hotfix, and it seemed to take care of all of my panel freeze issues. BUT... MYYN-->KATL via JAVIS1.MAJUR RNAVYWR26L Just east of Florida the aircraft was s-turning pretty bad, so I decided to take over manually. To my surprise, the flight controls were completely unresponsive. The aircraft begin a bank to the left so I reengaged autopilot to take over. The gauges, as you can see, had frozen just after autopilot disconnect (via the soft disconnect command) The aircraft was completely unresponsive to the autopilot and this happened:

Hey everyone, While I was taxiing at LFPG, I experienced a freeze, twice.It both happened when I had the APU providing power to the aircraft with both engines running and engine generators off, both APU generators on.As I turned off the APU, I noticed I forgot to turn on the engine GENs, so I turned the ENG 1 GEN on (the aircraft had no power, because the APU was off) and the plane froze.I have bought the plane after the latest hot-fix, but installed it anyway.

I've only a problem with this plane: when i fly in multiplayer after about 5 mins the internet connection drop :( this happen only with PMDG 737 (i have also B747 PMDG but there are no problems).My configuration is Win 7, FSX sp.2, rex 2.0, ram 6mb and video memory 4mb.Other guys says to me about problem above.... Hi Captains, Greetings from sunny Portugal! Flying the NGX has been a pleasant experience so far and the hotfixes seem to have eliminated occasional freezes I experienced. There is an issue that still happens now and then and that is quite annoying: fsx completely pauses for several seconds (around 10) and then everything works again. If I ctrl+enter during the pause, I eventually get to my desktop and see a message displayed stating "Nvidia controller stopped responding and was restarted ". A google search on the subject pointed me to possible hardware issues (power and/or memory issues). My last attempt to address this was to underclock DRAM on the bios to 800Mhz (from …

This is not something that I think is a large enough issue for PMDG to worry about when they are working to get people flying. My experience so far has been great. I have had no CTD's or frame rate issues. Bird runs great with REX, UTX, UT2, and custom airports. However sometimes on approach, when work load is getting high, I will slow down the simulation rate to slowest while I get my charts together and get the FMC programmed for approach. If the AP is engaged in any mode, the plane will roll drastically. The roll will continue until the plane enters a dive and will not recover on its own. disengaging the auto pilot the roll stops and is recoverable. I have duplicated t…

i read the manual of 737 NGX about. there are some instructions how to optimize the file fs.cfg (graphics) but in my folder i can't find it. :(

just look at the time stamps of all the postings here! :D Something written 1,5 hours ago is on page no three and currently 214 obviously pretty active forum members here! :DPersonally I almost haven't had the time to fly here yet - I just sit there on the tarmac flipping switches and listening to the sounds. I've tried to make a few flights out of LOWI but haven't even left the valley yet - I always turn around to make the fantastic approach and to watch it in replay from the cabin. Amazing stuff! Best ever! Just think what their next airplane will be like! :D

Would somebody list the computer system reqm'ts necessary before I purchase the download such as:1. Make sure that your UAC is completely Off.2. Do you have Fsx sp2 installed.3. Turn your anti-virus software off.4. Make sure you have admin. rights.....etc..etc..etc My system is Dell XPS9100, 2.8ghz processor, Win7 Home edition, Radeon 5770 1 gig graphics, 9 gig of ram, 1.5 ter H.D.
