I'm having a hard time trying to edit contact points in order to make NGX landings more realistic.*This is a real landing: *What I see is that NGX strut compression and bouncing are far from realistic. NGX struts compress very little compared to reality. This is a "bug" I see in almost all "Microsoft FS" aircrafts.*Does anybody know whether is there a way PMDG could make NGX "strut dynamics" more realistic? Teo Halfen

Hi All, PMDG... I have flown several flights, feeling my way through operating the NGX, and thought I would share some random musings. There is a weird feeling I get when I fly this. I dont know, I cant describe it, and I cant put my finger on it. Its when you finish your flight and you just smile. You dont know why you are smiling, it just makes you happy. I dont have a great PC for FSX. I have a laptop, and at default scenery I can get high teens in the VC. This statement is mind blowing in itself. PMDG support, I´ve seen a bug in the First Officer PFD ( efis/map display).When flying at night with some cockpit lights on I have seen that some AP signs displayed in PFD are cuted, some of this signs doesn´t appear. Please, try to discover that and put it on a new hotfix. Also I cant see the rudder pedals braking. there is any solution?

After installing the hotfix, fsuipc lost connection with fsx. I noticed because none of my flightcontrols were working after install of hotfix. I use fsuipc for my yoke and pedals. I needed to reinstall it to get it to work again.

I've had no problem with this aircraft until today. I unsitalled the liveries as instructed installed the hotfix (no issues). restarted my computer and now I CTD when I choose the NGX in the free flight screen. Hello, it would not be possible to create the 737NGX gauges that could be networked as well as the Project Magenta.If it were possible to have the gauges executable files running through all our problems would be solved. Regards,

As the title suggests, after installing Hotfix 3, I am unable to display the SYS page on the lower DU when having ENG side-by-side enabled. Displays normally when ENG side-by-side is disabled. I have only tried this on the 800WL (House livery). I haven't checked if this is true on the other models/liveries. Has anyone else observed this too?

Hello Sorry if this is a dumb question, is it possible to track direct to a navaid without programming the FMC im just curious as I was practicing some go arounds and was trying to work out how to do this, I suppose the only way to do this rather than manually flying to the aid would but to put into the legs page and execute, many thanks Wayne

How do I get the Saitek Pro Panels to work ? They are fine on the OEM 737 but not communicating with NGX.

I just installed the 15AUG11 hotfix and now when I load the 737 I have to re-activate the NGX. I have actually installed and activated it twice already with no glitches but now the patch seems to have de-activated the product and if the activation window doesn't crash FSX, it won't accept the code. It bugs me because I had a WORKING NGX and now I don't, apparently from the hotfix...

I'm getting conflicting info on the subject. I've been running with no page file for a long time without ever having any sort of problem, but I've seen people say 4gb of RAM is too small to not have one. So, do I need it? Do I set it to system managed or enter a custom value? Thanks.

Hey PMDG guys! I was just testing a few things out in the airplane and randomly loaded up the United 900WL and turned on some of the lights when this showed up:I tried a few of the liveries but only the United is showing up wrong and only during night.Take care!

Have PMDG stopped designing aircraft, where the cockpit door opens, and you can walk up and down the virtual cabin?You could do this with F1 mouse scroll and Active cam. And walk and follow was another module. I remeber with the 747, there were lots of little quirky things like flight manuals that moved around. If you moved the mouse over them. I guess it dosn't really add much to the the simulation, which is what the software is really for. But you know, sometimes you get bored at FL350 and you want to have a walk around the cabin.

If I use the 2 Class does it add the extra fuel tanks to give it more range? Seems the 2 class config can do this.

Hi, I have a problem with the fuel pumps. When i turn off Center Tank Fuel Pumps, the left engine keeps using the fuel from the center tank, but the right engine is using the fuel in the right main tank. My other question is,the Center Tank Fuel Pump Low Pressure lights do not illuminate, even the fuel quantity is less than 500 lbs. They illuminate only, if no fuel remains in the center tank. Am i doing something wrong ? CheersKaan

I wouldn't be surprised if PMDG have stopped reading most of these posts and are just quietly getting on with the job of putting SP1 together. If they read the posts on here they wouldn't know if they were coming or going, Arthur or Martha, which they were turnimng - or whatever they equivalent saying is in your language. I think we all get it by now - some of us have perfect operation (I even get an extra 3-5 FPS after Hotfix 3) and some of us are having problems. I really do believe that most of you who are having problems have setup issues - try running the stock Cessna first - an old solution but a goodie none the less. Hello, Many of the STARS in the U.K. end in a holding pattern to await vectors from ATC to the approach. At the end of the STAR LNAV disengaged due to route discontinuity. I knew this would happen and switched to heading hold and vectored myself onto the approach, however when I tried to re-engage LNAV it does not engage, heading hold stayed on and the FMC said "Route Discontinuity" in the scratchpad. I had set my heading to pass directly over the first way point on the approach, that way point was highlighted in magenta in the "Route" page, and the angle between my heading and the heading after the way point was very small.
