Dear PMDG Purchased and downloaded the PMDG 737 NGX last night. A quick flight from EGFF to EGPF conducted, didn't look at the tutorial once. All pretty intuitive (one Boeing is much like another). One comment to make AWESOME Thank you very much. The PMDG Stable is now , B747, MD11, JS4100 and B737NGX. PMDG check it. Dome light doesnt work with HotFix.

I installed first the Hotfix1 and then Hotfix2.I noticed this thing, after installing the hotfix1 this was changed to --> Current with Build: 1.00.2904 Thanks in advance for your time. Hi all. First i want to say that i was one of the ones who had activation ishues. but after reinstall of FS and ngx. no probs what so ever. So now that i have the keys to this wonderful plane, im looking at the manual, trying to figure out how to plan the trip. Im browsing the tabels in manual vol.1 for the 738. And im looking at the long range cruise and fuel table, and the info on the subject at PI.26.6. Now i think i understand the use of the tabels, but what is this Check point? Is this the time stated in the "Reference Fuel and Time Required" table or some other point/fix? Christer

Over the past 2 or 3 days the No 2 (F/O) FMS CDU has failed twice (blank screen), when loading a saved flight. As I only use the 'Service Based Failures' I assumed it was that causing the failure so I selected CLR ACTIVE in the Failures menu option but it stayed blank. I think it only came back when I removed my livery pack to install the 15th Hot Fix. Today while flying a short 50 min trip from Gatwick to Jersey it started out working but by the time I arrived on stand I noticed it was blank again. Now after installing the 16th Hot Fix I loaded the previously saved Jersey flight and its still blank ? What am I missing here ?? (besides the No 2 CDU ) Glen

I have done all what is possible and discribed in this forum but stll the LM will NOT install the liverys I have download. Come on PMDG problems enough if I look here specially for the LM.And still there is NOT giving a solution for this problemand I like to fly in liverys I like.Paid enough for this bird so give me a solution !!!! I'm sorry and I know this is the wrong forum, but please cope with me, this is the most active forum I'm in a nutshell, PLEASE HELP.I have to decide out of two processors, I have $700US as of now, I need to know if I should use it all on the Core i5 2500k, or can I go for the cheaper Core i3 540 :(I know the Core i5 is Better, but what type of technological gap (Performance) are we looking at? An extra 2FPS?Is the i3 overclockable? Is it worth it, because I'm in a deadly position, I don't want to waste all my money for an extra 2FPS.How far can I overclock the Core i5 with stock FAN?

After installing Hot-fix,when starting FSX the game starts in the second monitor,where before it started in the primary first monitor.Any idea how to fix this?? Edward De MedtsBelgium

Hi: When I bought the NGX the night it got release I was really dissapointed in terms of my FPS. I was getting like 10 on 2d and 6 in vc even with the ******* fix and FPS limiter when with my PMDGs 747 and MD-11 I was getting great FPS. After downloading the new hotfix, the NGX is a new bird, sustain 30fps on 2d and 21 to 24 in vc. Could that mean I was suffering from the freeze most were complaining instead of having an FPS problem or you guys did something to better FPS too in this hotfix?By the way, thanks for this new hotfix, now I can really enjoy my NGX.

Hi guys, i have had zero problems with the aircraft, is there anything i will lose from this update. Livery's , will they be wiped out ? Frame rates will my good frames be lost ? Don't get me wrong, i think all fixes are great and PMDG has done a fine job reacting to various issues. But do i really need this if i am having no problems. Cheers all.

For some reason this won't let me install the hotfix say's i don't have ngx installed. ummmmm strange because i do i was flying this morning. Anyone else shed anything on this .

Hi guys, There was a thread listing operators with HUGS, but I can't seem to find it I was also wondering, are all 737 fitted with HUGS CATIII certified, or do they need fail operational autopilots etc? Thanks

Ok guys running out of things to try - automation .dll - fsx.cfg - video driver - anti virus off anyway can not go to windowed mode or full screen mode without fsx crashing any ideas I would luv to hear them, as you can see my system should not be having this problem, also new patch seems pretty good guys, appreciate all you do.

Hello, I would like to see how the NGX look like with shokewave lights. I have tried to add it myself to the light secrion but the typical light section in the aircraft.cfg is missing. Did anyone already try to add it?

Hello all NGX operators/owners Two questions before I buy: 1. Can you see the runway at MLW (max landing weight) and regular approach speed? I am a 2D flyer and many sim planes seem to suffer from this, abviously not an issue in real life. 2. Is the stab trim animated? This too, even though it is trivial, some sim airplanes depict this and some don't, even from same releases/families of aircraft Thank you for your time in advance,John

Since the last topic got closed with no answers given, this question is stated to the PMDG team as a simple yes/no question. The intention is to get closure and so that 2D panel users can move on. Therfore i ask of you, avsim members, not to start bickering so this thread gets closed too and to respect whatever decision PMDG makes..Will there be a 2D TQ panel for the NGX at some point in the future?

just a few pics of yet another great flight with the ngx. from lowi to eddm rwy26R. weather in innsbruck still rather nice but then overcast in munich, could use the hgs first time and manually fly her down. well, i know. still lots to learn as you can see from the pics. came in too low and too far left, had to adjust quite a bit to hit the rwy (and avoid the other airplane on approach for rwy26L ). also, A/T did not disengage correctly (hey, possibly I just forgot it) and hence I came in little fast and had to cut speed rather fast.

I realise that you're all busy trying to sort out some intial problems, but my first comment would be that I really miss a Throttle quadrant in the drop-down panels for the 2D cockpit. I've only done few flight but starting from Cold and Dark and having to go into the VC panel to add the fuel, is such a pain! Not being able to have a quick look at the rest of the quadrant settings to make sure everything is selected at variious stages of a flight, is the same. Can you all consider adding this again? In a lot of post with problems, I want to post this. since the first day, I use my NGX without anny problems...Just a break between Chines to load. Yesterday, I've maked 4 flights for a total of 11 houres +/- in flight...I make a world tour... Actually more of 40H without any probs For my 2 first flight, KSFO-KSEA and return, with all ORBX scenry, and no probs... May be I'm...
