PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Great job on this plane. I noticed in the vc the clickspot that moves the HUD projector on the roof up and down. When I click on it it moves up and stows away yet there is still an image in the HUD window. Unless I'm wrong and that's something different. It would be fun to find something wrong with this thing....Eric W.

What does it do and how does it work? I want to know so I can consider activating it or not.

Hi All Help needed!! I have "lost" the tutorial flight due no doubt to my changing the setting to start "dark and cold" in error. Now of course I can set up at EGKK but without engines running, I have yet to successfully start up from that position. Is there any way that tutorial position, sitting at EGKK RW08 with engines running can be recovered? Thanks John

Hi guys I'm hoping this is a quick fix or something I'm doing wrong - I can't seem to get the a/c to reach cruise altitude. My past flights have been roughly 50% load with approx 50% fuel so we're way under MTOW. I set up everything correctly (as far as I know) and the a/c climbs on A/P nicely however when it gets to around FL210 or thereabouts, it slows to about 400 fpm and UNABLE CRZ ALT or something comes up. Any ideas?

I bought a 737 from PMDG installed and never had a problem. Today I instaled the hotfix 2916 and got surprised, the airplane stopped working and the software asked for a license and when I type my license it says its not a valid. What should I do? I was trying to do a few touch and goes at CYYZ runway 23 and noticed on final appr that the ILS is not aligned correctly? I have the ILS for 23 set as 111.50 and the CRS set as 237 but land about 5ft left of the runway? I have updated the magvar as per the thread in the General Forum. Is this a known prob with FSX and runway 23? thanks, Matt Henry

Hey, sometimes I am getting the famouse blue screen. I made a search in the forum and I found out that its realted to overclock of the CPU, but I did not overclock my CPU. So what is the problem. It happend after installing the first hot fix. I didnt test it with the second. My system:CPU : Intel E8400 3.00 GHzGPU: nVidia GeForce 9600GT 512MB4GB Ram.

Guys, let us be honest ... PMDG did realy great job and created fantastic plane ... but unfortunately it's very fresh due to many bugs ... Personally I have good hardware and don't have a lot of other soft on board but: cdu freeze, wrong airac, shut down issue, activation, livery etc, crushes, OOM, CTD ... I belive the pro team can solve it, but till it happens i revert to md-11 ( Good luck!

Still locking up, although the lock was resettable, it was almost too ugly to fly.I was upset. And from testing a number of complex add-ons the previous weekend, I had seen the problem there too.Not right. Here's what I did... step by step. Let's see where this goes. Not wanting to re-install my Liveries and thinking that the possible changes would be to the AIRCRAFT.CFG files, I... Copied all of the NGX's from SimObjects/Airplanes to my empty Drive E: Then I copied and renamed all the aircraft.cfg files with the prefix "BEFORE_HOTFIX_" I left the original aircraft.cfg files intact Then I installed today's Hotfix Sure 'nuff... the liveries are gone after the HotFix Comparing the [LIGHTS] section of the aircraft.cfg files from the "BEFORE_HOTFIX" to the "POST_HOTFIX" Hopefully I haven't missed any other edits. I have done a few changes to the system and would like to give you some indication on my FPS Standing at the airport in 2 d i have approx 42 FPSStanding at the airport in 3 d I have approx 27 FPS But now the interseting thing If i undock just one unit lets say the FMCI drop down to 9 FPS in 2 D and even down to 5 FPS if i open 4 undocked windows Hmmmmm? As you can see from the above shots I have got a few problems after the latest hotfix. I removed the liveries and installed the first hotfix and everything was fine. Flew for a few days all fine. Removed the liveries again and installed the latest hot fix and I now have a rolling aircraft and MFD's that either black out or freeze. Both work when clicked on. Also the lower lights don't work either if you check the position of the switches next to the left CDU Think i'll remove the NGX and re install with just the first hotfix....... Yesterday I was fully established on the ILS for RWY 28R at KSFo when suddenly the terrain warning came up ('TERRAIN' - ' PULL UP'). As most of you sure know, the ILS glidepath is directly over water, but when checking the EFIS it showed a huge red block directly between me and the runway.Now as I'm using FS Global 2010 I think this might be some kind of bug there (don't think that PMDG can do anything about this), is maybe someone able to reproduce this?Best Regards

I just completed printing ALL of the documentation that is delivered with the PMDG 737-NGX. This includes the Introduction & Use, Tutorial One, Quick Reference Handbook, The Flight Crew Training Manual, and both Volumes of the Flight Crew Operations Manual.
