PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hi Guys, I am an old supporter of PMDG and started buying their simulations more then 10 years ago. The NGX is a great product although I had to tweak my system significantly to get an enjoyable experience - not complaining! I do however struggle to get the autopilot to capture glideslope during an approach (Single channel). Settled at 3000ft ALT HOLD on and loc captured (still below glide slope - not off the stops yet). On pressing APP the GS annunctiation does not illuminate on PFD (no arm of glideslope capture). On flying through the glideslope the autopilot goes into CWS without glideslope capture, subsequently I fly the approach mannually with autothrottle engaged. A…

is company uplink/downlink fetaure implemented?

Is it just me? ....for example: FCOM #2 ... 7.20.10 Engine Fuel & Oil Schematic ...there is no black background so the light gray lines don't show up very well on my screen. Look at 7.20.13 ...that schematic has a black background and thus is readable. Anyone else have this? .....I can upload a screen shot if needed. Thanks

I wonder why all seats and interior for the cabin are modelled for the external model when it´s not for the VC model. Loading the 737 NGX in external view I briefly see the "skeleton" with all passenger seats.In internal view (VC view) moving back inorder to get into the cabin I get outside the aircraft instead and can see the cockpit "Box" with the PMDG logo - but not the cabin with seats. I don´t care about the cabin - the cockpit is sufficient for me to have modelled - also because that helps FPS. I just wonder why all the seats has been modelled in the external model where You hardly can see the seats anyway.This requires alot of Polygons and extra textures, which eat…

If I'm sitting on the ground with the APU running for a while, is it "proper" to run two AC pumps, from both the left and the right tanks? I notice it works just fine to prevent potentially having to deal with a fuel imbalance later. There's no fuel config warnings in the cockpit or anything about it, and nothing I could find in the FCOM tells me NOT to do this, but it doesn't tell me TO do it either. I guess I'm wondering, is that something that ever happens in the RW?

Greetings all, I just took off on a flight, however I'm having problems getting the AP to work. Both FDs and the AT are on, and the LNAV/VNAV are engaged. I don't have a yoke/joystick at this time, so that's not the issue. Here's a screenshot, perhaps someone can help. Many thanks.

I have to say THANK YOU! The whole PMDG-Team did a great job. Your product is state of the art - no its better it sets a new standard in Add-On developement for FSX. Even if there are some things, that need to be fixed, i am very satisfied with the new 737. Everybody who developes software knows, that it is almost impossible to sort out all things in advance. But you are doing a great job with your support here and try to fix everything as fast as you can. Sitting in the vc of this plane combined with trackir gives me the perfect illusion of flying an airplane. You can almost smell the fuel:). The atmosphere is so great. Hi Guys: Went out for a short flight to check out my new work of art but, also loaded hotfix fresh defrag anyway got a crash and a message (feature requires smartassembly) noticed before crash only 5 min into flight I cant change things in fsx once airborne like weather display settings, it just freezes have all tweaks, happens in windowed or full screen, also it does happen with 747 too so not sure whats going on, this machine is only fsx dedicated no other crap on it, not running aes or any other weather programs just rex textures, using frame limiter and ******* cfg. any help would be appreciated on this one.

Hi All, Perhaps you guys can help me with this very big, and serious, problem. My computer is unexpectedly shutting down about 15 minutes into using the NGX. When I say shut down, I mean 1 second I'm staring at the cockpit, and the next second the computer is completely off. There is no reboot. When I do reboot the computer, it displays the "windows has not shut down properly" screen. This is the only program that it is happening to...meaning the NGX. I have also noticed that it is only happening while flying at night. Well today i purchased the pmdg 737, what a plane, great job guys, I know will have bugs ut will try to stay patient. Anyway today I was having troubles activing check the web and saw a litlle clue, you might want to try it but you haveto be awfully quick. befire that tried copy and paste of license # no way, even tried to write it in, would erase the letters or numbers right away. So here we go ready to activate, you got to be fast on this one, i pressed ctrl and v and bingo activation, might take you a few times but it works!!!!!! licensens number comes in and ready to fly. Personally like to say PMDG thank you for give us al a beautiful craft, gotta hits those …

Hi All I was getting lockups after about every 10-20 minutes didn't matter what I was doing in the plane, as soon as I removed the tweak relating to buffer pools not one lockup or crash to desktop since RegardsWayne

Good afternoon, In the last few days, after few test on yours excellent 737NGX during take off.... I discovered a strange process during T/O that create a discrepancy between MCP speed and speed BUG on ASI of exactly 20 KTS. As explained into the manual (FCOM 2 - 4.20.13 - Page 223): • MCP IAS/Mach display and airspeed cursor change to V2 + 20 knots but during my takeoffs, only the magenta speed bug on PFD increse of 20 KTS (V2+20), the MCP speed remain at V2. When at "acceleration height" I check the speed in order to increse it to the Flaps UP speed, I discover the A near the flashing speed that was still at V2. Hello all I was taking some screenshot with the PMDG 737NGX when I compared them to other user's on this forum when I notinced that my displays are a bit darker. For example, I thought my terrain display had the correct colours, but it turns out that the amber colour doesn't look that light and the red is too red. Is that normal or is my monitor having colour troubles? I just calibrated it with a Spyder 3. What colour temperatures are you all using and what brightness adjustment on the NGX knobs are you guys setting for the ND?Thanks!

Ok guys hate to tell you this but the black screens or crashing while doing menu tasks or going to windowed mode is the ENB Series I hated to go down that road but sorry folks ENB does not get along with ENB we need a better version of this or maybe even some payware REX hint hint, I took it out and no problems at all, I miss it big time but hope that can be replaced with a bug free substitute, so anyone who does no believe me try it dump it problems gone, hope this can help anyone experiencing this, any ideas on a version that works with the NGX I am all ears.
