Hello, I flew from KTPA to TNCM the other day and I noticed when I selected a departure runway in the CDU at Tampa the choices where runway 01/19 ??, it should be 36/18, then when I selected an arrival at TNCM it gave me runway 10/28 ??, should be 9/27. Anyone have an idea?

Anyone knows how to correct the touchdown attitude on the NGX?? Even on Autoland have noticed it holds about 2 to 2.5 degrees on flare. In reality this would be a nice hard landing! With flaps 30, we hold approx 2 degrees on approach so obviously if i hold that on touchdown, there had been no flare. Why cant it be similar to the FS9 737NG which had basically the correct attitude shown on the PFD. The correct attitude should be around 5 degrees (on the PFD). Can this be fixed??

I seem to be having an issue with reloading my saved flights. Once the flight is reloaded the CDU asks me to activate the flight plan, which I do, then line select the next active waypoint, which I do. This sets up my LNAV. Now the cruise altitude also has to be re-entered for the VNAV to reset, so I do this and line select it into the proper place. Now, upon pressing execute for the CRZ Alt. FSX freezes. I just installed the latest Fix that was posted here. I, however, am not sure that it worked as FSX still maintained all my Liveries that i had installed for the 737 NGX and in the read me it said installing the fix would delete all of them, which it didn't. I've had two CTD flying the same route in the NGX. LAS-SEA Both times crash happened just past TOD. HELP! I thought this had been resolved days ago. I needed to restore my VISTA 64 to a date before I had installed 737NGX. When I completed this (to remove an upgrade driver that was producing errors) it necessitated that I re-install 737NGX. When I first purchased and downloaded on 8/6 I received E-mail with purchase code and license #. When I installed and began using the program it never asked me for license information. NOW when I tried to use the plane after my new install, I got the same problem stated in the activation thread dated 8/13. Why have PMDG not implemented the NG's auto tuning capability for VOR 1 and 2? The introduction manual says this is not available in in the aircraft its message from the beta testers. The real aircraft is certainly capable of autotuning a VOR from the FMS. There is no auto/manual switch on the VHF NAV control head, unlike the 737 Classic, but in the NG this is handled automatically. The FMC NAV STATUS page shows an M by the frequency to indicate manual tuning, but with a route activated this never changes to an A to show auto-tuning. Hello,Currently I'm in a new way of flightplanning. At the moment I'm using vRoute, and rfinder.asalink.net/freeI want to create a .rte file for coroute for in the FMC. But when I want to do that in vRoute, I will need the premium version. As I don't want to pay for that I use FSBuild 2.3. I simply paste the vRoute flightplan in FSBuild. Then I set Export to... to "MSFS PMDG". Then I click BUILD. But then I get an error message saying: "Unable to create PMDG/FLIGHTPLANS/(flightplan).rte". So I checked the PMDG folder, and I do have the FLIGHTPLANS folder in there. So what am I doing wrong and why doesn't it want to create a flightplan for me?Thanks in advance,Arjen Vander…

Hi everyone, I am very satisfied of this great plane until now, as far as I could experience it on many flights.Just a little problem, concerning my joystick Saitek X52 on which I 'd like to associate the button n°2 to the cmd A on the MCP.I have well made the association trought FSX menu and it works on the other planes (basics or addons).But with 737NGX nothing happen when I pres the n°2 joystick button.Did I miss something ? Hello everyone, as the title says, I have two questions after buying the NGX last night (no FPS issues though, even my crappy laptop can run it smoothly! ) First, do I need to apply the hotfix if I bought it on August 21st? Is the hotfix already built in? Second, I have noticed that some of the text on the labels for various switches seem blurry when I am at the default head position and zoomed out. Is there any way to make this sharper? More specifically, using the "Main panel DUs" label as an example, it is very sharp around 1.00 zoom, a little blurry around 0.6, and completely out of focus and unreadable at 0.3. Thanks in advance

For you who use ShortAircraftNameOK.I noticed that the Title in aircraft.cfg start with the word Boeing except for 737-800NGX WL where it start with the word PMDG. I trust that there is no particular reason for this and that it is safe to change to Boeing in order to get the same settings for AXIS, BUTTONS, KEYS and CALIBRATION in FSUIPC.Cheers,Bert

Hi all Figured I'd report a relatively minor bug I discovered by mistake on my last flight. It's not a huge issue, but it'd be nice to see it fixed, nonetheless. After preparing for a flight in my NGX, I set up a pushback through the CDU. If I remember correctly, the distance was ~130 feet, and I had a 90-degree nose-left turn configured. I started the pushback, released the brakes when prompted, and the pushback commenced just fine. During pushback, I accidentally bumped the brake button once very briefly. Not surprisingly, the pushback was automatically cancelled, with the relevant audio clips being played telling me to set the parking brake, etc. The strange thing was,…

Hi, (This might be a bit off topic, but theres a lot of experience floating around here :) - apologies) I have just started using Vatsim again.I just fresh installed fsinn and copilot and every time I connect to vatsim another plane pops into my current plane. Has any one come across this before and is there a fix for it? (the BA plane sat on top of my Transavia selected plane.)

Wanted to throw this out there to see if anyone else has any problems using Radar Contact 4 and the 737NGX. I will occasionally use RC4 when not on VATSIM for ATC. However, every time I load it with the 738-WL it causes irreparable graphic distortion in FSX. RC4 works fine with other aircraft. Anyone else having this situation before I start a file for the programmers?

Hi guys , before i posted this i did a search but couldn't find anything . Today i made 2 flights from eheh to lepa and the return trip .On final approach i used the hud , papi lights were visible , but they suddenly disappeared in the hud .When i clicked the hud back up the papa lights were back , clicking the hud back down removed the lights again , so i couldn't see the papi through the hud . I noticed that after installing the new hotfix after takeoff the speed bug does not automatically go from V2 to V2+20 like it did before the hotfix. Am I missing something or was that not correct in terms of the actual aircraft. It will go V2+20 after 400' with VNAV armed prior to TO but without VNAV armed it stays at V2 until I reach accel height then hit LVL CHG to bug flaps up speed.

Mini Tutorial I am looking for a by - the - book (FCOM) startup from Cold and Dark to Ready for taxi or takeoff for the PMDG 737NGX. Please - no responses stating "Read the the f...ing manual." What I am seeking is what is actually being performed, lots of options in the printed manuals. The sequences around engine start is most keenest interest today. I have found that if I load the NGX through the free flight menu I get much better frame rates,its much smoother and the stability is absolutely rock solid. If I load from a previously saved situation, I get much lower frame rates, its much more proneto stutters and the stability of the sim is such that I haven't managed to do back to back flights successfully once. Loading through the free flight menu I have managed 7 flights back to back without having to restart fsx once.The frame rates were consistent throughout and the stability of the sim was flawless - I did lateral offsets,used all types of custom waypoints etc - nothing caused NGX to crash or freeze.
