    Can anyone tell me why this message shows up when I switch to VOR mode?Both sides are set to Nav 1 and the loc is tuned and heard. Sorry if the picture is a little small, but the yellow warning is my concern. Any help or ideas would be apprectiated.. Andy

  2. Hello forum friends!I wonder if It is possible to leave as the default every time you start the simulator with the NGX enabled COLD & DARK? I say this because I always start my operations in this style, since it cold and dark.Every time we have to start the simulation he shows the aircraft with engines running and systems connected!, Then we have to go in and set the option FMC cold and dark. We have to leave this option as a default?I count on your help!Kinds Regards!

    Hi community, my only problem gladly is the 'AUTO' function and even sometimes the manual adjustment of the temperature control zones are often hard to control to keep a comfortable temp. More so my question is in regards to AUTO temp control. Right now on my flight from KDFW to KFLL the FWD and AFT cabins are at 40C while to cockpit hit 60C as I work my way to FL380! While on the ground at DFW with 38/39C (100F) outside temps was a nice inside summer temp of 20 to 23C with packs on AUTO. Now in flight on the way up to cruse even with the PACK on moved to HIGH I often find the temps are again very hot. However I'm not reviving any ZONE TEMP indications and the temps withi…

    I have never had this problem before. I have an I7 Intel 980X computer with really good specs. The download rate shows 2MB a sec. But the download quits anywhere from 4% to 21% completed. It just freezes. I have tried turning off the firewall and any other security measures that I can think of. I have retried and retried to download the program with no success. I have also tried using Explore and FireFox. Anyone got any suggestions. And I reiterate - I have never had a download freeze like this before.     In the portion of my flight where I am approach the Initial Approach Fix, usually descending between 6000 to 3000 feet or so, and less than 250 knots,, prob in HDG hold and Level Change, autothrottle , I suddenly start getting a fluctuating speed, the speed jumps between,,say 240 and 270, the wind noise changes in sync, prob changing about every second. A bit lower the effect goes away as quickly as it started. It seems to be a bug of sorts. I am using ASE. Does this happen to anyone else?

    I never had any CTD before installing the latest hot fix I was on final going to KBUR and the sim froze and then I had CTD and here is my log. I've had NGX since day ine and never experianced any problemtill after I insatlle this fix. i7 920 4.2480 GTX12 gig of DDR3 1600FSX installed on a secondary harddrive.     Hi, I've noticed several times something about brake temp, that either is normal behaviour that I don't understand, or a minor bug. When landing, even with auto brake set to max (carbon or steel), the brake temperature does not increase immediatly when breaking. It's still at zero until vacating the runway. If I did read well the explanation in this forum, 0 means that the temperature is at a normal operating temp. While taxiing, the value increases above zero (sometimes 3 or 4+), so the question is: why does the brake temp increases while taxiing, as the strongest use of brake is over for minutes ?     Hi, I applied the latest hotfix today and noticed that during replays the panel instruments freeze.As soon as I hit esc and unpause the sim everything is ok again. is it supposed to be like this ? thanks Vic

    It's been about a week now and we have not had much more information as to when we might receive SP1?From the many posts that seem to relate to bugs and other issues like activation I can understand why some people are a little upset or frustrated.Would PMDG not have some kind of work around for the activation for those who are having issues? I have been lucky I guess as I was only effected by the panel freeze which was fixed in the first patch. After the second hot-fix all was still fine.However after the third hot-fix the Sim does seem to be acting a little odd. But what is the CLB do?3. And what to put in the "Sel/Dat"? I read that if 30C out set it to 36C to lur the engine to get more power?     Today I flew back from my holiday (Zakynthos - Amsterdam) with Transavia. I gave the captain a paper with some PMDG settings and he changed the things that weren't correct. * He said that Transavia doesn't use VREF + 20knts bug but a VREF + 15knts bug. Maybe an idea to implant it in a futher update? * At the TCAS settings in the CDU you can put the TCAS range. The captain told me, but he wasn't very sure, that the TCAS range was 80nm. So I tried to change that. but I got the message "Invalid Entry" .     Hey all. Here is another demo video. First it starts off by demonstrating a NADP2 departure. The second part is to show you that you do not really need speedbrakes to get back in the game. The third part is demonstrating the autobrake and how well PMDG simulated it and its accuracy. If you take a look at the deceleration distance formula: 1/2 X (speed in feet per second) X (time to decelerate to 0). So in my case my Vref speed is 142 which is a 240 feet per minute rate of speed. The autobrake 3 setting decelerates the 737 at a rate of 7 feet per second. So the time to decelerate to 0 is approximately 34 seconds. So.... 1/2 X 240 X 34 = 4080 feet. So as soon as the wheels …

  16. When i got the NGX on the 4th off Aug i could not get the thing activated for a week. I had a problem with my PC so I had to re-install windows and what do you know...... no activation window is showing up agian. Im sorry but this is a joke its been almost 3 weeks since release and its still not sorted and PMDG is keeping us in the Dark.     The digits on the Honeywell MCP are white when they should be orange and no I'm not mistaken,I know the difference between the honeywell and collins. Also the background of the MCP windows need to be a little lighter in colour. If the team could make these improvements for the SP, I'll appreciate it.

Just downloaded this exelent fuel planner for 737 http://www.volny.cz/...FPL/B737FPL.htm , but when im setting in the last one "COF" contingency fuel in KG how much here, say if I want 2 hours of flight how much do the 737-800 burn in the hour, lets say in general. Any one can give me fuel burn pr. min thx :D And by the way, is COF the same as reserv fuel in this calculation?

    I recently installed hotfix 3, and as such had to reinstall my liveries. Before I did any of this I had the original ngx install, and the AAL livery had the brake temp page when I selected the sys button. Now, I only see some information about the hydraulics and no information about the brake temps when I press the sys button. Is this simply a customer option, or did my livery install incorrectly?

    I have installed the latest hotfix and once again the aircraft froze. I was making a turn when the aircraft stayed stuck in that position..I could not control the plane yet it was still moving and the simulator was still running.. This was on final approach so it was frustrating when I took an unexpected dive into the ground.
