Last night as I sat at the gate in Copenhagen getting ready for a quick flight to Oslo I kept getting APU "low pressure" light followed by "failure" light. No biggie, I read the QRH and it said shut it off, wait five min and if the light goes off (it did), try a restart. Did that and had same failure. So I went into the FMC and cleared the failure, did the maintenance on it but it still would do the same thing no matter how many times I cleared the failures via the FMC. Question is why? Can you not clear failures with any systems on? I have about 20 hours in the NGX and never seen this before where a failure once cleared via the FMC would continuously pop back up.

I was getting out of memery shutdowns and redownloaded the installer with all the hotfixes. Since I reinstalled the 737, it freezes on approach just as I land at KDFW (FSdreamteam). I thought the hotfixes were supposed to fix the freezes. I only have the 747 and 737 installed in FSX and KDFW is the only scenery! I have a minimal system for FSX, but I was getting 20FPS inflight! NO controls for any functions will have any effect on the aircraft and it crashes! I forgot, I just installed airoc cycle 1108 and the freezes started!

Hi everyone, so whenever i've single engine taxied, i've always used the #2 engine. I use the apu to supply the left pack, and the rt engine to supply the rt. I always find myself using a ton of thrust to get the 73 moving and i'm pretty sure its canceling out any fuel efficiency gains i should be attaining. so what advice do you guys have? What's the max fuel i should have on board during a single engine taxi? Thanks,Mitch Bowman

Hi,I have just installed the new livery-manager and have now a big problem. I tried to install the Amercian Airlines livery for the 737-800WL. After that , I have no 737-800WL in the livery manager to choose (on the left side under Installed Aircraft Variants). All others are still there. When starting FSX, I can choose all 737-800WL's; but with the gear down (in the preview window of fsx). When starting a flight, The 737-800WL's all have gear up and so I am supposed to crash. (All other variants work fine). Is there a solution beside reinstalling the whole NGX? ThanksNiclas

Hello PMDG. I had been flying for quite sometime and coming into land at NZWN at around 2 to 400 feet my mouse stopped working in the 3d cockpit. I could not disengage the auto throttle or anything. Had been great right up until then. I was flying the Virgin Blue with the tail sock. Please can you patch this in the livery. Cheers

hey i just bought the pmdg 737 ngx for fsx, and i am expericing some wierd problems with it i take off properly but whne i am descending and about to land the plane doesnt allow me to click on this buttion cant chnage the views the throttle doesnt work, i tried two times. but same problem, did anybody experience this? is there way to fix this problem also.

Greetings all,I was attempting to set up a flight, and decided to try the "cold and dark" scenario. I got thru most of the items (I have a few questions I'll leave for a later date). However, a few strange things happened that I can't figure out. First, the yaw damper light wouldnt extinguish after I turned the YD on. Also, after programming the FMC, I couldnt get the route to appear on the ND, either in MAP mode or PLAN mode. I attached a few screen shots, I'm sure this is a simple error.

Hi, Just bought the NGX and I have a problem with mouse in Virtual cockpit. When I loaded the plane first time, everything was working fine. However, now I can't use mouse in the VC to click on any switches or anything. Even the cursor does not change when it's over a switch.It's working fine in 2D. I have tried to switch to different plane (from 737-800 to 737-900) and sometimes the mouse will start working and sometimes it will not. More often it will not. Please, help. Dmitry Buga.

I see the cycle 11-09 is available on Navigraph. Two quick questions: 1. Is the "PMDG (all products) the correct download file for updating NGX? 2. Is the NGX procedure format the same as the older format. In other words, can one use the old NG procedure's guides to update, change, or develop new procedures for the NGX FMC? Thanks! I tried a flight on VATSIM with the NGX today and I noticed some problems with the communication between the two or rather lack thereof. I was expecting the NGX transponder to change the status of the SB transponder as well, but this didn't seem to be the case. Doesn't the NGX transponder set the appropriate offset flags for SB to pick up? Also it seems there were some issues with COM2. If I set a freq on COM1, SB detected it as it should and connected me to the appropriate channel, but if I did the same on COM2 or COM3 nothing happened even though SB supports dual COMs.

Firstly, let it be known that I have not yet applied any hot fixes. I have been flying to see what hiccups i encounter first. I was performing a few touch and go's at LPMA and was fighting a crosswind landing into runway 05. I had the left rudder slightly kicked and then just before flaring I lost the track due to a wind gust so I decided to perform a go around, and voila - the panel froze and I had input from the yoke or rudder pedals available, however I still had power lever control, so I thought, why not attempt a United 232 approach. to my surprise PMDG was able to simulate/nail asymmetrical thrust very well. Hi, Could somebody tell how to remove the aircraft correctly. Can i use the NG removal tool (i think it was for the FS9 version).. I want to uninstall then reinstall with the latest download version.(still have freezing issue after hotfix 3) Also, if i use the link provided on purchase (august 5th) , are all hotfix included?.Many thanks and best regards

Has any decision been made on the release of any additional Hotfixes, or a release date for SP1. I really hope that all the Moaning about Hotfixes not fixing EVERYONE's Computer, like MAGIC, has not driven PMDG to decide to stop releasing any further fixes till SP1. If the Latest HOTFIX does not work for everyone, then realisically, it will be quite unlikely that a SP1 will work for everyone as well. Then what ? SP1 Hotfixes ??? Geoff

Hi. This is not a big one, just let dev team to know.. :) First, I really loves shortcut, set Ctrl+,(comma) for REMOVE CHOCKS.From time to time, when I remove chocks with Ctrl+, - some equipments still remain connected.I can see that EPU follows me when I push-back.. It can be also found in CDU Fs Action page, too -Chocks are moved(green), but othere's still connected(gray). After this I fell into a Yaw Damper bug first time. Light remaining after perfect preflight. p.s. This post is not intended for any replies, just a note & share.

I am fascinated by the HGS but, whilst there is a mention of setting up for an autoland in the tutorial, I can find very little advice within the other documentation addressing the other functions. I know I can play around with it and try to figure out, but it would be helpful to have some better feedback if possible please? Martin Madden

Hey all, Thanks for the help you've provided me with thus far. I have come from DCS A10 which is another highly complex flight simulator, however it only has a 760 page manual. My problem is, I'm not sure how to learn this jet. The manuals (other than tutorial one) seem to assume you've got some level of training already. Is there anything (other than the AOA training which isn't released yet ) Which can teach me things like... How to start the jet (including diagrams and an explanation of why youre doing things) or does that simply not exist? I could not find a basis checklist for the 737-800, maybe i overlooked ?I want to copy it and plastify the basic lists and have them ready just in front of me. Ok, well I have managed to get my head around the start up and take off procedures and I have done so with a certain amount of self gratification. However, this has been tainted by the continual issue I seem to be having with an alarm that starts sounding shortly after take off. It continues for almost the rest of a flight! There appears to be no warning light anywhere or any sign that there is a problem, just this darn alarm. Now I know it's likely to be finger trouble and I have looked around the forum but to no avail. So, can anyone please help me with this as it's driving me round the bend! Thanks guys...
