Hi, Today I took the NGX for a short hop on IVAO. Everything went very well until the Controler gave me vectors.I dialed in 180 and hit the HDG button and prompt the plane changed towards that heading. After wings level the plane flew at heading 186. So I dialed in 174 to correct that problem. Then I was supposed to turn on heading 330. I dialed in 324 because it tougt the problem was also noticable here. But then the plane was on heading 325 as the ND showed. So I finaly turned in 329 and I the plane flew heading 330. I don't want to say that this is a bug of the NGX. Migth it is a fail of mine. Like in the MD 11 you can change the ND between HDG and TRACK. I think that …

Hi When I'm lined up on the runway, A/T armed and both FD's on etc, if I press ALT HLD on the MCP, the A/T starts advancing the throttles to which ever N1 setting was selected via the FMC. This is without pressing TOGA. Is this meant to happen? I thought the A/T would only advance the throttles once the TOGA button has been pressed. CMD A and B have not been pressed. On the PFD, once the ALT HLD has been pressed I get MCP SPD and ALT HLD.If I press ALT HLD first and then arm the A/T nothing happens. I know you should not be pressing the ALT HLD button while still on the ground. This happens on both types of MCP's and on 800 and 900 models. Can't see anything in the manual…

Good afternoon, Maybe this is mentioned already. In that case couldn't find it. If I reload a flight, the satcom antenna is appearing on top of the plane. (the FMC still says " no satcom") and the inside of the engines is partly disappeared.The plane flies perfect so that's not the problem.In a new flight (no reload) the satcom antenna is disappeared and the engines look normal. Anyone else has this little problem? Eric

Hi guys, lineup, autothr set, 40% N1 set, to/go (in the pedestal, in the hide button) dont work (no problem in iFLY 737ngx or WILCO).For takeoff, i push the throttles to max. For landing, i set autobrake 2,3 or max and the plane dont stop, im use the toe brakes for this....any help?....please.......

Seeing a number of problems experienced by others regarding hot brakes I should perhaps leave this one alone. However curiosity always wins. The "problem" is that my brake readings in the CDU are always zero even after heavy braking. The brakes, including autobrakes work as they should. I have looked through the various manuals and can't help feeling that something is amiss. Any ideas please? Martin Madden

Hi, can somebody help me clarify this switch question I have. On page 33 of the introduction pdf, under the "For switches that move up/down the following applies:" section, it says that you could use either the left/right mouse button or turn the mouse wheel up/down to move the switch up/down. I think I remember being able to use the mouse wheel to flip switches up or down after the initial install of the 737NGX, however, after installing the hot fixes 1, 2 and 3, I can use the mouse buttons but can't use the mouse wheel to operate switches that move up/down or left/right. Hello, my ngx runs perfect on my i7 64bit 8gb ram 1tb nvida card until i use an airport with orbx installed sceenery then its performance is juddery,poor, slow and not good, anybody else get this, is it because they are both so power hungry.... thanksjames

While learning to fly the superb NGX and waiting for an official paintkit, I covered up the windows of the 800, added NAVY to the fuselage, added the military logo and added back the oversized window and now I'm flying around the Naval Air Stations showing off my P-8A Lookalike (from a great distance and don't look too closely). I sure hope PMDG keeps the Military versions on the front burner. This is coming out of FT. Lauderdale Intl using the Ft Lauderdale X Revisited photo-real scenery. Hello forum The last couple of approaches ive done the autopilot have lined me up a bit aside of the actual runway. Spesificly this happend in LOWI and ENBO. What caueses this and is there anything one can do about it ?Thanks in advance!

Are the keyboard shortcut options listed in the FMC the only shortcuts available? If not, does someone have a list of other shortcuts?

Im using Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit with FSX and the 'hot fix' by PMDG.After loading the plane everything is in place in the 3D cockpit but only after a few minutes or changing viewpoints to outside & coming back in the virtual cockpit some elements have disappeared ! They don't show up anymore during the flight so I have to use the 2D cockpit for all functionalities.I already reinstalled Visual C++ 2008 with no success, updated to the latest NVIDIA driver for my NVIA GT130 card, installed SP2 for FSX and have a daily updated Win7 system...Any suggestions why this happens & what could help it ???

For all of you guys running applications on a windows platform you would be aware that many applications requires the installation microsofts visual c++ runtime files. this includes fsx, pmdgs aircraft and varuius other games and apps. if you look carefully at ur progams you will find many copys of varius version of the files which can be quite messy. alot of the time even new applcations force you to install old runtime files. even inteligient installers will install older version even if u have the lastet version install. there a 3 base versions of the runtimes: 200520082010 all have been updated to sp1 for some time now. even so there are still minor secuirty fixes etc…

Are we supposed to reactivate the aircraft after a complete reinstallation?. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the aircraft and I've never been asked to reactivate it. Also,i got a panel freeze only 8 minutes after take off. That's getting worse and worse. Hope that PMDG will fix that problem soon. Just grounded the aircraft and fly other aircrafts.

say for example a delivery has been updated and I have the older version in the elivery manaager.1- should we uninstall and reinstall the craft with the new update?2-should we just go over with the new update?3- should we remove entirely from the deliverey manager the original delivery repaint and put the new one in with the updates ? what is the right thing to do. As all of you, I expected for a long time the release of our preferred aircraft for FSX.Having seen all the videos and reviews about it I buyed it as soon I got home from vacation.After the good experience with PMDG 737 for FS9 I'm sure NGX will be at least the "best" for my home-cockpit, based now on FSX.Well, I don't know if I missed something or did something wrong (?) but NGX is simply "unflyable" on my system.Even taxiing is an adventure: it goes left and right.Not to speak of climbing, turning, change speed, etc..Now, I'm not a newbie, so I'm a bit confused by that.1) Installation looked OK, but : why I can't have a virtual cockpit view (it is not selectable eve…

For U.S. it's easy: go to FlightAware. But I would like to fly over Europe and since here are some RW pilots on the forum, I would be obliged if someone posts a few plans. (The FP forum down bellow seems not very active). I am interested in some recent Ryanair flights, since their routes are great to practice flying NGX: not longer than 3 to 3.5 hrs, cover all Europe, the only thing is if you fly on AVSIM you can't hope for much ATC on Ryanair's small obscure airports (with exception EGSS and a few others).
