PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

In first, thanks a lot to the PMDG Team for the NGX. It's a new excellent addon and the 737 improve my flight experience on FS X. There's many things to say about it, the realistic feeling with this plane, exterior, flight deck and like the previous PMDG, all complete systems. Just a little " but ", since yesterday, when I use the FMC, I have a message " nav database out of date ", I installed the last hotfix there's a few days and I had no special message like this. The FMC seems work correctly, maybe I must download the new airac nav database, but I don't see any links on the PMDG support forum. Perhap's on the navigraph site ? Pete, first let me say great job on the Caribbean Airlines livery, it's outstanding but there are two errors on the livery 1. Trinidad & Tobago the home of the steel pan on the first officer side is not angled properly, the one on the captain side is correct. and 2. The colour of the ETOPS sign on the first officer side is wrong, it's supposed to be black. Other than those two errors, the livery is really great.

It seems to be random whether a saved state or following the process in the tutorial, starts with engines running. If the engines are not running then even going to cold and dark and then following the checklist seems to only allow left engine to start. Right just won't start. I have followed the tutorial flight and some of my own without problems except for this. Saved panel stated also don't seem to necessarilly end up with engines started. Any ideas how to solve this. Apart from this I am having great fun with the airplane though I have no experience of flying such a complicated simulation before. Peter Rowan

Hi, After being airborn for about an hour, i've had another panel freeze. (latest update was installed).

What it says really. Tonight I loaded the 'short' panel state and on climb out the oxygen masks deployed and I was getting failure messages on the FMC.

I am thinking it would have had to been very lite? And burning brakes

Is this possible? I have the engines running, pushed off the gate, all seems fine. Push the throttle forward slightly (animation works) and no engine response. So I push a little more and get the warning buzzer but the engines still don't respond. Duct pressure reads 0. I start the APU and get the pressure up but still no engine response. I am stuck. What am I doing wrong?

Hi everyone, Although I am grateful for the paintkit, and find it pretty easy and intiutive to use, I do have a little problem in misalignment (see screenshot, look at the Y and the M) And for those who are wondering; yes, I did check if I was painting on the right model (ed on the 900 instead of 800) Any ideas/suggestions? EDIT: I know there are some faults in the livery, as the .com on the tail: I't's a work in progress

Hello. I feel a bit daft asking this question but I cannot seem to find the answer anywhere. I cannot seem to get the comm2 radio to work in the NGX. Comm1 works fine. I did read somewhere on this forum that you need to turn the volume up. I can't figure out for the life of me how to do that. The little knob that you pull to listen to vhf2 lights up but you can't turn it to adjust the volume. So how do I adjust the volume assuming that is all I need to do. I know it's going to be something really silly but I can't seem to figure it. Any Ideas anyone???? Thank's, Martin.

Anyone using the Alienware m17x laptops with fsx/737ngx ? Whats the performance ? I was currently planning to buy one and was wondering if anyone could give me a heads up ? Specifications etc ?

Can anyone tell me who has this great looking product if the OOM issues have been resolved I am looking at purchasing but I found a post on another forum and the person posted his Computer Spec's and he has the same system (except smaller HD's) I have and I would like to know if this issue is resolved before I plunk down $70 and I find out I cannot use it. Here are my current PC spacs. I usually use FSPassengersX on all my flights to rate and keep track of my virtual career. I understand that FSPx doesn't work with the ngx and was wondering if there is any other addon that would rate your performance of how well you flew it, what your touchdown rate was, etc. that would be compatible with it? any recommendations? thanks

Just wondering if anyone else has this issue. When I load either MD 11 or 737NGX & go flying, everything works fine until I go to the menu bar & open anything (maps, settings, weather - anything) when I go back to my flight, the graphics are corrupted, missing aircraft pieces or panel pieces or sometimes just a black screen. Hello forum. I know this is probably off-topic, but i didnt find anywhere else to ask. Im using WOAI for ai traffic in fsx, and when im at an airport i only see airplanes of the same livery. For instance, i went to Heathrow and there were only british airways aircrafts there, at Frankfurt there were only lufthansa aircrafts. So the question is, how can i make this addon vary the liveries more? Thanks in advance!

Hey Everybody! I'm having some issues with the paint kit for the NGX. Every time i try to open the pmdg_7378NGX_fuselage_master.psd file it freezes my image editing program (GIMP). Any suggestions on this issue. ThanksRobert

With Ezdok the hud only shows half. Anyone having this problem to. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Robert Johnson

Before the hotfix everything on the aircraft worked fine however since installing the hotfix not only have i found a massive drop in fps when re entering the cockpit from an outside view and also the screen inbetween the fmc's where you can get system infiomation (break temp, movement of control surfaces) doesn't want to work, i'v looked through the fmc's options and can't find anything that would stop it. Hi guys I downloaded the new 1109 cycle from Navigraph, and when I try to install it.. It says that I already have (1.00.2916) version and this setup installs an earlier version(1.00.2888) and I'll have to uninstall the prevoius version before installing this version. does anyone have any idea how to uninstall the prevoius version! or i'm missing a step here. FCOM VOL 2 Page 193 it says.......... When in ALT HOLD at selected MCP altitude:• selecting a new MCP altitude illuminates the ALT HLD switch light and arms V/S mode. Any time I select a higher or lower altitude the light does not come on but it does arm V/S. Can anyone else verify this ?? I have Hotfix 3 installed. Fred. ( just did another test flight now with the Honeywell MCP and no problems) The problem only seems to be with the Collins MCP.

I know this has been discussed in the forums already, but I just want to let Rob and team know that I have installed the latest hotfix for the NGX and the breaks not disconnecting issue on landing hasn't been resolved. A forum member said it fixed the issue for them. I have read the manual and I am breaking after autobreaks have been disabled. I break several times and full breaks and it still doesn't disconnect. It appears that this issue is only happening to some as I have seen youtube videos where this doesn't happen. While I'm sure you guys are busy, I and a number of others need to get this issue figured out and resolved. After I land I am unable to taxi to the gate …

And i guess there could be B's as well, but ive only seen that for the speed. Thanks in advance!
