Hi all. Despite reading all the various posts on not being able to engage CMD B once fully established with VOR/LOC and GS fully annunciated, I still cannot stop CMD A tripping out leaving me with a CWS annunciated. I have started cold and dark and have all hotfixes loaded. To be sure I was establshed I left it quite late before selecting the second autopilot and the diamond was pink (magenta?). I have the autopilot set to realistic. Any advice gratefully received. Thanks.John

I'm curious if anyone else is having this issue. It seems as though my landing light effects have reverted back to "default" style. I'm curious how to rectify this issue without re-installation of the NGX. It seems as though the issue showed up after adding a new livery, but I'm not 100% sure. I'll take a look after work if no one has any ideas.

I've put some serious hours into the NGX. I want some extremely hard approaches. I've mastered Kai Tak and Toncontin. Innsbruck and Sucre don't seem very challenging to me. Is there anything thing more extreme out there? List your most extreme airports that pilots wouldn't dare to do with passengers here!

Hi Guys', again spent some several hours in this beautiful PMDG.Try to read a much as possible and realy made some nice and save flights. One issue keeps on irrutaing me and i can't find the answer, !! maybe i overlooked some seetings. When i start my takeoff roll and go over 40 knots and give full power, this f..king horn keeps tooting during takeoff.. i think i prepaired the cockpitwith all neccesary seetings but it still keeps tooting until airborn. Hi all, I'm flying with a bunch of the 'simple' gofligth hardware - RP48 button and roatary switch modules (x3), GF-T8 switches (x2). These are usually easy to program because they're just picked up by FSUIPC as joystick inputs. I'm trying to interface this with the NGX, particularly to control the MCP. Tried using the Goflight settings for default planes - as expected, no luck. Tried using FSUIPC to adjust heading, IAS, altitiude - also didn't work. Questions: 1. has anyone got FSUIPC working for hardware control of MCP?2. this is potentially a stupid question - are there key commands to control all this? I'm used to these being in the add-ons menu, but there's just an '…

Hi everyone, Having a blast so far with this jet. But I, like others, have had numerous flights ruined by the panel freeze bug. I purchased the addon after hotfix #3, so I am up to date. I noticed that on occasion when using other views (spot, other aircraft, tower), I'd come back to the VC to have my panels frozen. This morning, on taxi to the runway at KPIT, my panels froze so I started poking around. I started playing with Views --> New View --> Cockpit --> Virtual Cockpit. Hi Guys OK, in 'my world' I want to get myself a new Ryanair B738...... So, can anyone tell me what process a new B738 delivery to RYR would look like ? Would the a/c roll out in RYR colours at KBFI ? How many test flights would be made and what sort of duration / routing do these follow. How is delivery made ? Is the a/c flown direct from KBFI to Shannon or is it staged through several airfields before getting to the UK? When it arrives at Shannon what happens ? Okay, so this isn't the freeze you're expecting. I was completing a flight from EGKK to EGCC, and all went well until 20 feet on landing,when all of a sudden the aircaft jerked hard right, slamming winglet first into the ground. At first I thought the gear collapsed or that I didn't extend the gear, but then I slowed down, and realised that the NGX itself just froze.Not my sim, just the NGX. It was completely unresponsive to everything except throttle, and the displays were all stuck on 20 feet above the ground on final. Is anyone out there using the Saitek yoke, throttle quad, rudder pedals, and switch panel? Or any combination there of? I recently purchased these items, (had been eyeballing them for a while) but wanted for release of the NGX so that I'd get them all at the same time. every thing is installed and working fine...EXCEPT the switch panel. I can't seem to get it to work with the NGX. it works fine with all the default a/c in the hangar, but load up the 737, and NOTHING. I find that when following a star with a 180 degree onto finals I struggle to get fully established and fight hard to do so. Perhaps my choices are not as per real world and I'm using the incorrect ones for the approach to the runway. If I was to approach EGLL from the general direction of France as an example, irrespective of runway how would one select the correct star and transition? I guess the charts would provide all the answers ? please correct me!

Again going through full procedures.......having a problem starting L engine. Isolation Packs, dual bleeds, Start Switch on GRD, on IGN L, fuel pumps running, engine will not start after raising the Engine Lever. Noticed that N2 does not exceed 18.2% and FCOM V1 indicates minimum N2 required is 20%. I must be screwing-up something, cannot put my finger on it. Can anyone point me in the right direction ? Going through full procedures (800WL), there does not seem to be a C/R switch (Cancel/Recall). It's supposed to be just to the left of the Autobrake switch. Is this a problem or is it located somewhere else on this aircraft model ? Thanks,Zach

Just as the title says, FSX gives me CTD on startup with the PMDG_dll as the fault problem. If I remove the modules folder it all works fine! I have downloaded the latest FSUIPC, deleted all button and axis assignments. Yesterday after reinstall #3 it worked literally ALL day long, i assigned some basic functions thru FSUIPC and all was ok. Go to start up my sim today and now the dreaded CTD's. This not fun any more and actually quite frustrating. Any help would be great! Rob

Hello everybody, I'm new to FSX and PMDG. I try to do the tutorial n°1 and I have a problem that could seem very simple to you but I need help : the MCP speed knob doens't react. It still displays 100 and I cannot change it to an other number (149 for example in the tutorial). MCP heading knob and altitude knob both work correctly. Do you have an idea please ? I tried to uninstall and re-install the PMDG 737 800/900 files but the problem persists.Sorry for the bad english and thank you for your help.
