Is there a way to change the standard taxispeed.Right now taxispeed is much higher then other aircrafts.

As I always understood it you should before starting the APU switch at least one fuel pump ON. Today I found this in the documentation If extended APU operation is needed on the ground, position an AC operated fuel pump ON. If fuel is loaded in the center tank, position the left center tank fuel pump switch ON to prevent a fuel imbalance before takeoff. Sorry for being stupid but what exactly does this mean, how many and which fuel pumps should be switched ON before starting the APU for a normal flight? TIA,

Captains, how do i get i done, to decend in a holding? Everytime i enter a hold nad then i enter a lower FL the CDU says, check mcp alt or check target alt. When i aktivate VNAV the bird doesnt start to decend. He keeps holding the actual ALT. Of course the mcp is set correct (to the new lower Alt). What am i doing wrong here? Greets Frank

How do you make it fail just after V1 or a few moments after VR? I saw in the falure section you can give a time of the engine fail. For exampe 20sec?

I have to say the 737NGX is the worst addon I've ever bought. I've had it for over 3 weeks now and attempted over 15 flights only once completing one without panel freezing and no response to keyboard/joystick etc. And yes I applied all 3 (non)fixes and have downloaded the file again which included the fixes. I've tried reducing the sliders in FSX to practically zero, ran ******* cfg tool and many other suggestions. We were promised and update etc TWO weeks ago and have heard nothing. Hi,and thanks for the great product!Today,while flying PHOG to KSJC , With Alaska 900 WL model,(CLUTS R465 CIVIT R465 CINNY PIRAT BRINY)I attempted a 1 mile R/H offset,between CIVIT to BRINY, It captured the initial turn to the right of the airway,but wouldn't make the parallel turn to the left.It was also hunting back and forth on the initial turn.Thanks for any help.

Lots of nice repaints showing up at in the AvSim Library. Too bad there isn't a standard naming convention. We need to have a contest for the best search string that will return the most PMDG 737NGX repaints after the PaintKit was released. Those posted prior to the kit are marginal at best. Ray

Hello, so I think, that problem with CTD is solved( http://forum.avsim.n...-after-takeoff/ ). It seems, that CTD caused IVAP, I tried to fly with external mode of IVAP and everything was OK, but IVAP crashed, fortunately only IVAP not FSX. Hello captains, Since many people are having problems with the issue crashing to desktop, I recommend you to give my tips a try: - Treat Flight Simulator well: if your computer has some problems with loading for a few secondes (you get for a few secondes heavy lagg/low fps), then don't go switching views everytime. Pause the game for a few secondes so your computer gets some time to load.- If you want to go to the menu, first of all press P to pause the game. Then click at a menu. I'm aware that the activated mouse pointer induced drain on frame rate instantly resolves once the pointer is moved to any other layer above the main FSX active view. If you move it over the menu bar, or over the ATC window for example, full perf is restored. Hi fellas,I've noticed since Ive had the NGX I've run into some calibration issues with my joystick. Only this specifically:I have a saitek X65F and the throttle has a scroll wheel which can rotate clockwise/anti clockwise infinitely etc (just like a mouse wheel). I use this for trim, alt inc, alt dec, SPD inc, SPD dec on different modes. Scroll up is assigned to one keyboard shortcut in the saitek profiles eg "alt inc - Ctrl+shift+A" and scroll down "alt dec - Ctrl+shift+q". I add these key shortcuts to the pmdg assignments menu, respectively.Now when I fly the NGX and use the scrollwheel on the stick it moves in random unpredictable chunks. Hi gents, In my quest for more realism (and to get plausible flight ideas), I was browsing several airlines's websites. I found out that the 738 is mostly used to do the first flight of the day towards a given destination. It is then usually replaced by smaller 737's, Airbus, ATR or McDonnell's aicrafts for the rest of the day. Here's a list of what I found so far : - Air Algerie (DAAG 7:25 -DAOO 8:35)- Air Austria (LOWW 6:35 - EGLL 8:05)- KLM (EHAM 7:15 - LFPG 8:35) Is there any reason for that? Or is just a coincidence? Hi All As a 2D panel user I am really trying to get to grips with the VC. To look around the VC I press the spacebar and move mouse which takes two hands. I would like to activate mouse look by pressing and holding one of the mouse buttons to activate it instead of the spacebar. Is this possible ? I've spent a frustrating two afternoons investigating a crash to desktop situation when selecting a climb derate in the FMC. The crash occurs whenever you select a CLB 1 or CLB 2 derate in the FMC preflight. Upon reaching the set thrust reduction altitude FSX will CTD. This crash is 100% repeatable without fail - I've done over 20 test flights now. The normal CLB setting does not cause the CTD. Interestingly it only happens with the 800WL aircraft - not the other 3 models. For this reason I believe it's not a problem with my system or config. Must be a bug. Anyone else found this? Hey all, So as we all know, saving weight on an airplane significantly reduces fuel burn, but the NGX doesn't have this perfected. Carbon brakes are about 600lbs lighter than steel brakes, but if you'll notice when you select carbon brakes, your ZFW doesn't decrease. Same for airstairs. They are pretty darn heavy (close to 400lbs if i remember correctly [ my memory kinda sucks so don't hold me to it]). so when you combine these to weight savers, carbon brakes, and no airstairs your NGX could be as much as 1000 lbs lighter, but unfortunately, the NGX doesn't have that animated. My question is would we see this updated in a future release, or am i some how missing it? Pleas…

Note, these comments affect the visual model, not the handling of the simulator which seems fine. It appears to me that lateral control movements are underdone, as are the corresponding EICAS indications. Ailerons In the aircraft these move +/- 20 degrees. In the sim the movement appears to be less than that, but of course it's impossible to measure accurately from the screen. Roll spoilers At full aileron deflection the roll spoilers don't appear to move as far as the aircraft. The EICAS control position display shows about 20% of max flight spoiler, they should show nearer 100%. Also roll spoiler movement begins as soon as the wheel moves from neutral. In reality t…
