Congratulation to PMDG gang for producing a superb model. I am sure they will manage to solve the infancy bugs and make all of you happy pilots. Below is a pic of my system. I use a matrox triplehead2go card to and get with full sliders (no traffic, ASE, EZdok) typically 30 fps (could fall to 20 on the ground of a complex scenery airport with bad weather) Happy landing ! Best Karim PS: I can't see the pic I've just uploaded ! Help

Hello, I have a suggestion for a future update: it would be nice to have pdf bookmarks for quick access to topics in the pdf files.Priority should be given to the QRH and FCOM1. Oh and Thanks for this nice 737 :) Regards Guillaume Couvez.

Hi! Just saw this on youtube....I think some action should be taken. I know you can´t stop this stuff, but being so blatantly obvious with it is just asking for trouble. So PMDG...here is the link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ggtlodw9iYo

A friend in my VA who has the excellent 737NGX was attempting an autoland on 22L at KBOS. He said it would not take and so landed it by hand. My thoughts, as a non-expert, are that 22L isn't CAT II or CAT III so there is no autoland possible on that one runway. Another member of the VA said it doesn't matter what CAT it is because FSX doesn't know the difference. Can anyone explain why he could not autoland if he was properly setup? Was it (1) just a fluke, did he (2) do something wrong, or is the 737NGX (3) so accurately modeled that 22L of KBOS can't have an autoland despite what FSX thinks?

Hello captains, last flight was very strange about what happened. According normal procedure I turned off center fuel pumps when center tank fuel under 500 Kgs / 1000 lbs. They remained OFF for the entire flight. After landing I was very impressed to see that center tank had 0 kgs of fuel. Crossfeed valve obviously closed. How it is possible? Many thanks bye.

Hello I know there are users having freezing issues and emails flying back and forth between users and PMDG, perhaps it would be beneficial if PMDG could teamview into these PC and look for a trend and once and for all find out what is causing this. I dont personally believe its the PMDG software code directly more likely a compatibility issue with certain hardware or software locally on the pc but then again i am not an expert PMDG are and would have a far better chance than us of finding this

Hello I watch a few 737 NG cockpit videos and the pilots go through their flows very quickly surely they do not use a checklist can any real pilots confirm, are they taught to memorize these checks in the initial training

Been spending most nights and all weekend flying the NGX . Michelle has been giving me the gears as she is feeling I'm cheating on her with my new love. The team at PMDG Have created a real addictive masterpiece. I'm sure I'm not the only one spending all free time available . I loaded the manuals and bought charts on my iPad ,which goes with me to bed where I read the manuals and surf the forums. This NGX has changed my life. Thanks PMDG for putting pressure on my marriage!!

How will PMDG actually be judging interest in this ? A handful of people (me included) have posted in the 'availability' thread stating which ones we want but there has to be a more organised way than that - this is PMDG ! Gary

Hi Guys: Question on trim on takeoff, fmc configured properly, short flight 1/3 fuel v2 is 135, trim as per fmc is 5.3 - vnav & lnav on at and both fd's as stated by tutorial, when I take off when it is suppose to start climbing on its own, I get a clanging noise and the plane starts to stall and the trim starts triming to 10 degrees and a light comes on out of trim so not sure why this is happening, thanks Guys.

Hi guys, Just wanted to put something out there. In my opinion, aircraft in flight simulator, including the NGX, appear significantly smaller. Now, I know all PMDG products are to scale, but that feeling of being in something so large just does not seem to come through the simulator, for me at least. Right now i'm cruising with the NGX; it appears small even though it is 100% to scale. I just think it stinks how flight simulator makes things appear differently. For example, it makes a 737 appear tiny when in real life, it is a very very large object. What do you guys think? Morgan W

Hi, First flght (2.5 hours) without CDT or panel freeze. I've used the PMDG house colors, I'll try with one of those repaints to see if it could cause panel freeze. Somebody else also reported that when he uses PMDG repaints he got a panel freeze but not when using PMDG house colors. Regards.

Guys; After the hotfix 3 my NGX has appeared that way. At the beginning of the flight the texture is normal, it appears after +-30 minutes of flight, and always before the freeze happens.I wonder if anyone else is finding it, or it is only my problem. I am running FSX on i5 @ 2.67 GHz, 4 GB RAM, nVidia GTS 450 1Gb in Windows XP.Before the hotfix 3 this did not happen, and only happens with the NGX (other PMDG addons running normal).

As somebody estated before in another post, a clear HUD is not necessarily a dll file issue. I follow the advice and re-install my FSUIPC, problem solve! HUD working perfectly fine..and even my add on tab that dissapeared after an installation of the Caribbean Airlines livery is back! with everything that was installed in the sim before! Got to go...plane is on hold!

First at all, I must say, the RTM Install of the 737 worked from the beginning for me !So I decided not to install the Hotfix 1 and also not the Hotfix 2.Now, as I saw a Hotfix 3 is released, I said to me, why not try it ? Luckily I made a Backup first of the drive where the FSX is installed.First I removed the Liverys, then I applied the Hotfix 3.First startup of the FSX and selecting a 737NGX, the FSX crashed to the Desktop ! Wow, I thought what a great improvement !The second try, then worked, The Plane was loaded, but no EZCAM anylonger. I read about, that this could happen, so I tried just to reintialize the EZCAM again, but this did not work.Ok, then I checked my Th…

A friend of mine agreed to make a simple application that will add simulated time to the Service Based Failure system of the NGX, thus simulating the aircraft being flown by other pilots. So, I would like to know what the logged entries mean in the ini files so that he can write a program to add time and maybe other variables to the specific ini files for aircraft in the fleet. Could someone please explain the following... [Failure Groups]Active=1Run Timer.0=24912.540707Run Timer.1=24912.540707Run Timer.2=24912.540707Run Timer.3=24912.540707Run Timer.4=24912.540707Run Timer.5=24912.540707Run Timer.6=24912.540707Run Timer.7=24912.540707Run Timer.8=24912.540707Run Timer.…

How far we have Not Come. How many years later? Nine I believe. Anyone who was around to purchase the original PMDG 737 knows exactly how buggy that product was. It took 3 or 4 major service packs to patch that thing up. But now it's 2011. Judging by all the user experiences here this one is just as buggy. If Not worse. "Crash to Desktop", "Massive Drop in Frames", "Another Frozen Panel". etc etc. Oh dear, oh dear.
