Hi all, The nose up angle on touch down seems to be not realistic.Having seen quite a lot pictures of 737-800 at the moment of touchdown there is clearly to be seen that in real world the nose up angle is higher (about 5%).With the NGX, although coming in with the correct speed and correctly configured, the aircraft touches down almost leveled and the front gears touch down almost immediately after main gears touch down. And if you give it a slightly more pitch up then you flare for half the runway...I can not be sure of course but I believe the NGX is simulated much more slippery than in real world. You struggle to bring it down correctly. As if you are coming in for land…

Good evening PMDGI'm very happy with the NGX but I think concerning the last pinned post from RSR it would be appreciate maybe a short update as over all from RSR. Several points on his post we're waiting for an answer. Thanks very much. Best regardsMarcel

Dear pilots, This is a repost, please have a look at the picture. What is causing the large grey square and the texture problem? It's already appearing in selection screen, except voor landing lights no other exterior lights work. Tried several un/install, no solution.

I am very pleased with the NGX so far. It has great performance, no crashes/ CTDs and all the system work as it should (to my knowledge). But there is one problem though that I cant understand. During landing, right before coming down on the runway, the whole sim freezes for about half a second or a bit more, and then resumes without any further problems. This problem is first and foremost aesthetically displeasing as it takes away the pleasure of a smooth and perfect landing.Secondly it is practically very dangerous as it seems to activate, immediately after the freeze, all of the control movements you added during the freeze, resulting in loss of control. Why does it fre…

Hi everyone, I'm running default FSX scenery with REX 2.0 and WOAI. I've noticed that when I switch views (i.e. press 'S'), the NGX and all the other WOAI traffic "bounce" -- that is, they don't become airborne, but there's a stutter-like hop as if the landing gears is compressing and uncompressing. Has anyone seen anything like this? Anyone know a remedy? Could this be a contact points issue? Thanks,Sam Kharey

All, My NGX has been constantly crashing when using the VC. I am getting about 12 FPS at big add-on airports with 50% traffic using UT2. The sim crashes if I go to a menu item and try to come back to the cockpit, or if I try to change airports. It crashes if I go from windowed mode to full screen. It also crahsed tonight in New York coming into LGA. I am running 3 monitors using TH2G, so I know there is a high graphics load. Others in the forum report low FPS with three monitors, but not crashes. Here is the error log Log Name: ApplicationSource: Application ErrorDate: 8/30/2011 12:26:42 PMEvent ID: 1000Task Category: (100)Level: ErrorKeywords: …

It seems for me, that while i goes from full view mode to windows mode, or visa verca, the graphics getsmessed up. Sometimes it helps to either hit alt+enter, but in most case the simulator just crash. Was trying to read this forum to see if more had this problem, but i could'nt find any. I has readed aboutthe panel freeze bug, but this seems different.

Got the plane yesterday, everything working fine, with the exception of panel freezes with new liveries. With default livery everything was fine. Follow advice in the forum to change the file properties. remove the read only attribute.End of my fun...I got a fatal crash everytime I start the sim. Of course this is solve easily by just deleting the start up situation which I did. The sim works ok.. If I select the plane..again the crash...I uninstall it completely and re-install it again... Didn't ask for activation?...weird and still get the same crash... How can I re-install this and re-activate and get my plane working again? Do I need to delete a license file or someth…

Guys, I have upgraded my Geforce graphic card driver from 275.50 to 280.26 and experienced a bump to higher FPS.. Not sure if new drivers helped.. If you wanna upgrade to the new driver please remember to have a clean install by removing all traces of old drivers (use "driver sweeper").

Tests on my system (Win7 32bit, FSX with SP2, PMDG 737NGX with hotfix 2, Core i5, 4GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GT 240 with 512 MB RAM) have shown, that the virtual cockpit needs a lot of resources of FSX.After removing the VC-section in panel.cfg and renaming of the folder "texture.vc" to "text.vc", frame rate increased a lot and I didn't have panel freezes again. Some fine tuning will be necessary to avoid black windows in other views than forward view. Abstinence of the virtual cockpit allows to move the sliders of FSX more to the right side for better scenery and other effects. Without the virtual cockpit, it is possible to me to enjoy this phantastic aircraft in a detailed…

Hi Everyone! I got PMDG NGX, and a lots of time I had error in DX9 mode. I know it's more stable and maybe faster in DX10 mode, but a lots of payware airport hasn't got dx10 support (missing textures on cars etc.), that's why I use it in dx9 mode. The problem happens mostly and randomly when I switch between camera modes. And then I got black screen, with a lots of texture mismatch. I try to attach one image shoot. Please Help!My spec: Ati HD5970, Core I7-950 (4.02 Ghz), 3x2Gb triple channel ram, with Win7 64bit.

Was flying towards Gatwick today, level at FL80, 220 IAS, LNAV and ALT HOLD and received ATC instruction to descend to 4000'. I dialled in 4000 and selected LVL CHG but was surprised when descent rate held pretty steady at only -250fps. I eventually had to use VS to increase rate of descent and by the time I had leveled-off at 4000, I had missed my next change of heading. I'm puzzled now as to whether I suffered a system glitch or mis-operated the descent due to mis-understanding procedures. I believe that LVL CHG is appropriate for a descent of 4000, if neededing only a few hundred feet change, I'd use VS. Earlier in the flight I had experienced a 'BUFFET Alert' and …

Hello! I'm wondering if an option that allows you to not display the Fuel Flow Indicators on the upper EICAS, could be added in the future. Airlines like RYR and SAS does not have those indicators displayed on their upper EICAS.

The yaw damper doesn't seem to work lately. I'll preflight the aircraft normally, following the checklists and everything, but when the yaw damper is switched the yaw damper light remains and will not extinguish, No failures are active, both engine driven generators are supplying power, both IRS are aligned. No other warning lights are on except the yaw damper light any ideas, anyone else see this?

Ok, so NGX runs really well on my system. However, if I fiddle too much I can't even start FSX. To make everything ok again, I double click on 'Previous Flight' in my documents/flight sim x files folder. This may help those of you who experience unreliable startup. Contrary to my advice on previous posts I decided to crank up my processor speed using the ASUS overclock utility. I wound my E8600 up from 3.3GHz to 4.3GHz and ended up with few extra FPS but nothing startling - I even got a few odd crashes that I had never experienced before. If you are getting crashes just try reducing your clock speed slightl - it may be the answer in a few cases and you certainly won't lo…
