PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

    I have just bought and downloaded the NGX, I have reinstalled several times, With no luck, I have yet to see the panels fully. I can't seem to press / push the switches or see any other panels. If SS's are needed, I can post them. Anyone know why?

    hi to everybody!i'm new of this forum.i have this problem with 737-800WL NGX :when i go to start engine 2 first (as from procedure)the percentage of N2 remains to 18.1% instead of reaching 25% to make the engine start.i also get a LOW OIL PRESSURE on the EFIS panel...is it normal or this signal exstinguishes after the engine starts??i follow 100% checklist procedures.may you help me please??? sorry if i made mistakes with english but isn't my languagethanks in advance guys, regards!!!!!

  3. i am still getting crashes when i minimize or exit the screen and go back to the full screen mode. I need help. I tried the HIGHMEMfix=1 on the FSX.cfg and nothing it still does it. Pmdg please do something about this crash i cant even use my plane.. Not once since the day it came out have i done a flight with it! Since i payed 70 dollars for this plane i would like to fly it!

    When I select MINS RADIO even after RST, the indication shows always an amount between 16'000 ft and 9'000 ft. It's hard ( takes long time) to scroll down to 100 ft for CATIII approach.Is there a way to select a basic amount e.g. 150 ft somewhere?Thanks, P.Burch

    Hi all, can anyone help. When i activate an ILS radio freq eg: 108.900 for rnwy 24 (EGPH) after estableshing the localiser i get a bleeping noiselike a Morse code type signal. Is this normal or can i switch it off. If i return the freq back to standby the noise go's away. many thanks

    Not sure if this an ASE thing or NGX or FSX but my QNH in ASE is always 1 mb different to what is in FSX (if i use the set ALT but :( which should set the altimeter to the current QNH it is always one MB out to what ASE is saying is the present weather. Anyone else noticed this?

  10. Hi, I just recently installed PMDG 737NGX on my brand new machine that I just builded for FSX, and I am experiencing a hugh drop (50%) in FPS when flying with 737 NGX. If I fly with the default 737 or any other, I have no problem with performance. I get somewhere around 12 FPS and I usally get 25 - 30 FPS. I just hope that 12 FPS is not normal because I understand that this aircraft uses a lot of CPU resourses due to overall detail of aircraft and systems on board. In addition, I experience other issues like CTD "fatal error message" when I end the flight - this happens 50% of the time.     Having suffered my first panel freeze yesterday I thought it was about time I installed the latest Hot Fix 3. This I have just done and the aircraft.cfg files not show ver 1.00.2922 except for the 800WL model which still shows ver 1.00.2888. I istalled the hot fix for a second time but it has made no difference the cfg file still shows an old version complete with all the added liveries unlike the other models where the added liveries were all wiped out.     Holding Pattern/Course Reversal/Procedure Turns... are these going to be worked on for SP1? The reason I ask is because I let the A/P fly the ILS Z Ry 08 into KBUR this morning. I arrived at SILEX from LAX318R (so I arrived from the SE). If I were to fly this in real life, it would be direct SILEX, HOLD PARALLEL, then inbound.     Hallo, I really need some help here because it's driving me crazy....... I'm unable to silence my VOR1..... it just keeps beeping as soon as i tune to a station which is within reach..... I've read the other posts here and tried the suggested solutions but nothing seems to help, I tried to press "Q", went to the outside view and did the "Q" also already uninstalled EZDOK and reinstalled..... no change, VOR1 just beeps...... also loading of different pannel states or a different planes, to make shure that VOR1 ident is off didn't do the trick.....     I bought the 737NGX on release day and have had loads of fun getting to grips with it (luckly I had no technical issues) and from the very start of my first flight I could tell what a great job PMDG had done. Today I had the opportunity to get a look around a 737-800 cockpit and the first thing that blew me away was how accurate the PMDG cockpit really is, pretty much everything in the cockpit was exactly the same on the real 737 and in the NGX. I no this has been said many times since release but it was only today that I fully appreciated how good this addon really is!

I have a question, in the ngx, the only way to open any of the doors is (at least this is needed for me) to either have ground power connected or the APU running.Is this really realistic? if so, how do the pilots or technicians enter the plan after the plane has been shutdown over night for example?:)

  21. Hi, I have a very strange problem with the NGX: In VNAV mode the autopilot shows a tendency to overshoot the course. After overshooting, it starts to rock left and right to get back on course. An example where this behavior is really extreme is the PSA 25S transition at EDDF. You can take a look at the charts on Vatsim. I recorded this flight on Youtube (see below). The video starts right in the middle of a left turn over DF607. As you can see, the autopilot is overshooting the new course (248°) to DF608. In fact, it turns until 221° (at 0:55 in the video).     It doesn't appear to work with the approach selected in the FMS. I can hand fly it using the old twist ten turn ten method but it doesn't appear to function from an automated standpoint, is this correct? I tried starting via the DLH288015, arcing NE for the vor/dme ry 21 apprch at KDLH. The FMS only draws a straight line from the IAF to the turn inbound. Is this a navigraph function? I've seen other addons fly this approach.

    This is probably does not have anything to do with the freezes or majority of crashes. I just wanted to share my experience just in case somebody else accidentally did this too. If you ever see duplicates of Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 or Multiple copies of Visual C++ 2008 installed in Programs and Features don't mess with em, leave em alone! :-) I am kinda a neat and tidy freak so when I saw 2 copies of Visual C++ 2005 that looked identical I deleted one of them.   25. Hi, what I manage to create are waypoints like XYZ/-3 or XYZ010/3. But I´m not able to create my map as I´m used to in the real ship. For instance when I fly a visual approach to RWY 27. I create a point RW27/-3 which is called RW001 by the FMS. Now I select RW001 again but RW27/-3 is shown in the scratchpad instead of RW001. I would like to create the next point RW001180/3 -< not possible. In the real aircraft I get the next point RW002 using this technique.. Do I have a wrong configuration?
