Hey guys,I'm trying to configure one of my CH yoke axis to operate the reverse thrust.I cant get it to work properly, mainly because i don't really understand how to set the FSUIPC axis, and than assign it to the aircraft.i would appreciate any help or tutorial to explain it to me, from scratch. thanks,

I apologize if this has been brought up earlier, but with 100s of topics in the last few days, I have been only following a few. I have had this problem at cruise where the acft will make wide turns to the left and right. Even limiting bank angles to 10 did not help. Switching to heading hold also did not help. All this happened when the wind touched 30 kts. I use registered version of FSUIPC and ASE and I have done recommended settings for Wind smoothing etc. I also use FSInn with weather disabled in it and ASE controls the weather with VATSIM Online option. How serious do you take the NGX? What rules do you set when you fly the NGX (if any)? Do you ever drink on the job? Maybe you enforce a ban? Or perhaps when you leave your PC unattended during cruise, you monitor your flights progress through your iPad at the other end of the house- constantly. [Caution]: A reinforcement of common-sense since we have brought up drinking and flying. It is strictly forbidden in real life and should never be attempted under any circumstance. I'm sure everyone knows why.

Can the VSD be disabled? Also I am not sure that I am able to display the expanded map shown on FCOM2 page10.11.36. The VSD gets displayed when I push the CTR button. I am in map mode and press the CTR button. One of the button pushes gives me the VSD. Am I doing something wrong? ThanksDon

Hi. I just want to know how do work those add-on's together because I have seen in the virtual stores that REX require Windows XP or Vista and they don't mention Windows 7. And I would like to know if I can set REX instead IVAO weather. I think it could be done turning off the weather engine. And lastly, can you tell me if is there any problem with the 737NGX and REX? I have searched and did not find an answer, although several people have mentioned it. When I change the sound levels in the simulation through the CDU, it does not seem to have any effect on the actual sound levels during the simulation. Any suggestions? David Bowles

Here are screenshots of my recent flight from KTPA - KLAS (screenies taken toward arrival, so no KTPA shots). Enjoy. Now my question:In the next screenie, see how the HGS runway outline is wrong? What could be the cause, anyone? I got the elevation from the chart which says TDZE = 2069'. I forgot to get the screenshot, but the PFD also says in yellow LDG ALT if I remember correctly. I have owned the 737 for only 1 day, so I am still trying to learn how to fly it. I have been having problems occur while still in the programing of the compute, or doing the initial panel setups.. What happens is that sometime during the initialization of the plane, I notice that it shows "Simulation is Paused -Press P to continue". However, pressing "P" does NOT cause it to resume! I can still use the hat switch to view the panel, but nothing else works to get it out of the paused state. I can not switch views with the "S" key board button. I must exit FSX at this point. Hi guys, I am trying to assign some autopilot events to my keyboard. This is easily done with FMC Menus (by the way: excellent idea to concentrate everything in the FMS !!). However, I have to manually repeat the keypress in order to get the event repeated. This is a bit boring when i am changing autopilot heading. So I would like to know if it is possible just to hold the key, and get an autorepeat, as you can get with FSUIPC. Thanks !

In the VC the description around buttons including the letters in the FMC are extremely unclear, like you are looking through glasses which are not made for you. The 2D panels are totally clear and sharp. I have a wide screen monitor at 1920x1080x32 res. Any ideas on what I can do?ThanksBernd Jablonka

Well i thought i'd try my hand at painting, Im pretty competant with Photoshop which doesnt phase me at all, but after downloading the paint kit and deciding to use the master template im a little confused - Do i crop the kit before painting and pull it together in order to have a full fuselage to paint? Does anyone have any suggestions for high res logos etc? (Brand of the World i know about) I think thats all for now, any help is greatly appreciated. Simon

Just completed my first online flight in NGX and have a couple of questions: - After starting up from a cold & dark state going through all preflight items I then noticed during taxi to the rwy I had no brakes. I couldn't understand what was the problem, the HYD pressure was good, the brake temps were good but finally I noticed I had one active failure which happened to be the brakes. What I don't understand is why I got this failure since I haven't (at least not deliberately) activated any failures. Looking under PMDG options service based failures are OFF and I haven't activated any random triggers either under the a/c options. - When I was climbing out from the air…

Hi Pmdg. After installing Hotfix release I still get my sim putting itself into pause mode, seems at least once a flight. Not sure how long I have been flying maybe between 20 minutes to 1 hour.Today I was flying, cruizing along and I decided to switch to real time weather. When I came back into the sim the screen just went black. There was sound and I could move my mouse but just black. Pushing the escape button then pressing continue did nothing. I then went to flight analise and when I came back the cockpit came back to normal but the scenary water was not there. Robert, The post in the pinned section was good news but I want to add to your praise of the support team. I had a problem with activation and Ryan was on top of it emailed me and we set a time that same night to figure out the problem. Ryan was able to fix the problem and I am flying now so he deserves a lot of thanks and a raise or stock options. JeffG

Hello, When I make eye mouvements in the VC i have this problem as figured on the attached jpg-file.I have a high end system : processor I7 2600 K, graphical card NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580, ...I must be some setting but tried yet a bit of everthing, the problems remains ...Any suggestion ? I recently wa following a Sid and programmed the fmc to be at 250/8000 at a specific waypoint. The fmc told me a steep descent would be coming, so I anticipated that I would need spoilers. I then realized I had the drag required message in the fms and I engaged the spoilers to flight detent. The fmc was dead accurate at making the plane be at 250/8000 at the planned waypoint, but my question is, is the yellow fmc button close to the nd supposed to light for this message? I pretty much use common sense of when I think I might need the spoilers (and sure enough the cdu is telling me I need them when I think I need them), but why doesn't the light come on like when I have ot…

Today, I found out what all the fuss was about. While taxiing to takeoff at KORD, my screen went kind of grey and the little blue circle started spinning. I have flown about 50 flights, and this has happened a couple of times before, but only lasted a couple of seconds at the most. Today, after waiting for 10 minutes, I finally exited out of the program. BUT, the interesting thing is .... this was my FIRST FLIGHT with my new TrackIR. I was panning for traffic to cross a runway when it happened. Maybe this will help someone diagnose the difficulties. I'm not going to submit a support ticket, unless it happens again, and again.
