Just a quick question....to make best use of the damage modelling, wear and tear, random failures, etc of the NGX...do we have to have any specific settings set to make the most of the options in the NGX? Will Reynolds

I have three monitors with TH2G. I'm loading up the NGX and getting between 10 and 15 FPS in VC mode at FSDT's KDFW. This is at a major add on airport with REX, GEX, and all that good stuff. I set my traffic down to 0 to see if that had any effect and it really didn't. When I go to a singe screen my FPS jumps back up to above 25. I have FSX optimized according to the manual. I hope I can get some better frames out of this. I wonder if this was beta tested with VC three monitors? Is anyone else using three screens with the VC and how's your performance? 1) Still getting those damned cockpit freezes even on latest hotfix. They havnt fixed anyhting for me. Got them on previous hotfix but this one actaully gave me more freezes! I got about 4 freezes in 10 minutes while at the gate in Vatsim at YSSY (Sydney, Australia) during and after start up. I've been freeze and CTD free for several flights now including some over 6+ hours in length. For some reason I've experience 2 CTD while on the OLM 7 arrival into KSEA while in transition between ARVAD and FOURT. ORBX scenery is in use, as well as REX. This happened on back to back flights from KSMF. First flt was a full CTD, second was a FSX hang that I had to force quit after about 5 minutes. Anyone else had this issue under the conditions described above? I've only had this with the NGX. Can someone fly and confirm?

Woohoo After a few weeks of troubles with my sim and ctd’s, a full reinstall of the FSX drive and still having ctd’s, success. I finally completed a full flight this morning in the PMDG 737ngx. EGFF to LFLB. Active Sky Evo, REX graphics and EFB all running and the flight conducted online. When I got across the channel I thought ok lets make some coffee, but I have to admit I was expecting to come upstairs and find it crashed to desktop, but no it was still flying along happily. Purchased it a few weeks ago, but i've been spending the time to learn the manuals and to play around with the systems on the ground. PMDG has made an AMAZINGLY breathtaking product! Well worth my money, i don't regret the investment at all I was so blown away that i'm getting my computer upgraded! Hello, I am experiencing a problem with the NGX and my Saitek Switch Panel. It works fine with all of my add-ons, but it doesn't work with the NGX. Are there any solutions for this problem? Thank-you for any suggestions.

I own a variety of airports from developers such as Aerosoft, Imaingesim, Blueprint, FSDT, LatinVFR, Eiresim, FlyTampa, and ORBX, and I have flown my NGX in most of my sceneries. I noticed something very odd. Every time I'm on approach to FSDT's KFLL 9L, I get a freeze and CTD when using my NGX or MD-11X. It usually happens around 7 NM from the threshold on approach. Most of my PMDG planes are fine in other FSDT sceneries and others for that matter. I dont' get this problem with default KFLL. I also have airplanes from other designers, and they don't have this CTD when conducting the same approach with FSDT installed. Has anyone seen consistent CTDs in the same geo…

I know I have not quite started to read the QRH as yet as Im still testing out the NGX..However I do have a question as I am currently cruising at FL360 with a gross weight of 144.8 and cost index of 57. The FMC is reporting Optimum and Max altitudes to be FL378/392. In my mind im thinking that the aircraft should be able to step up to FL380, however it seems like the FMC is thinking differently. Everytime I enter 380 in the step climb line on the FMC it responds with "unable". So hence my need to ask if I am missing something at this point. Any ideas? Gicel Ward

Hey guys with the new paint kit out for the NGX out, i thought all those that complete a repaint and would like to share it post the a picture with a access link on this thread for ease of finding for members who would like a repaint. If you would like a repaint also put a request here, maybe someone might be doing it, saves gloggin the froum up asking for it. I wish i had the skill to repaint, but i dont. Hi Captains! On a flight from VNKT-VECC today I noticed something in the cockpit... Do you know what is this? Heres a closer look:

The liveries I would love to see painted on my NGX are: CanJetAmerican OneWorld and AstroJetBritih Airways Landor and OCDelta NOC (flag on tail), and OC (livery before that), and SkyteamContinental 'Meatball' All are for the -800. Can anyone provide these, or will they ever be available in the liveries section? I would make them myself, but I'm awful at making them (tried and failed :D)

I'm flying to KSAN right now and I decided to step through my flight plan using the PLAN feature, then returned to normal use. I tried to upselect a leg on the LEGS page in order to do a Direct to and then I got an error saying Not in Data Base on the FMS. Is that normal? And how do I fix it?

Everytime I takeoff there is always vector to the next waypoint in the STAR. Should I remove the vector?

OK, Well after some more attempts to fix my nose down climb issue. I have re-installed Windows just recently, and with a new install of FSX, I have ruled out corruption. Then, I though it was weather. The FsInn weather is completely disabled, using both the UI menu options setting where the weather is coming from, and the FsCopilot disabling FsInn weather, pressure, etc. No luck. I cannot run without FSUIPC4, as it runs my TQ-6. After my last attempt, I tried disabling my addon default situation (The Cold and Dark Mod), I got this result: Takeoff was from Barrow Alaska, PABR, and the rest is explained below...I am just about trying, any last ideas would be great, Weather …

For those like me with freeze problems which PMDG says are very few, when will you be available tocomment or direct us to a solution.I am getting fatal error when trying to load any of the 737NGX from the Free Flight screen, I can't fly anymore.I had crashes before but since I installed a new livery it ruined all. I noticed that on the sticky thread that HotFix (1.00.2922) came out nearly 2 weeks ago. I could have sworn some talk about a hotfix that came out more recently. Would anyone know if there is a more recent hotfix to HotFix (1.00.2922)? Thanks.

Hi gang,I am having a auto brake disarm warning light. The quick reference handbook 14.3 said to deselect and reset but that does not work. It goes on to say do not take off with this warning.Anyone come across this problem are how to solve it. the failures are all turned off.Don Emerson
