Hello All, I need to make it Load in Cold and start Status But where to do so??? Thanks in Advance

It seems there are almost as many software packages out there as there are opinions on how to build a realistic flight plan and then import it into FSX so that ATC works with said flight plan. I have never built or imported flight plans in FSX. Now that I am flying the NGX and taking the realism to the next level I would like to. I use FlightAware to get my route info... now what do I need to do to 'build' it and import it/activate it in FSX ? Thanks in advance !

Robert/PMDG- Two Questions:1- When will the SDK be released? Im loving the NGX - but im always forgetting little things like the lights/seatbelt signs which FS2Crew helps me remember to do! 2- With the new hotfix, when it was in a beta stage I remember you saying to backup your liveries... I cannot climb with the V/S, when I select it and press the autopilot A CMD, it is not working... It won't pull up the nose of aircraft to reach the selected altitude (e.g. 7000ft). Sometimes it pulls up too the nose, but I won't maintain the altitude at the selected alt... The VNAV is working perfectly, and the LEVEL CHANGE is working fully as well. But CLIMBING WITH V/S ..... unfortunately it is not working. Any idea?? Fixes for this?? Thank you!

Ppl , I have a problem (in fact it's a friends system) the cockpit text is not clear at zoom .30 , can anyone help please. ...is there someone with painting skills (and of course assuming it's allowed by PMDG...) that could change the regnr in the virtual cockpit of SAS 737-800 WL (Freja Viking) so it correctly reads LN-RRH instead of LN-RRW? Thank you so much in advance!

Its been a week or two now since i got told by the support team that the paintkit would be uploaded. I got told - "It should be loaded up sometime in the next couple of days. I know its done, its just a matter of getting it posted." @ 06/08/2011 Come on guys this is pathetic. And there is also another problem, Half of the other paintkits like the J4100 give this error - "404 - File or directory not found. The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable." Please sort this out PMDG, This isn't funny anymore

Not to sure how this works in the PMDG----. your set to go on the runway - advance to 40percent - your throttles are in ARM -- you hit TOGO and away we go - now you get to top of climb and your throttles for me i run presicion flight controls so my throttle postion is about 1/2 way from full to idle - now for the Level D what they wanted you to do when at top of climb you would advance the throttes to full or they would not retard when it would start to decend at TOD . For the PMDG i notice when she's at Top of decent and she starts going down as planned on the FMC the throttles won't back off unless i manually retard them to idle. Does any one have a procedure or …

Is anybody else experiencing issues with REX and PMDG getting along? Specifically, my landing lights are way off kilter. To fix I reconfigured REX to not simulate landing lights, and they cam back. Next time FSX loaded. They were gone again. Any suggestions?

Does the Service Maintenance Model in the NGX simulate accelerated wear caused by abusing systems? Or, does it just take statistical data based from "System Use Time Before Service Intervals" to generate a potential failure rate? JB

Quick question for everyone... After departing, and engaging LNAV/VNAV/CMD A, my PFD displays, in the upper left, "N1" and never changes to FMC SPD. This ultimately results in my aircraft never exceeding 26,000-28,000 ft, no matter how the FMC is programmed. What switch have I missed? Started CLDDRK... Thanks,Matt Adair

FO PFD don't showing terrain data, while the captain PFD is showing the terrain.And I click on the SYS button, but the systems were not showing in the display. I need to see the brake temp. Hi to all,in spite off the CTDs and "freezes" that me too have had yesterday I got also an interesting training: after having flown some "normal" flight I've decided to train myself about V1 and Vr cuts...to test the "feeling"of the NGX...As first exercise I selected a V1-cut engine failure (engine failure before V1)...done...wow...demanding but no difficut...I've programmed a tipical Malpensa-London Heatrow flight (LIMC-EGLL) with about 150 pax and 8,5 tons of fuel (I simplified the route inserted into FMC just SID and STAR and, departing from rwy 35 L I selected as fix the Romagnano Sesia NDB (RMG) 'cause in case of an engine failure it's better to left turn pointing at…

Quick Question, Is there a way to simply chose between aircraft with winglets and without, Basically I want to simulate the BA 737-800 fictional livery and put it without winglets, then simulate the 737-400 route. If Simroutes does not have a desired flightplan you can use routefinder (http://rfinder.asalink.net/free/) in conjunction with simroutes.com.( http://www.simroutes.../showplans.aspx)1) open up routefinder and enter departure as EGSS and destination as EIDW and click 'Find Route'2) It shows result as EGSS SID CPT UL9 KENET UN14 MEDOG UL18 LIPGO STAR EIDW3) Open simroutes and click Generate routes4) Enter EGSS as departure and EIDW as arrival5) Paste CPT UL9 KENET UN14 MEDOG UL18 LIPGO into the route box and click 'Generate Route' 6) You can download this as a .rte file to your PMDG folder.

I've just installed the 'light' (free) version of Vroute and have created a route and exported/saved it as an FSX route. (The option to save it specifically for the PMDG NGX is only available for the 'Premium' Vroute edition.) Is that FSX-saved format also NGX compatible enabling me to import it correctly into the CDU and fly it without hitches? Thanks Toni.

I just tried to download the updated El Al livery from the PMDG site livery download area, but the download 'froze' (i.e. one green 'bar' then nothing....) ....just thought you should know. Toni. EDIT: Ignore - fixed now!

Hello Just after some advice on the below, is this essentially the correct order of planning I am slowly starting to put all this stuff together 1.) Identify Flight Plan route I use Vroute Premium and FSBUILD2.402.) Identify winds by either passing to Active Sky Evolution weather through FSBUILD or running the plan through Active sky to get enroute winds and weather3.) Use Topcat to work out Payload,fuel,derate etc etc4.) Add Pax and Fuel required into the 737 NGX FMC5.) Add enroute winds into FMC for legs 6.) Go Flying Trying to identify if this is a realistic flow or have I missed something or have it in the wrong order perhaps, many thanks Wayne
