after the ngx installed it tried to install direct x thing. I forgot what to do about that i went back threw the forum but i couldnt find it. Anyone care to remind me?\ThanksTyson

Hello PMDG. I purchased the NGX just when it came out, and it has been working just fine, activated and flew like a pro. But, now I just installed the SFP GOL livery, and when I open it I get prompted to activate it. If one activates the service based section on one livery or model ,will it apply to all? Or will one have to activate it per livery and or model?

flying from KAUS to KPDX i am n nearing my TD for a 28R approach to Portland. I get a message across the Nav screen that said "EFIS MODE/NAV FREQ DIASGREE" and I loose the route on the nav screen. I just shows a straight purple line forever with no fixes etc. I had the 28R freq tuned on both recievers and the course on both course indicators. Anyone know what happened?Don Emerson736-900

flyin a online leg LOWI-EDDS ..approaching Stuttgart and play arround with some STARs...select TEKSI4A for approach, edit some waypoints and failed..select teksi4a star again andhere we go .... Freeze!I am sure it has something to do with the AIRAC navdatabase..had the same problem with the MD11 before.obv PMDG planes dont like playin with SID/STARS to much.

I made these to help me fly the NGX, some of you might find these useful as well. The cards help collate all the information you need to program the FMC and AP for departure and arrival. I use Radar Contact so the cards are designed around the order that RC gives you information. The procedures are just copied from the FCOM manual but abbreviated for flying the NGX as a simmer and presented in a clearer format. If you want to skim, I've highlighted in bold the items that you need to get the plane going from PMDG's Cold and Dark panel state.

I have been flying the 900 version since the second day it was out with no real problems. I do have a couple of items I am puzzled over though. During my decent, I input the proper localizer freg and course setting. I update with Navigraph each month and use current ICOA approach plates. When transitioning to the localizer, as soon as I press either Nav or App, the course setting knob changes the localizer course anywhere from 1 to 3 degrees. There is no effect when you try to change the course knob back to the proper setting. This seems to be happening just about every approach now. All I was flying the NGX earlier on in the week for one of the first proper flights I was nicely in the cruise and browsing the web when FSX encountered a fatal error I am almost certain that this is NGX-related as my Level-D 767 never encounters this problem... Hi everyone, I have a tiny question to ask the developers, So we all know that there are multiple callout options in the NGX and I'm wondering, since in the aircraft registration file, the type of callouts is chosen by a number, like 0 and 1. So I'd like to add British Airways callouts which are the female sounding ones and I was wondering if they could just be selected by typing the next numerical value in the ini file instead of just replacing the callout WAVs. Hi, I was fumbling around to make yet another Air Berlin livery for the 737-800WL. Doing so, I ran into a small issue which results from the Air Berlin livery showing a grey stripe pretty low on the belly (Pic 1)Painting this using the paintkit, it's just a grey stripe over a reddish area (Pic2).However, in FSX, it looks like this (Pic3): Did I miss some trick here or is the pack modelling kind of messing it up?

Hi I was just wondering if anyone had experienced and problems with the TO/GO while on approach? I have tryed this many times with the same results, each time on Final I abort the landing and press the TO/GO button and immediately the frame rate drops to 4 fps Normal fps are above 25 if I continue with the go around which takes forever and finally land, the very instant the MAIN GEAR touch the tarmac frame go back to 25 and up. Hello, what is the problem Here? Sometimes when I´m feeding the CDU for a flight I get the message "Unable 250 KTS at XXXXX) Don´t no how to deal with that. As you can see there are no constraints before waypoint EKLAM. So what is wrong here? When I cancel the message it comes back again when I enter something into the CDU. Thanks,Holger

I have set the stab trim to the value of the FMC (somewhere around 5.00), but when I move the throttle forwards, then the stab trim wheel moves forwards to zero and I hear a warningsound.On the runway I have to correct the elevator trim back to about 5, else the aircraft don't want to take off.What's going wrong??? Hi, I had lots of freezes during flights, maybe once every 5 or 10 minutes, where everything froze (including gauges) for a couple of seconds, then returning to normal state.I just wanted to say how i solved the problem because i know there are others with the same issue.The problem was Microsoft Security Essencials and Superantispyware scanning in real-time while i was flying. I excluded the FSX folder on MSE and disabled SAS and the freezes are gone.Hope it can help other people with the same problem. Cheers Artur Santos

I have a strange problem. Suddenly the position lights don´t work anymore. I don´t know what is going on, yesterday they worked and now....nothing. Edit: Ok, now they work again....don´t know what was going on there.

Just wondered if anyone has a good FSBuild profile for the NGX that they would be willing to share, or any FSB profile for a 738 with winglets for that matter?
