PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

I have had a problem going "Direct" to waypoints that are in my flightplan, this has happened on multiple flights. When I have taken off following the runway heading, then make the turn towards my first waypoint. Go into "Legs" and click on the first waypoint and I always seem to get "Not in Database" - even though it evidently is (being in the flightplan), I also get the same for other waypoints in my route... Later in the flight however it seems that I can click on the waypoint or others in the route without the error coming up. Not sure if this is a bug, or something I am doing wrong. Any suggestions appreciated. G

When i config a route in the FMC from Gatwick airport EGKK to Rotterdam Airport EHRD;it freeze half way when i try to add the weather data.Only i can do is switching between menus i cannot type numbers and letter in the FMC.This half freeze happens only at Gatwick airport the airport self is FSX default. I made a video of it quality is not really good but it´s ok to see wath happens.

Hello guys and PMDG. As much as the NGX is a lovely bird to fly I'm waiting for the 6/700 Expansion. This is Roberts words before the NGX release. And i know its ESTIMATED time of arrival. But the 29th September it has gone 8 weeks since the Base Package got it's first customer and lifted up in the air. So my question is for the PMDG staff. Are we delayed much? Would like to have it too soon! :0) Joakim

don't know if this has been asked before, but it would be nice to have optional audible reference when doing CDU inputs in NGX like MD-11.

Hello all. I downloaded, installled and activated the 737NGX in my FSX. when I load the aircraft and begin the simulation, I cannot access the options and fuel menu, and the keyboard commands, save and load state and edit failures are empty. And when I finish the flight, I should go back to the initial menu of FSX. It happens, but it gets stuck, I can´t do anything anymore, and have to finish FSX in the task manager. Did anyone experience the same problem or have an idea how I could solve it? Best regards, Rafael.

I saw a topic on this awhile back but can't find it. People were complaining they could not get the Left Front Entry Door to Open although the Airstair would deploy with the aircraft powered down, even though all the other doors worked. I found a way to make it work. Go to Ground Connections and Set Ground Power to Connected and the door will open even though the Aircraft is completely powered down. This is a one way only deal. To get the door closed and airstairs retracted do the following. Shut down everything except for the battery switch. At this point retract the airstairs and close the door. Flip the Battery switch to off and your done.

Not sure if this is of interest to you all but i was having issues with CTD's when running the NGX, these would gave an error regarding NGXgauge, I run mytraffic pro After i reinstalled my PC i didn't install the mytraffic scenary and was able to complete two flights with no problems. After i added the mytraffic scenary i got another CTD (from EGCC to LGAV), i turned the traffic sliders down to 20% for Airline traffic and 25 for general aviation. After doing this i was able to complete (without any problems) the above flight. One thing that i noticed was crossing Schipol FSX memory usage peaked at 3.3Gb before falling back to around 2.4Gb after Schipol, also forwarding…

Badderjet A short while ago I asked if anyone could do a paint job of D-ATUE. You agreed with me what a fantastic livery it was. I believe you had never done any re-paints of any aircraft at that time, but decided to give it a go. Not only did you produce a first class job of ICE, but you went the extra 10 miles with all the other TUI's etc. as well! I have an interesting issue with the dome light (not quite sure which one). I'm using fsuipc4 to generate key combo presses from the CH system's buttons. All mcp knobs are set to different CTRL+SHIFT+* combinstions via the CDU PMDG menu. All working wonderful, except the Alt Dec function, I've tried out 3-4 diff key combinations (even with just one single key eg. N) to make sure its not a conflicted control, but every time I press my joy button assigned for Alt Dec, one of the dome lights go on. I' not sure which one, since the switch does not do anything. Its just the light coming on. the most interesting thing is, it only happens airborne... Or at least not at the SHORT…

Is there anyway to update it to current dates? I know it was active during august-september and it really doesn't make a difference, but i'm just wondering:)

Well, I finally splurged, and bought the 737NGX, and she is wonderful! I really like it! Now, do teh add-on liveries from the library also equip the aircraft as the respective airline does? Also, it said that the 600/700WL will come out 4-8 weeks after the base pack, is it coming soon?

I do have the minimums call out selected to "minimums" in the FMC and the "approaching minimums" one as well. But when after i dial in ann amount say 350, more often than not there is no aural call out. Am i doing something wrong? Mitch bowman

What should i do?

I "fly" the PMDG 737-800 NGX only with the cursor and AP, no joystick, no mouse. During the flight, after disconnecting the AP, it´s not possible to activate AP again! I know, that I have to set the altitude-ruder to neutral, but I don´t find the position... "5" to make all ruders neutral does not work! What can I do??? Greetings Norbert

When i engage the V/S the nose pitches way down even though i have it set to 1800 usaly, and i have to sit there and maualy trim it back to get it to go up. I know this is pilot error so i was wondering if anyone knew what i am doing wrong? thanks!

Unfortunately, his English abilities are very limited, but have experienced some issues that he hasn't found answers for yet. So here I go, trying to translate exactly what he wrote: NGX Hydraulics: When the hydraulics pressure is completely finished, I realised the rudder do not flip to one side, and the flaps do not sag down. In PMDG 744, it was very clear. When you release all hydraulic pressure, the rudder immediately flip to one side while the flaps sag immediately. Not sure whether this is a bug? Now the NGX was working fine since I've first started flying it, but now whenever I turn the battery on, my displays are *completely black*. Not until I turn on the IRS do the displays show the right thing. Does anyone know what's causing this?

Well, I've finally had what I THINK is the freezing issue others have mentioned... After 'EXECing' a route in the FMC, the whole sim froze solid. Had to use Ctrl-Alt-Del to exit, then FSX crashed. Is this the same issue?

Found in another forum someone was talking about a product for FSX called Shade and the light in the screenshots looked very nice! Being used to ENB I really miss it now with the NGX since it will cause the notorious d3d9.dll-crashes when used together with the NGX and I was hoping maybe this product could give approx the same effects as ENB did but without causing the crashes. Anyone in here tried this product out yet and could comment a bit on it?
