PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hi Folks, I've noticed on the last couple of flights that the FMC doesn't switch over to DES mode after crossing TOD, it remains in CRZ. The aircraft descends and shows the profile but N1 only decreases to 42% and the mode still reads CRZ. Any ideas whats going on? ThanksRob Wilkinson

Hi there. I encountered a problem that can't connect discon. Here is the pic. The situation is - I made a HOLD at VOATS before.After I DELETE Hold at VOTAS, I can't connect again with custom waypoint.When I try to push LSK4 then LSK3, it makes another MIA03 and discontinuity still exists.Can't DELETE discontinuity line, too. (Well it is airbus style..) Any help is welcome!!

Hello , N1 arm problem with auto pilot, I have not mounted speed . when the speed is armed, white, green, I wonder, I have tried everything. Tank you ... Magnum65

All lights on the NGX are visible (and can be switched on/off with the corresponding switches), except for the cabin lights. They don't show on the airplane. I've tried the Automatic/Manual and the 50-100% settings in the NGX Options (FMC interface), but no results. I have no idea what's causing it. Anybody having the same problem (and hopefully having the solution)?

Hi All, I am currently flying DL356 MRLB - KATL. I am out over the Gulf of Mexico right now and I just noticed something odd. I went to the Spot view to just have a look around and when I hit "S" again to go to the cabin view, it wasn't there nor were any other exterior views. So, when I hit S once, I go to spot view and when I hit it again, I'm back at the VC. My guess is that's because I'm so far from land, there are no towers or land areas to view the plane from that are near enough. Anyway, upon returning to the VC, I noticed the panel was unresponsive. The plane was still flying, but I could not manipulate any of the gauges. I could turn knobs, but they didn't have e…

Hi, Every livry on the PMDG hompage contains options. Like HGS or not, EPOS or not and so on.It works good expect the airstairs. Like the Airberlin's 737 or the Austrian' 737 they aren't equiped with an airstair in real live. But in the PMDG plane they have airstairs. I know I can easily switch them off via the FMC but should that not work automaticly?Is this an issue or does a libary only contain cockpit changes and not outside equiment? Best regards John

Dear All, I have just bought the new latest and greatest Vaio Z laptop with all the bells and whistles. It comes with 8GB Ram, latest dual core i7 processor, SSD and 1GB graphics card from Radeon - the 6650M. I presumed that with all this horsepower, I'd be able to enjoy FSX and the new PMDG 737 without problems. Surprisingly, and annoyingly, I'm struggling to get over 15fps with moderate settings on the sliders. Has anyone else experienced these problems? Is is something to do with my graphics card not being from nVidia? Many thanks in advance for any assistance... It would be good to get up and running... Cheers, Greg

Hey there, I just installed the NGX on FSX trying to make a flight. Somehow the displays won´t show any figures, e.g. speed, altitude, courses.... Is there anyone to fix that?? Thanks Greets Rob

while trying to make some changes to the Display, my screen went black. i can still hear the flight in progress, but nothing shows, complete black screen. Any Answers.

I've tryied to load the saved routes from the FMC but it seems not to work for me. After entering a route on the FMC I save it with save + activate. The process seems to work fine and I get no errors. Then I go to the CO ROUTE to load the route but I always get an error saying that the route doesn't exist. In the CO ROUTE name I'm using the departure and arrivar four lettes code. I've also tried with the codes with "01" at the end. Ex. KLAXKSFO or KLAXKSFO01 I'm doing something wrong? Regards!

Hello, I am running XP SP3 in bootcamp on an iMac with FSX SP2. I understand that when I first select the aircraft in the FSX menu, it is supposed to ask me for an activation code. However I am not given the option to enter this (it is not behind the FSX screen and my firewall is turned off). The aircraft flies properly, but is unclickable and the displays are not working. Any help would be appreciated... Thanks Jack Allison.

If anyone is interested I know Airtran is not going to last much longer, but I would love to see a repaint on this on the 737ngx! I have tried using the repaint kit and I SUCK! Just wondering, Is the cockpit of the -600/700 louder than the -800/900 because of the closer proximity to the engines when you're in the cockpit? I know i've read that the a321 cockpit is quiter than the a319's simply because of how much further back the engines are. This would seem to make sense, but an aircraft engine is loud no matter what so I'm just wondering what the facts are. Thanks, Mitch Bowman

I'm not sure if I'm just imagining this but it seems that my performance deteriorates as my flight progresses. My performance seems to be smoother at the departure airport than the destination airport. Anybody notice the same?

Today I set out to do a quick practice flight, departing and arriving from KBDL. I loaded 1/3 load of fuel, no PAX, and while I know you aren't generally supposed to, I decided to push back with the reversers since the A/C was so light. I easily got going pretty fast in reverse, backed away from the gate, and taxi'd and took off. However, once I landed and made my way over to the tarmac I wanted to use the reversers again to back up, just for kicks, but this time they wouldn't make the plane budge an inch. Any ideas on why it worked on the heavier load but not at all when it was lighter?

So, I am wondering in your honest opinions, what would be the "ultimate" machine to run FSX and PMDG planes. Tell me what would operate with all sliders to max, no stuttering in high density airports (KORD, KLGA, KLAX etc..) No memory shedding, real time weather, traffic at 100%. I am currently running the following: HP Xw 8600Intel Xeon x5450, 3 mhzQuad Core64 Bit Vista BusinessL2 Cache 12 MB8 GB RAM, DDR2-SDRAM667 MhzNvidia Quadro 5600, 1.5 GB I want to know how to kick the crap out of FSX and the 737NGX. I am not having any crashing problems but I get bad FPS in heavy density areas and I cannot run with all the sliders to max. Thanks John

Could someone link me to the latest hotfix please? I had to re-install the NGX in order to get it to work and it's really buggy and some systems don't even work right (like TCAS.) -Thanks :D

I am running Paintshop Pro x3 (PSP) and am having "out of memory problems" when trying to paint. PSP will load and give a small image of all the files except the wings and fuselage. There is a small "x" over the image. When I try to edit the files (and only these files-- the others will edit under PSP), the program runs for a little bit and then gives me an "out of memory... try to make the file smaller... ". I have a windows 7/ 64 bit system. 4 gigs of ram. I can't be running out of memory. Is anyone else trying to use PSP x3 and/or having this problem? PMDG says PSP will work so me buying photoshop is not the answer... Mike Burns
