PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hy Guys, The hotfix and all programs from PMDG now do not install. The process start but stop without changes. Someone have any tip? thanks

I have seen many times topics about aviation lights usage, but never clearly explained.Can someone give us a good explanation about aviation usage of lights(with some references - FAA or something like that)and how is applied on 737NG, some real-world 737NG pilot maybe? Thanks

Yesterday I updated the NGX with Hot Fix 3 after my first panel freeze however today while on the final approach I armed the spoilers which promptly gave a CTD with the following error referring to the PMDG_737NGX_3.DLL file. So I have my Saitek Throttles mapped through FSUIPC to assign levers for 2 throttles.But no matter how I try it, sometimes, at takeoff, when using standard TOGA, I do following:Push to some 60% N1, then press TOGA. Aftert that throttle advance, and sometimes, the throttle is going to bounce back.It's like a throttle sends a spike at the position where I left it mechanically and NGX reacts to that. Usually either left or right, then my planes starts turning on the runway... quite uncomfortable.I tried those modes in settings, A/T manual override, but no matter what I set, it happens. Any solutions?

Good FPS…but Plagued with Momentary Freeze First off, kudos to PMDG's team for putting out such a complete and realistic simulation. This is not a complaint post…rather, I really want to try to get to the bottom of an issue that's tarnishing my experience with this spectacular addon. I would think the overhead of all of this wizardry would take a toll on frame rates. Surprisingly, the performance is very good. My FPS are in the mid-30's most of the time (locked at 40). Installed the Hiotfix, and despite having an EVGA GTX 580, I get... Invalid Hardware or driver detected. This card does not meat the minimum requirements for shader support.This program requires a GeForce/Radeon 8500 class or better graphics card.FSX will now exit.

Um....Hear, not here. Sorry. And I mean ground power only. I can hear sound from the other two air carts but not the GPU. My support ticket was closed and I'm curious if everyone has this problem or is it on the list for SP1?

I hate to nitpick, but on page 530 of fcomv2, it says that the ils annunciation on the pfd is supposed to turn amber and have a dash through it when the captain and fo's courses or frequencies disagree for more than one minute. Maybe I am wrong, but if I am not, will this small detail be fixed? Thanks.(and please don't take this the wrong way, I'm just curious about this small detail).

This new (1.00.2987) hotfix brings me CTD's on ever fligt, I did not have before (apart from one when using "End flight").Typical failure warning is now an runtime error and then CTD.Under 1.00.2922 NGX was ok. Q: How can I reinstall 1.00.2922 ?pls advaise

After HF4 installed, the DATA key in EFIS won't work, somebody has this problem too?

The last five flights I've done, in five seperate aircraft, each with different confgurations, have lead to a failure of all autoflight systems shortly afte takeoff, causing the aircraft to go into an uncommanded dive at full power, twice being unrecoverable, because I was still at low altitude. Is there a fix?? No matter what I do with failures, the autoflight is the only thing that fails, and its done it the last five flights.

Hi Pmdg Team. I tried to fly out of Kai Tak ( old Hong Kong Airport ) but it is not in the FMC database.I guess if it is not used in the real world anymore I can understand the reasoning. Anyway just thought it was worth a mention. Just one other point regarding the HUG display that I noticed sometimes that if you have been flying for awhile and you bring up the display the compass at the bottom of the display looks like it disappears behind the MCP panel.

When I move the focal point of the cockpit to the radio panel the sound is different than when I make the focal point the cockpit. The sound quality is actually better if I am looking at the radio stack than looking at the displays. Anyone have any insight on this? Thanks

Hello ! After some test again, the latest hotfix doesn't fix the event flooding who cause desync and disconnect. Still crazy flooding UDP packets ... Please fix this issue, to permit people who fly on gamespy server can use your plane.

Altough I've noticed improvements with the latest hotfix, I'll have to revert to #2922 because of the CDU config pages. Realistic AP engagement and FSX Default Loc are missing and the Aircraft behavior has changed dramatically. CATIII conditions can not be simulated since it will lock to the default loc causing it to land off the rwy. Any pointers to correct this let me know. FDX706

Hey! Who has the NGX and recommends it? Can anyone tell me if it's going to be hard for a default 737 player to switch over to the NGX??? Also, it seems to be the most realistic of all the planes I've been considering... Can anyone also tell me how the Level D 767 (if they have those) and how the Captain Sim 767 757 777 (if they have those) and how the Quality Wings 757 and which one is better of the 3 brands? All I'm going to say is that PMDG got it exactly right in the 800/900.. This is not a 100/200, classic or even a 600/700 which has a different flare and touchdown technique than the 800/900.. Don't try to bring up the pitch attitude to 5 degrees while in the flare or it's going to get messy.. If you're getting a Vref that seems too high which requires a level pitch attitude or lower, which I haven't had a problem with, something is being programmed incorrectly in the CDU or there might be a glitch with a hotfix, that I don't know.. I'm wondering if the latest hotfix has anything to do with it.. I haven't installed it.. BTW. the takeoff technique is different also...
