Hi, In the NGX documentation it mentions the TEXTURE_MAX_LOAD should be set to 4096 for the NGX, but when I try to use Concorde X it complains and asks me to reset it to the dafault value (2,000 and something). Will I need to stop being lazy and change this every time I want to change aircraft or is there another way? Thanks,William Wilson

This isn't so much a problem as a mystery for me, the flaps 5 retraction bug on the PFD only shows up sometimes during take off, I can't figure out what I'm doing different during the takeoffs when it does appear and the takeoffs when it doesn't.

I have noticed with the landing gear down and the flaps at landing configuration, the wind sound seems to be overwhelming that I can barely hear RC4. Is there a way to reduce/adjust this?

Setup a flight from KLAS to KLAX ( BOACH4 HEC RIIVR2 ) with 737NGX. Although the flight completed successfully I encountered a display I was not familiar with. When received ATIS info from KLAX and said they were using runway 7L and 7R for landing and takeoff. I setup the FMC for an ILS approach to runway 7L (using ILS freq 111.10). Normally looking at the Captain's outboard display I was expecting to see the ILS freq and inbound course which I had set to 069, however I saw ICFN / 069 and once I pushed the vor loc button it changed to IIAS / 069. I have searched through the manuals and can not find what this means. If someone out there can help me with this it would be …

Is it possible to have an engine flameout, resulting in an engine failure? Each time I select the enging flame-out in the programmed failures, the engine fails shortly but then it autostarts right again, is this how a engine flameout is in a real ng? I just thought an engine flameout often resulted in a complete angine failure, but I might be mistaken :) Is it possible to get a complete engine fauliure where you would have to go through the shut down and inflight start procedures? Hi @ all! Yesterday I made a flight and after the landing I had a break temperature of 6.3.After I'm on parking on the gate, the temperature was rising from 6.3 to 6.7 is this normal on a parking aircraft?

Not sure if I've missed an option in the PMDG options/settings somewhere, but if the autothrottle is armed, shouldn't the aircraft automatically add power when the speed hits the minimum maneuvering speed (top of the yellow line on the speed tape). Maybe it's an airline specific option?

Fellow Pilots,Recently purchased yoke and pedals for the NGX, and looking for some form of guide on how to use the rudder pedals correctly. The yoke (CH Eclipse) is a replacment yoke, but the pedals are the first ever purchase.Where I am having a problem is co-ordination between using yoke and when do I use the rudder ? When turning I have found difficult to get precise co-ordination, and maybe somone can offer some pointers.Have been practising manual landings @ LXGB Gibraltar, which is an excellent airport to practise, My final approach is okay using the pedals, but my banking and manouvering is rubbish, so would appreciate any feedback.

Hi, I've noticed that when you replay your landings, you can't see the spoilers been deployed as well as the strobes operating or reversers opening. Can this be fixed ? Thank's ******* Hernandez

Hi all,I have always had this problem with the NGX, If i am on the runway and I push the TO/GA hidden button at 40% N1 at take off all is fine, but if I press the TO/GA button on a missed approach my system freezes, I was hoping the latest HOTFIX would resolve this problem but is hasn’t.Any help would be great .My system is i5 2500K running @ 4.6ghz 4gb of PC1600 ( 2x2gb sticks ) Nvida 9800GTX+ 512mb. Good day all. I was trying to find a post about reinstallation NGs on another computer but there are 260 freaking pages and after few hours of surfing I gave up. Sorry.I have bought new PC and I want to install NGs again. I have already purchased it once. Do I have to repurchase is again? Are there any discounts if I buy it the second time? I really don’t want to spend another $70 on it but as far as I know PMDG is not happy if you violate their policy and install it twice. I have been trying to reach them for a month but no luck.Any information is appreciate it.Thanks.

I'm having the problem stated in the title and I don't know what to turn down or up so I can hear RC4 and XPax better. I also don't hear the engines very much during or after take-off. Any ideas?

Hey, I just installed a pair of old 2.1 speakers. Is that normal that I don't hear all the NGX sounds ? For example I can hear the engines but not the chime sound. Yet in my hearphone I can hear both. regards Karim

PMDG announced a service pack to be ready by the 23th of september (I know, they didn't say which year).Since I have 80% of all my flights quickly ended in a CTD, that SP should fix it or I will ask my money back.It's wonerfully made but also the most unstable program I've ever used. Sad thing is that I payed hundreds and hundreds of dollars for the Chief Captain manuals. After installing the NGX I saw that the majority of the info is included with the software. I know PMDG never officialy told what would be included and what not, but they never corrected people on this forum saying that it would be minimal. Bert Van Bulck, a quite unhappy customer.

Not sure why the lettering on the panels are so faint and unreadable. This has been observed only on the NGX. All other addons are just fine. sam bertien

In all flight simulator history the PMDG 737 NGX is the most perfect airplane. Probably with all corections it will be enough to train real life pilots. Thinking about it its good to remember the problem with the IVAP needs to be solved. I don't know if it's PMDG or IVAO that needs to fix it, but its irritating all the pilots that fly in multiplayer mode. Doe anyone agree? Ticiana

I was following this checklist: http://forum.avsim.n...__fromsearch__1 I read RECALL CHECKED, and press this button ... The aircraft stop descent and do not return to descent mode never ... Why? What function has the TRIP RECALL button? How could i return to Descent? PD: I have experience in FS, and in the 737NG since FS9, but i'm not a real life pilot ...

I have now solved the freeze problems I've had with FSX and 737 NGX. The plane flies smooth and without any problems. Disable Anti-aliasing and Anisotropic. Set it to trilinear. and else follow Nick's guide at: http://www.simforums.com/forums/topic29041.html. He is explaining what and why he is doing the settings.
