Hi all A couple of years ago I used FsPassengers without the PMDG, this lead to the ability to press 'a' and then for example 37000, at which the MPC changed to FL370 Afterwards I discovered the PMDG, but this ability stopped working. Is this a known issue and can I do something about it? It would be a nice addition as instead of scrolling. Thanks!

Hi @ all! We know, there is a problem for the autoflight systems in turbulence-conditions. Especially in combination with ASE.My question: Is this problem solved with SP1? But it is not really funny to flight always without turbulence.

I have searched the forum and accessed the FCOM's, however I dont think they apply to my problem. FCOMv1, page 249 states the procedure; Estimated Wind Entries for Cruise WaypointsRTE LEGS page..................................Select Observe the DATA prompt displayed.RTE DATA page..................................Select Enter the estimated true wind direction/speed on the appropriate line(s). My problem is that I can only enter the wind data for the current waypoint and none of the others. Not only are the prompt lines on the right side of the CDU blank (I mean truly nothing there, just black), but it will not accept any brg/speed info (yes, I did it in the correct form…

The lower DU has gone blank since I installed the hotfix. Yes, it was working perfectly before the hotfix. Nothing else has changed, using the same panel options as before. Is this something I can 'fix' or is it a 'feature' not to have a lower DU with certain panel options? Please and thanks.

When I load the aircraft, the fuel temperature is off-scale and the hydraulics are overheated. I've looked in the panel state.savs, and the temperature looks normal. The fuel temp will only normalize if I start it from cold and dark. Any fix possible?

I have a request for a future update on the NGX. On previous PMDG aircraft, scrolling the mouse wheel up or down when hovering over a knob would turn the knob, even if the cursor was sut-up for pushing the button (e.g. the altimeter knob on the standby altimeter). On the NGX, if I hover over the center of the knob, all I can do is click to chnge between STD/altimeter. I have to hover slightly outside this click spot to operate the knob with the mousewheel. Things are similar to multiple other knobs in the cockpit. Also, once you start adjusting a knob with the mouse wheel, it would be great if continued use of the wheel kept turning the knob, even if the mouse drifts …

I've tried using the paint kit, but I'm not very good at it . Are there any repainters that would be willing to do a custom repaint for me? I've got a general idea of what I want, nothing too complex. Anyone looking for a little practice willing to help me out?

I was just wondering what value do we have to enter in the course selectors before take off ? I saw some videos where CRS 1 and CRS 2 were different. How do I find these values ? During the cruise do we have to change them or do we change them just for the approach ?

Hey guys, I was wondering if the latest hotfix of Sept. 25 fixed the multiplayer problem. If it did, I would buy it right now. I only fly in multiplayer so it would be a big thing to me. AdamBVA

Once again another thread dissapeared into thin air.. I guess, as it was full of opinion, that differed from PMDG's, it gets deleted, so it would seem. To just delete it, rather than lock it with an explaination, is just damm right arrogant. So..Whats was PMDG's reply to it all...2D's to be included in future releases or not ? Delete the threads all you want, but the fact is your customers who buy your products today, want 2D pop ups tomorro, I.E in future releases. This is a debate that has been duscussed on so many forums ive lost count and the fact is people still want, and use, 2D's.End of.

I crashed twice this weekend flying when the NGX was thrown into a turn that was so far outside its bank angle that the plane lost AP control and manual intervention was needed. Throughout this flight, the plane was also fish tailing it all over the sky. I was flying in the Pacific Northwest where the weather was blustery and windy throughout the region. High tail winds and cross winds from the rear quadrants of the plane caused very erratic auto pilot flying behavior.Certainly not like flying ont he real thing (I fly as a passenger on Alaska Air about 60K miles a year - and the plane never fishtales in cruise) What settings in ASE should I back down please to get to mo…

I am new to the 737NGX and am not familiar with the FMC functions to fly a route, say from Edmonton (CYEG) to Vancouver (CYVR). Can I put a plane on autopilot using the main autopilot panel for now? when I try to auto-start (FSX Default) the engines, the panel is black and I cant change any numerical values. Thanks

To all ATI card users, just alittle bit of info i have come across today. I have an ATI card and driver version 11.9 was released this evening. In regards to the NGX i have noticed slight increase on performance about 5% and when i go outside now i don't seem to get that skeleton effect. Just remember this maybe something in my system so i urge people not to take this as fact but i thought i would share. Regards Stevie

I am flying the737 with REX weather engine. The winds are constantly changing and at times making approaches impossible. Today I was landing at LAX, 24R, when I was facing a 50 kph headwind at low altitude. The winds then shifted and died at 2000 ft which resulted in a stall and crash. I have had this happen at various times at other airports but this was the most severe. I have read about the need for fsuipc with ASE but not with REX. My question is, is this a universal problem, and if so, is the only fix, fsuipc, which I don't own? Is this an issue being patched? Thanks in advance. Marc Fourneau
