I want my FSX to Use More CPU he's not using more than 60% when flying in FSX with the NGX I Have Intel i7930

If I do complete re install of NGX using newest downloaded installer, does it contain Hotfix 4, or should i install HF 4 separately...

My NGX seems to be working OK with Hotfix 3, should I wait for SP1 given posts about issues with Hotfix 4????

For users with Activesky Evolution and Registered FSUIPC I been using these settings for the past few days and wanted to test it out on Hurricane Irene first before posting. Sure had fun at KRDU and KJFK. At KRDU I had a 75 knot Head cross and flew in Sideways with the Crab Maneuver. I have the Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS and would like to map the start levers to some toggle switches so I don't have to go to the VC to start and shutdown the engines. I also have the full paid version of FSUPIC for that it's worth. I attempted to map the function to the fuel valves in FSUPIC, and while that allows me to shutdown the engines, it doesn't actually move the start levers. Anyone know of a way to get this mapped so it actually moves the levers? Thanks in advance...

Hi all! What is the best way to reduce the repaint textures (default 4096 pixel) to 2048 pixel? I tried with IRFANVIEW and generelly it works but unfortunatelly there after the cabin lights are missing :-( Any idea? Thank you in adavanced!

Is the 2800 ft TCAS vertical separation that is set by default in the NGX a realistic value or do I need to change it to make sure I have a NGX TCAS that is as close as possible to how the real TCAS works? Did a search on the subject but seems to be lots of different answers floating around and I'm not sure which one is the correct one...

Just made a perfect landing at 24L at LEPA from ESSA on a flight that was just perfect in every aspect, the NGX behaved just like it should with no problems what so ever and with full ATC coverage almost all the way with great air traffic controllers! Started with Stockholm Control, then was passed over to Copenhagen Control and then Bremen Radar, Langen Radar and then some time on my own on UNICOM before I entered Barcelona Radar airspace before I was finally handed over to Palma de Mallorca Tower when ILS established on 24L. I read in a post written by a real NG driver here in the forum that the recommended method turning off the autobrake after landing is to lower the speedbrake lever. Is this simulated in the NGX?

Installation went great, no problems!Livery's program no problems, after i figured out one had to unzip the downloaded livery file.I can see the NGX aircraft in FSX . Well obviously we have the option of adjusting various colours for lights and displays in the VC, through the '737NGX_Colors.ini'. The question is HOW?! Presumably the values represent RGB numbering, but I have no idea how to use that to achieve different colours. Is it just hit and miss, or is there more logic to it? All I'd like to change is the white panel flood lighting, to a more orange colour. Anyone figured it out and can advise?

Hi guys, When in a cold/dark state you can press and hold the menu button to power up the cdu to get the menus for ground connections/fs actions etc. Is there a similar hidden command to turn off the CDU in similar fashion? Thanks

As someone else said I know the latest hotfix is to be considered as beta and "use at your own risk" so this is in no way meant to be anything else than a report that something just doesn't seem right. I keep getting these errors and even before powering the a/c up from it's cold & dark state but only by panning around for a minute or two sitting at the gate. I think I will re-install the NGX using the latest RTM version and then wait for SP1. I have just bought the PMDG 737NGX for FSX. When I try to install it, there is an error: unable to locate fsx.exe, unable to install. I have already tried the tip given by others, to run trough the registry repair tool (http://www.flight1.com/view.asp?page=library) How am I going to fix this? Is there a way I can manually select the fsx.exe file in the install program? Help is much appreciated. Kind regards, Jeffrey.

So, every flight every few minutes, my NGX like stutters, then freezes, then goes then does this cycle and will stop after a while...why?

When checking the route in PLN mode, the STEP> prompt at LSK 6R is present on the Captain's CDU (and also on the shift-3 popup). Yesterday I thought I'd try using the FO's CDU instead, and although everything else seemed OK, the STEP> prompt (and associated <CTR>) failed to appear when in PLN mode. Is this case on the real aircraft, or is it an NGX "feature"? Cheers, Brian

Hey folks I was hoping the 737-BBJC will be considered for one of the expnasion packages. The BBJC is a 'BBJ'ized version of the 737-700C Combi. To me that has to be the ultimate 737...BBJ range with Combi loading...kind of like an oversized PC-12 :) CheersTJ

Hello,i noticed that the panel flood lights and the dome lights are cold white (like fluorescent lamps or white LEDs) in the PMDG NGX simulation. On videos and pictures of the real one (and also in the old PMDG NG), the lights have a warm, yellow touch (like incandescent lamps).What is the reason that they are cold white in the NGX?

All of a sudden my HGS no longer displays when I pull down the display unit. I'm sure it has something to do with something I've done (a fat fingered keystroke or improper click) because I've made no changes to any of the files on the computer or settings in FSX.Thanks.A. Olcese

I see have reported issues with uncommaned rolls after disco the AP. I have thart same issue but only on saved flights done after the latest SP. I can re-start a saved flight from the prior SP, no issue. But, starting a flight saved since the latest SP - once I disconnect the AP and input the slightest control movement the yoke goes hard right and stays there, no matter what. I have several saves from the same flight and so far it happens on all them I have tried. I know it is not a controler issue - the "old" save, as well as everything else, works fine, going to a new save and its out of control. Thanks. Joe Lorenc
