hey, im taxiing and my brakes dont work, they are totally cool and i just loaded the plane. but I cant use them to stop, or even place the parking break, its really weird.

Hi, I was fortunate enough the other day to be put in the cockpit due to a totally overbooked SAS 736 operating the engm/lfpg leg. I had plenty of time to observe how the crew worked and it's always facinating to be where it all happens, first time in an NG though. I noted a couple of things they did differently as apposed to my SOP's :) 1. They always set DA even when shooting an ILS, unless it's a CATII minima. I always set DH accordingly when on an ILS approach2. Hello, Since HF4, it appears the aircraft BOUNCED during autoland. I can reproduce that everytime.I tested with a weight of +-140000 lbs, flaps 30, speed 146knts (FMS calculated). I'm sure there was not this "rebound" before HF4 Is it realistic ? Advice from a real NG pilot would be welcome. I understand there were some changes in the setting of the AOA. Dear PMDG Team, to manage hardware displays like the VRInsight MCP Combo make show up the correct Autopilot values, we need urgently LUA outputs like they are in the JS41. Maybe this is sth you could implement quickly for the upcoming hotfix or service pack. I have not great hopes to see my wish fullfilled, but maybe there's a slight chance ....Many thanks! Günter

Hey all!I seem to be struggling to work out how to get the planes APU working on the ground so I can do the pre flight checks?!It's my understanding you don't need the battery on to operate the APU! It's driving me insane?Does anyone happen to know where to find the ground ops procedures in the manual?!

I am having 2 problems that I cant seen to fix, 1: Every flight around when I push back, I get an overheat warning for the ELEC HYD pump 1, it only started about a week ago and its been every flight since, as far as I can tell, I am doing nothing different. I have to go into the aircraft failures menu and turn it off. 2: This happens on about half my flights, the yaw damper light stays on, and I get a FLT CONT warning, again I cant tell what I am doing differently on the flights when it happens.

I was getting ready to do a night flight on VATSIM and began seeing some weird textures inside the VC. At first, I thought another AC had spawned in on top of me, but on closer inspection, it was just my plane duplicating itself. Inside the VC, I could see the outlines of pilots moving around and outside in the spot view, I could see two planes one on-top of the other. This all occurred after applying the UIAutomationCore.dll to the FSX folder, so I removed it and tried restarting FSX and I began getting the .dll fatal error on start-up.

Hello, just landed at glasgow useing a loaded flight plan everything was perfect... when on finals i clicked the app button entered the landing speed of 151 and 30flaps then pressed CMD B it landed perfectly but i could not see land 3 anywhere?what did i do wrong and if so why would it then do a perfect auto landing?many thanksjames.

I'm trying to get the aircraft up and running from cold and dark "by the book". If I follow the normal procedures in the FCOM (at NP.21.10), however, the F/O preflight procedure calls for the yaw damper switch on followed by verification that the yaw damper light is off. No doubt the mistake I'm making concerns the state of the aircraft at this point, but if I'm starting from cold and dark, when I'm doing this step as prescribed, both engine-driven and electric hydraulic pumps are off. Consequently, the yaw damper light does not extinguish and the switch trips back to off. What troubles me is that I thought that the electric pumps did not go on until after pushback to a…

Because Im in Australia and have FTX scenery and Orbx AI traffic, I would like to know if there is a repaint for the virgin Australia 737 in both or either the red or white paint scheme?If there is, I'll be 70 bucks poorer!!Let me know Cheers

Flying the tutorial one from EGKK to Eham I checked the NDB's along the way however to my suprise the ADF needlle floats at least 30 degree to each site of the course towards the NDB. Closed FSX after these first flight with the 737NGX and did a check from EHAM to EHRD as there are some NDB's around EHRD. The same happened with STAT, ROT and NV NDB. This is NOT the case with other aircrafts. The ADF needle is moving like a screen wiper around the course of the NDB. It seems a random movement but deflection is not larger the 30 degrees and most of the time smaller with a period time of one to two seconds depending on swing of needle. Simply LOVE the depth of the simulation of this bird.Was doing some tests with the autoslat system yesterday with the -800, above the sea just out of Coffs Harbor at FL140.With flaps at 5°, the LE slats are in the (intermediate) extend position.First test, I kept on looking over my left shoulder (Yeay for TrackIR! ) while the airspeed dropped. At stickshaker speed, the slats went automatically to the full-extend position, as they should.Speeded up again, slats retracted to the intermediate extend position. Perfect.Then I pulled the throttles back to idle again and monitored the LE Transit light. But... at stickshaker speed... Nothing! Quick look over my shoulder, yup th…

Hi,FMC.A while ago i made a route from EKCH to ENGM with TO from RWY 22R.Wanted to fly the same route yesterday but this time with TO from 04R.But when i load the route and pick RWY 04R it says "runway n/a for sid".....How can i change TO from RWY 22R to 04R ? (and then pick the correct sid)Regards / Steen.

Not sure if this discussed before but I've noticed that it is nigh on impossible to get optimum altitude of FL410 even with zero payload and just a couple ton of fuel. Also I've noticed that payload does not seem to affect optimum altitude i.e. does not change whether max payload or zero. Fuel load does affect as expected. Am I off the mark here or has anyone noticed this anomaly. Thanks in advance. Mark McNulty

I've recently started to look into building a pit, and while project magenta and others do seem nice (although expensive) they don't come with a flight model. For the moment I'm just interested in being able to display pmdg gauges on a different screen. I can do it If I click on them but, they then dissapear from the virtual cockpit. (I already posted about this in the general forum) Does anyone know if the pmdg gauges could be shown on another screen (MCP, EICAS and nav displays) without them dissapearing from the vc? I did a search, found zillion posts and have no idea where to start.I did have P3D on my system, did a NGX test there, since I removed it, my FSX NGX has black screens. Registration on reinstall doesn't appear.Reinstall doesn't help.Any ideas?!?? AND: I can't post a ticket. Says "connecting" and that's it.

Hi all i have a problem that occured yesterday, i've bought the NGX on the first day it came out like most of us here.anyways i've flown it, never had any problems with it thus far.i changed my windows 7 from 32 bit to 64 bit and installed everything and ofcourse the NGX to. started flight sim and then this problem occured i can hear the sound but nothing else works i tried re-installing but nothing helps i've looked on google for any possible solutions but i can't find any. so is there any one that could help me with this problem? these are my specs btw, AMD six core 3.2 Ghz 1090T 8 Gb RAM and Geforce 460 GTX cyclone. sorry for my english. cheers Jeffrey

I have been getting this alot lately, when I load up the flightsim I can touch the flightsim menu as much s I want during flight and nothing happens (ops normal). When I land, I prepare the aircraft to fly to another leg without exiting the sim. Take off is ok, after a short while in the CRZ, if I go and select the menus of FSX, say I want to adjust the sound,the flight sim suddenly stops responding and restarts. Do you guys get this or ever tried doing the above? The aircarft has been working flawlessly, but this occurs often. On the other hand if I don't touch the menus the sim continues to operate perfectly.

Hi guys, Did a search in the forum for this but way too many results to go through. I did a flight from CYOW to KBOS yesterday. All was fine until I reached the Localizer at KBOS. To my surprise, no runways in sight (what???). On my EFB and on my Nav instruments everything was ok. Cought the localizer and GS. Reading the instruments, everything was set for a perfect landing. I then get to descision height...still no runway in sight, no lights no nothing but the airport terminal is there.
