I just put in the change of texture_max_load line in fsx.cfg to 4096 (suggested by PMDG) vs. the default of 1024 and wow! things look better and even the sky is better..is this true??!? It has no effect on performance either right?

Hi, I recently purchased Aivlasoft's EFB and when creating a new aircraft file it asks for "Descent angle above 10,000 feet (degrees)" and "Descent angle below 10,000 feet (degrees)". I am wondering what values to enter here for the NGX? Thanks, Will Wilson

My setup is as follows: FSX Operating SystemWindows 7 64 biti7 2600 processorNvidia GeForce GT530 2gb Memory8 gb DDR# Ram When I run PMDG 737NGX after approx 20 - 30 minutes my graphics card freezes to a black screen, the computer also freezes, and requires shutting down and restarting. One strange thing is that a fan begins to run at the same time as the graphics card failure (possibly due to overheat?) I have followed the instructions regarding the settings in the provided PMDG introduction. The same does not occur with all my other commercial add ons, i.e. wilco ifly LDS etc, they all run without any issues. Can someone help?

As the title says. Also, I suck at holding cameras steady, voice acting, and remembering the correct FAJS altitude - I said 5556', it's 5558' dammit! Posted because there was some confusion about this (and indeed my explanation only mentioned one detent, but it's more like two) and somebody asked me to try and catch it on video. Let me know if a) you can actually see/hear what is actually going on, and b ) if there is anything else I can get while I happen to have my video camera with me.

Hey all,I have the original brought version of the NGX? I've noticed a different panel in the tute from tomDo I need to install updates? If so how many do I need to get since the original release!? And what's involved in installing them?!

Simple question here. Is there a way to modify the "time until next service" in the Panel State Save file? I know you can modify all the other variables of the panel state in your \PMDG\PMDG 737 NGX\PanelState folder, but I couldn't find a variable that changes the "time until next service" line. Specifically, on the FMC, under serviced based failures, it says I have 277 hours until my aircraft's next service. I'd like to change that number, does anyone know how? Thank's for your help!

Hello All. I have recently bought this aircraft, on page 12 of the introduction manual, it states where you change the Graphics section, by adding a line and again in the display section. Does this interfere with anything else either in the FSX program or anywhere else? I only have kindergarten level knowledge with computers so thought I had better ask before making any changes to a cfg file. I have bought the pmdg and now noticed that the 2d panel is only for widescreen monitors. is that true? I would like to fly with a 2d panel but i dont have such a monitor. please fix this issue as soon as possible and forward a normal screen panel to all users. I am really angry because this was not mentioned anywhere. A widescreen monitor is something special and therefore - in my opinion - this has to be mentioned before buying the airplane best reagrds Markus

Hello, When selecting Radio from Baro on the EFIS, 9980 always is displayed as the selected value instead of 200. Any ideas why? Or should I be doing something different. Thanks Steve

Hi @ all! When I load the plane with the fms-loadeditor, the FMS calculate the CG value. So, a very curious thing:When I overwrite one value of the cargo payload with the same value than the CG is changed. Why?When I use the same values every time, why does the CG is changing?

Hey Guys, Back again.... On my 12th flight with the NGX today i have a problem with the minimum settings when I turned the switch from BARO to radio the radio setting was at 8999, now that would take a while to get down to 100 its happend twice and just wanted to now how to fix it or how to get down to 100 quickly. Since i installed the latest hotfix, FSX keeps crashing! Drives me crazy! PMDG_737NGX.DLL_unloaded is the problem. Anyone having the same problem? I tried to do a new installation of the NGX, but nothing helps. At the supportdesk they told me to uninstal/instal FSX... After the new installation a popup comes up, i filled in my license-code, flew 1 perfect flight, but if i start FSX again i got the same problem. Anyone any ideas? Thanks!

Due to me experimenting with raid 0, i have had to reinstall the NGX a few times, and have run out of activations, something as far as i am aware was not told about that it could happen, unless i missed something in the quick start guides and manuals, is there any way i could get this reset? Hi everyone, I am pretty excited about it, but now this causes even more pain. I tried two ILS approaches. Half way through after intercepting, the panels freeze! In addition to that, it seems that she is out of control after that, as the controls too freeze in whatever state they are in, causing the plane crash somewhere before the runway. Any ideas?
