Has anyone painted the retro liveries for the Alaska Airlines -800, American Airlines -800, and Continental -900 (I believe it might be a -900ER so this one should wait until PMDG releases the ER package)?

I was confuse about what time need to retraction or extension flap.Q1. During takeoff has "1"bug in speed tape is mean i need select flap1 before reach this bug? Or after this bug then select flap1? Q2. During landing select flap 5 for "1"bug in speedtape was need to current speed is below "1"speedbug? Or can select flap in first then decelerating speed?

How do I start from scratch after making mistakes when entering information into the FMS? I had understood that entering the same airport as both Departure and Arrival cancels all the settings but that doesn't appear to be the case. Cliff Harris

I'm using a custom start-up panel setting. It has been set several convenient switches on like before start status.It contains MKR switch, too. After takeoff, I can't hear Beacon sound when marker sign showed in PFD.When I turn the MKR button off and on again, the sound is working properly. There're few switches Saved Panel state cannot load. (trim, com freq)But seems this have to be fixed.. right? - Can't hear marker beacon sound when loaded panel state that has set MKR button already on.

Hi, when I look at the aircraft from the tower at night, all aircraft surfaces illuminated by lights (tail, side fuselage, engine cowls) have polygons over them that flicker tremendously (in the attached pic you can see those black polygons). Is it only me or anyone else can reproduce that? This only happens with the tower view and at a certain distance.Thanks.

Hi I have a small problem that I need some help.I use simroutes for my flight pln. then I saved in pmdg/flightpln/ngx folder and the flight pln becomes a rte.today I enter the following klrd to ksan I save it as normal but went I tried to load the company route it tells me that the route is not valit.so I look in the file and I found the flight plan in the following format. klrd-ksan.plnso how can I correct these problem. any help I will appresiated.

Hi pilots,experimenting with grapgics setup for a while now.I was using the recommended setups from PMDG and various others from here:http://www.venetubo.com/fsx.htmlandhttp://www.simforums...topic36586.htmlandhttp://www.friendlyf...&threadID=20989 (German) Compared to a stock 737-800, VC of the PMDG NGX eats up almost 10 frames/sec here.Same setup, location, weather etc. just switching the aircraft. At PMDGs 738 i get an average around 17-20 fps, with others ~30+ fps (Frame limiter tool set to 30fps) Normal ?, or any way to optimize that. System specs: see signature Oliver BTW: no CTD's or OOMs since SP 3 or 4 ;-)

I know this has been discussed before, but I was wondering if there was a resolution or at least acknowledgment that there is a known issue (or perhaps I'm doing something wrong): At some airports, I find the aircraft does not track towards the runway on an ILS approach. Recently, I tried ILS13 @ CYQR. Both NAV radios were tuned to the ILS frequency, I set course 135 on C and F/O MCP and the FD led me substantially to the right of the runway. Note the "auto-set FSX course" feature is enabled in my settings. Autoland also abandons the approach part way down... Is it a requirement that I get the magnetic variation BGL that's a sticky on these forums? Thanks folks,Sam Kharey

I find it very hard to manually conrol the speed and hit all the flap setting correctly on the 737. It seems (per the chart in the manual) you only have 10 kts between lowering the flaps from 5 deg to 15 deg, then another 10 kts to 25 deg and vRef 30 and Vref 40 (flaps 30 and 40) are soooo close.And say Vref is 137kts the chart says Flaps 15 at Vref 40 + 20. Atsay 160 KTS and flaps still at 10 deg, I am at 7.5 degrees nose up and I hear the drinks spilling in first class.I guess my question is: Is really realistic to hand fly an approach and manullay controlling the speed - or is this too much of a feat for a mere mortal. I love this product, but i still get low fps in complex airports - around 9-15.....which is intolerable (medium settings, no DX10 preview)is this my specs? the graphics card? my addons?I followed all the tweaks availabe, even the one that amends the CFG. i get this low FPS mainly with the 737ngxmy addons: PMDG 737ngx, 747 and MD-11 Ultimate terrain X REX2 ASE my traffic x (can this be the problem? any other recommended ones?) some Aerosoft mega airports some FSDT airports EZDOK TRACKIR5 registered FSUIPC AES all legit...please help.....

Was doing touch and goes for hours a few nights ago and my wife was listening to music as I was doing this. Heard this song and thought it conveyed the feeling I got from flying this great plane. I work as a surgeon and simming is a complete escape for me.I just can't stop smiling every time I fly her!Check out the head shake effects at 2:30, saw it once on a real recording of a 747 landing at St. Maarten with the pilot's handycam shoved up against the canopy. Hello,Some days I degragged my HDD for increased performance in FSX. Immediately after defragging I checked how much space was left on my HDD. Before defragging that was 360 GB, and after defragging 348 GB!? I thought it was supposed to make free space on my HDD. When I started FSX there was also some slight performance loss. I'm using the programm Ultimate Defrag, I'm using the default settings and just click "Analyze", and let it do it's thing. After defragging, the image of my HDD has turned totally green. Are there some specific settings i need to use in order to get the best performance out of FSX? Any help would be appreciated.Thanks in advance,
