You can read this and tell me i'm dreaming, I probably am, but I was half way through a flight last night from Sydney to Gold Coast when I decided that was it for the day. I remember looking at the oil level as I paused the game and I could have sworn it was 90% L and 89% R. When I decided to finish my flight today, 20 hours later, the oil level was 75% L and 55% R. Now I am either losing the plot or the the oil level kept dropping even though the game was paused. I checked my maintenance hours on the CDU and they hadn't changed. Is this a bug or just my over NGX'd brain? Brett

I love flying KLM these days! Schiphol is never boring with it's multiple runways. I do how ever find landing there using the rules I have in my charts, quite a pain in the neck. There is a restriction of height and a rule to fly the most time with out flaps at the lowest speed possible, then put flaps on below 2000 ft. and gear down below 1200 ft. This is one hair raising approach experience almost every time.Last night I was tired and flying, and landing at rwy06 was almost impossible if I fly by the rules in the STAR. When go to casperflights.com though I see that the approach done in the real world could care less about the rules I am referring to. They descent as rap…

Oct 18th 2011 is the 5 year Anniversary of the release of FSX. (at least in the USA) Is there any interest in a Mass PMDG 737NGX "Multiplayer flight" the following weekend, to mark the occasion ( and hopefully by then, also to "Celebrate" PMDG 737NGX SP1) Getting 50+ (100+) PMDG 737NGX's in a session would certainly be a EVENT, especially if they all arrived at say KJFK in the same hour !!! Now REALISTIC would that be !! Anyone up for organizing such an event ??

I was zooming on the CDU during my last flight and I noticed this little issue : As you can see on this screenshot, just behind the speed brake lever and just at the bottom of the CDU, I can see the ground thru the hole in the red circle !!!!!!It's like the floor of the cockpit is missing here. Can anyone shed some light on Polar Operations in the NG series aircraft? Not even Polar operations but let's say just northern ops - ie: a flight from Yellowknife to Cambrige Bay or along those lines, where true heading is he name of he game. I believe there is an op spec for the NG which allows ops beyond 70ish degrees. Not sure if it involves an equipment package or perhaps just procedures.I for the life of me can't find a heading reference selector anywhere... I'm pretty sure they exist. That's basically all I need. Supposed to be on the aft overhead somewhere...

Hi Guys Not had time lately to browse the forums but had a small issue since getting the NGX on its release. I have it updated to Beta 3 but still have an issue with the zoom level of the HGS.All videos I have seen and screenshots show its displayed content quite small i.e. it all fits no problem within the display area but not on mine. If I zoom out to 0.40 or in to my normal 0.8 it always appears too large and cropped, I have to move my position way forward so my nose is almost touching it before I can see everything like looking through a small window. I'm using TrackIR. Ive reinstalled it and also gone back to Windows XP x64 as I was sick of the Black Screens of De…

Hi, Where can I find the hotfixes that have been released for the PMDG 737-NGX, I checked the pinned topics but don't see anything. I just installed Windows 7 64bit and FSX. I then installed PMDG's 737NGX and now FSX crashes everytime I try to load the PMDG 737NGX.

A wee distraction I know from the forum but something I think you might be interested in seeing. A hard landing on this DC-9 darn near knocked the engines off the jet. Scroll down the page and have a peek at the pictures. Quite a sight. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/09/27/aeropostal-dc95-hard-landing_n_983781.html?icid=maing-grid7%7Caim%7Cdl22%7Csec3_lnk3%7C99866

In FS9 I get with the PMDG 737-800 during take-off call-outs for Vr and V2. I miss this in the 737NGX. Furtheron the FMC give a warning sound for instance when I have to change the MCP altitude. This is on the 737NGX also missing.Do I have to change a setting or is this a normal situation? Werner Verwaal

The navigation lights by night (737ngx) don't seem to be very bright. Is this a limitation or FSX setting? I would like to have brighter navigation lights if possible. What do you think about it ? GreetingsFabrice

sirs, I haven't still understood if in the SP1 update will be incleded the reduced textures for the cockpit... It's very important for me, because I have only 2 gigs of ram, and redeuced textures (faster load I think) will let m use the ngx. because I think that's a must have addon for any simmers... also for me that I cannot upgrade my ram :-/ thanks

I have not been able to get an answer to this on the EZDOK forum, hopefully someone here has an answer. Since EZDOK deletes the use of the num pad 1 key, how do you get a yoke elevator trim button that uses the 1 key to work? Thanks for any thoughts. Tom Hibben
