PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hi, Well to be honest i always fly with the ENB series enabled and actually i did not test it without because when flying the maddog i did not noticed any performance differencies. But i have just testet in Frankfurt in VC and there is a drop in FPS about 15%. Might help turning off on approach in the big airports like EGLL and EHAM. I have not any problems with the ENB , seems like there is a lot of people getting the D3D9.dll error but not here /Michael

I do normally setup the FMC and save the flight before start engine and then open it when I have time to fly but with the NGX the VNAV don't engage once in clb, it's like is resetting altitude calculation done before, but on the ground all altitude are set and check.The only solution is to change the flightplan like runway or waypoint even in the air and then the Vnav works fine.I don't know if it's a bug but it's a strange behave.IMHO

I have testet alot of flights with the NGX between LSZH-LOWI and always ends up in a CTD G3D.DLL at OEV16/8500 feet even with the new 1.20 LOWI. My setup is a I7-950@4,2HD5870 1GBSSD win7 64Raptor 300GB FSX driveASUS P6X58D PremiumCorsait H70 cooler Now the big question for me is "why the heck is it in the same spot everytime?" 16 miles to go in clear sky and nothing seems to stress the GPU? Well i dont know the answer to this but i found a workaround without lowering the sliders in FSX. There is a catch and it is lowering or disable your AA. After work yesterday (I'm working on an airport) I got the chance to sit on jump seat a few legs and home.While flying we talked a lot about the difference between the -800W compared to lighter 737s.The -800W is known to be an amazing glider, that's for sure, but after a demonstration of a "steep" approach (5000ft QFE/12nm) I have some questions for the PMDG 738. As you see on the picture, the landing gear is out and flaps is set to 5. Still the N1 is 32.7%. If I try to do this in the sim, when extending the gear, N1 increases to about 40%.I didn't get a picture of it, but in this real 738, N1 stayed at 32% even when flaps were set to 15+... Hi Will sp1 for ngx resolve any issues with ivap.I ask because i sent PMDG a support ticket on the subject and the reply was it was an issue with the P2P within ivap however when i asked about this on ivao forum they did not agree.I have looked on this forum now for sometime as well as others and from what i can see the subject is being avoided (sorry if this is not the case but it seems that way).Me and my friend Richard Wells have tried different ideas put out by other people with the same issue but with no sucess. Hi Folks,I'm just wondering if anyone else has been having issues with the NGX and the REX Weather Engine. I've noticed especially in cloudy/windy situations that the NGX falls into stutters. Also, sometimes the A/T will begin to overcompensate and accelerates the plane way past where the bug setting is. I'm running FSX on a 2008 Macboook Pro with Bootcamp. 2.4 GHZ Intel Core 2 Duo. I haven't had this issue with other aircraft but was curious to see if others have experienced it.Thanks!

Before quitting fsx when flying 737 NGX I save the flight but when I try to restart the sim again I keep getting a fatal error and fsx crashes to desktop. This keeps happening and the only way to restart fsx is to delete the saved files from the my Docs FSX folder. If i save the flight using any other aircraft besides the 737 ngx it doesn't cause the sim to crash. Any ideas out there guys has anyone else had this problem and if so how do we fix it? anybody know why I get a blue radial line sweeping up to +30 degs and -30 degs either side of the route to the next waypoint? this line appears then disappears as the flight progresses, there is no effect on the flight path. any comments welcome brian s

Dear Sir,i have tried several time to run 737NGX with FS co pilot (Fs Inn) and every time after the climbing to @FL180 and above it gradually stop climbing and the outbound Du start going up and down between 0-400 and CDU legs page fl level all so start flickering to dots..... ad fl24000 and to top of the climb indicates around 650Nm. CDU gives the message “Buffet Alert” What is it? The Speed start dropping to almost 200@ FL240 why is this???When i fly without Co pilot (Fs inn) it’s perfect, and tried with Squake Box no problem.I do fly PMDG 747 with Fs Inn no problem. i have done almost 500h with 747i am using FSXFs Inn is very good please help me with this problum

Hiya Guys, Was wondering if there is a list of all the NGX specific Keyboard commands available somewhere. I really would like to map the commands to various buttons and leavers. Now the problem is not mapping to individual buttons but ...what do I map..all i have to go with is the fsx sim commands or NGX mouse cliks RegardsDerick

Is the flight model different from the fs9 version ? and if so what are the differences and can you tell when you hand fly the new ngx? How close is the NGX flight dynamics to the real NG? Regards Joe Broadman

Just wanted to say Thank You to PMDG and show them my support for what they have accomplished with the NGX. There seems to be alot of "bandwagon fans" here who love them when things go their way and then are ready to stab in the back when things don't. Anyways, not what I want this topic to be about, Just a simple thank you to PMDG and that they will always have my support.

As far as SP1 is concerned, 150+ specific items updated/corrected is a significant number, and therefore it is hardly surprising that it should take some time. While in my flight this evening, I had to be away from my computer near TOD, so I just set a lower altitude on MCP like I usually do and let VNAV take care of the descent for the few minutes I would be away. I have had to do this before and aircraft descended on its own with no issue and I'm sure I set everything properly as I always have... made sure VNAV was engaged, lower altitude set on MCP, flight directors and autothrottle on. Anybody know why the plane did'nt start descent at TOD? Should add that I was about 30nm away from TOD when I set lower altitude. I'm thinking I must have been too far back, but i'm not sure.

Hi,I have a problem. Since the 4th August I own the PMDG 737NGX and until now I didn't have any problem.Now for the first time since I got the NGX I wanted to make a traffic pattern with Aerosoft's Airbus X again. After I did this I wanted to load the NGX again, but since I flew the Airbus X my flightsim will always crash when I try to load the NGX.I have been flying many other small planes during the whole time period since I got the NGX and I can still load any other aircraft I want to. So this must be an Airbus X/737NGX specific problem. Please fix this as soon as possible so that I can fly my NGX again!RegardsEmi

Captains- Okay- so folks are always asking why we never give you release information... This week is a classic lesson on "why PMDG never gives out scheduling information" so I thought I would give you a quick update: Lets get the bad news out of the way first: We are delaying the SP1 release and the 600/700 release for AT LEAST one week, possibly as many as two. If the minimums are not set or not set properly (RA or BARO), will it cause the cancelation of "Autoland" and force a manual landing ? I understand that the "Minimums" callout will not be heard. Thanks,Zach

Dear PMDG simmers, I may have missed the topic in an earlier statdium. Notwtithstanding my search, which has come up negative, I am giving it another shot. I have been flying the 737NGX since the release date at which that time I did hear call outs for pushback, V1 (?) and VR. However since a couple of months subject sounds have disappeared and no matter where I look or what I try I cannot get them back. Please help me and point me i the right direction. Dirk M. Karmelk

Hello,after the Hotfixes I notice that during climb ops in both VNAV & LNAV,the plane tends to rock up and down(oscilating) constantly, I suppose to keep the required climb speed? Anyone having this problem as well? I have loaded the plane via fmc as required. I did have this problem before the Hotfix!Another question to PMDG staff - If I do uninstall the NGX, or format, and reinstall, do I need to use the same activation code sent via e-mail after purchase?
