Hi,I would be intrested if someone knows a few things about that questions:1.[FMC] After takeoff I want to change my destination for example because of an emergency. In the Dep/App Page I can overview the aproaches for my airport from which I started or and there is also the posibity to write the ICAO code in the scratchpad and hit the right LSK beside the last right line. However I get a list of approaches and runways as expecdet to but nothing happens when I hit the LSK beside it. I don't know exactly but I would expect the runway/approach would be set and ready to execute via the execute button but I can't get the runway/approach selected. Ideas?2. [FMC] On the Takeoff…

G'day- I'm looking to record a quick 1-2min video (in 720) showing a manual AIII landing on a CatIII ILS in minima wx..My reasoning is that I would like to study it and nail manual landings in minima..I have had some pretty successful attempts, but like a few others, I seem to experience freezes as I follow the + (flare command) up to the horizon..So if someone with some skill could generously record a nice smooth video of just the HUD in AIII mode, and upload it to YouTube in 720, it would be greatly appreciated (preferably showing from auto-transition to AIII mode right until a complete stop).Thanks, and hope to hear from someone who can help!Cheers,Tom

Just a note on what has helped me. Every time I went to fsx menus while 737NGX was active I would get corrupted graphics upon my return. Good day all. I had re-installed my NGs and found that airplane behavior is not the same anymore, hotfix included. All settings are same as before. One of the problem is when I enter push distance, let's 50, it pushes back almost half a mile . When I enter to turn nose 90 dgrs it wont turns 90, it stops somewhere between 50-75, also it is shown total distance about 500 ft, what the...?? I pushed 10 times in a raw today to fixed that, no luck. Several times it kept pushing till I terminate the flight. That is odd to me. It was fine before. Hello guys I've just started having CTD (last couple of days), Around the Manchester/Liverpool area, one was when i was turning off the runway after landing at Liverpool and others have been on climbout and decent into Edinburgh (over Manchester area) I dont have any scenery for manchester and i have UK2000 Liverpool Extreme, but have flown there before in NGX and had no problems, It's now CTD on most flights. hello, I am running 6 screens on the same computer on a I7 2600K eyefinity and matrox on same video card. My question is : I want to use the PMDG 737 NGX on EYEFINITY TOP SCREENS.Then I want to show 2D cockpits panel on the 3 lower screen (generic setup).On some of the Addon i own it works....on some other it won't.i was told by a friend that pmdg 737NGX will only show it's PFD and ND... either on the 2D cockpit or virtual cockpit but not both at same time.Anything could be done about this? Hello, I got PMDG B737NGX and wanted to fly with it.So I selected ngx and started a flight.FSX was paused as the Tutorial shows. So I waited until the process completed about 20 seconds. When the process ended, I found a FMC of captain not working. The display was black and no button worked.I looked at another FMC. "SINGLE FMC OPERATION" was displayed at the bottom line.Then, I loaded every panel states (except C&D), but there were no changes.I had the FS reset and watched the FMC during the Set up process. Is the interior lighting color controlled by a texture or would it need to be changed in the colors ini file that people are using to change cockpit color? I'm working on interior textures with "sky interior" style lighting, but they don't seem to display the way I'd like at night. Here are my day shots.

Fellow Pilots, I have been wondering this for a while, and have not yet come across a post quite like this. So, do we really need to have 2D panels in the NGX? My system is not "top of the line" by any means, but I get around with frames. Would it be possible to allow us to simply turn off the 3D panels, leaving just the VC? Personally, I think 2D panels are unrealistic, and that the VC will get you as close to the real thing as possible. The only 2D panel I would keep would be the FMC for easier entries. Hi Guys,Been doing some low approach and go arounds recently but I have come accross a problem. If I ever put the same departure and arrival airport in the FMC and press TOGA (this doesn't happen on takeoff) for a Go around I get a freeze and CTD. I have hotfix 3 installed. Any ideas? Kind Regards

I use REX weather and also FSX real time updates and yesterday I flew to Zurich. 85% of my flight landing included I had a cross wind of 79 knots......of course I crashed during landing. Is it this wind speed quite crazy and unreal ? Am I the only one to have such wind speed ? I am disappointed against REX or FSX.

I tried a lot to get the NGX HF4 stable on my system, but from time to time I got blue screens. What I finally found out on my system that the sound drivers were causing issues. Now before starting FSX I turn my system down unplug my speaker cable from the sound card (Speedlink Stage 7.1), unplug my speaker and micro cable from the onboard sound (dedicated to IVAO comms). Then I start the OS and plug all cables in. After that I start FSX. Every time i fly this machine i shake my head on how good it is. If some thing don't work you better not post here or make sure you have a valid complaint cause sure as heck it's some thing you did wrong. I sure hope every one who is involved in the making of it is making a good dollar and you deserve one heck of a good holiday.

Even if i can select transition.So my question is: When do I choose a transition? Hi there, When will the ivap crash problem with the NGX solved? Because it is a very annoying problem. IVAO don't have to solve this problem. This problem is by the NGX. And thanks for this great airplane.

Hi all, I have noticed that from time to time I do have some problems with the 737, either because I have forgotten someting or one of the hundreds of button is set in a wrong position. In such case I get a Master Caution warning. My question is, how do I detect the issue that causes the Master Caution to warn?? There is no message or notification system that shows me the problem (such as in the 747)....any advise?ThanksNic

I just did a cool 360 with this thing, flew upside down and recovered easily..... what kind of realism is this. Is such a thing even possible on the real NGX. All i got is a 'Bank angle' warning.

I recently bought a new PC and am slightly regretting the hassle of getting everything reinstalled. However, I have been forced to re-discover how I got FSX to give me my preferred view in the virtual cockpit. You get to see much more of the panel without losing anything useful from the window. From my very dim recall, it more closely resembles what you actually "see" - albeit of course with a different field of vision - when sitting in the cockpit. You might like it too. Find the "cameras.cfg" file (in the same folder as fsx.cfg). Go to the "Virtual Cockpit" section (usually under the heading "[CameraDefinition.002]"). Add this setting: "InitialPBH=16,0,0". Before I installed hotfix 3 I had no issues with autolands.Having installed it, I now can't make this work.I setup both FDs and nav radios and am using Fail Op mode.When I capture the localiser I switch to App mode and then select CMD B in addition to CMD A.I get the 'Single Channel' annunciation but no 'Land 3' or any arming of the rollout or flare. Finally at about 200' the autopilot disengages.Am I missing something?

Well i just put my money in it and i seem to get a very high temp when using it. Another FAQ. It seems like enbseries.ini keep coming up in the fsx dir. is this normal even if i have deleted this file before loading the Shade.exe. Another FAQ Can you run FSX.EXE WITHOUT the shade or ? /Michael

Hi, Just a short question this time, is there anyway to save the view point and zoom in the vc? It's getting a bit irritating to have to start everything up and lower the hgs to start adjusting the view, every time, especially when you are running late;-)

Dear all: I have been experiencing dots on the cockpit displays, usually as I am panning around, zoomed out (0.3), the virtual cockpit - see image attached. My computer specifics: CPU: i7 2600k @ 4.5 GHZGPU: GTX580 Tried 2 different drivers for my GPU, with no resolution. Curious if there is a solution out there. Thanks and regards.
