Hey guys, something I noticed on the F/O's side- See the attached photo. The knobs to control DU brightness appear to be mislabeled. The one labeled "outboard" with the inner/outer knobs controls the inboard ND, and the one labeled Inboard controls the brightness of the PFD. Take a look-

Hiya Guys,I'm just trying gauge some info or feedback on people's choice of flight control systems, especially with regards to a glass cockpit / multi monitor systems. Im basically trying to put together a plan for a new cockpit build but debating what to get...either the saitek x52 or a Flight yoke setup. I know the flight yoke is more realistic with regards to functionality and looks : so there it is.. Derick

hihave recently purchased the 737ngx. order #177007i run two computers and have been for some time without any problems.one is used for the internet and the other solely for FSX and associated programs.what i want to know is can this addon be activated from a seperated computer like is the activation with other software programs.the reason is in the past i have had no end of problems running both on the one computer..... too many bugs and a long frustrating process resetting up. eagerly waiting a reply Noel Ward

Hello guys,Currently I have the nVidia GTX320 1024 MB graphics card, which is not bad, but definately not the best out there. So I'm looking for a new one. Could someone recommend me a good graphics card around 200-300$ which is not causing freezes with the NGX. For example, which one is better, and ATI 6950 or GTX560ti? Is ATI recommended, or nVidia? Also what I'm worried about is the freezes. Currently I'm not having any freezes at all with the NGX since hotfix 1. I can remember RSR saying "FSX can't use more than 4 gigs of memory, so if you have just bought a 3 GB graphics card, you've set yourself up for disaster..." As a recent newbie to this aircraft I have been following the 'Tutorial #1' but cannot seem to arm VNAV mode prior to takeoff as instructed. I press the VNAV button on the MCP, but it does not illuminate green like the LNAV button does after pressing. Has anybody else experienced this? Can someone please help. Regards Darren.

My last flight I tried to reselect another approach from 200 miles out and the first time it deleted all the previous approach way points as it put in the new one but the second time it did not, leaving a mess of 2 approaches worth of way points in the legs page. As I tried to delete the approach way points I did not want in there I inadvertently deleted some from the approach I wanted to keep. So I then deleted everything (I had no more en route way points left to dest) and then re-instituted the desired approach. After this all my t/d and vnav stuff disappeared and the prog page showed my last way point I flew over as the beginning of my destination runway. So no wonder…

Hi everybody, Can you improve my knowledge regarding the TOGA, climp and ACC pitchmodes? in my FMC ,ACC and reduction heights is set by standard to the same 1500 feet AGL. Should this be 3000feet for the ACC height? there is also EO ACC Height. What is this ? Cutback on/off ? I know that some airports sid charts tells you something about Noise Abatement P but how do you term what and when an at what heights these procedures should normally be ? Paris and London could you help me with examples from these great and big airports ? Thanks Michael

They won't set! At least not consistently. I went to great trouble to set up a flight using the supplied Cold and Dark panel state, ensured no failures current (failures are turned off) went through Tom Risager's tut followed it to the letter saved a flight ready for takeoff on the runway with parking brakes set properly. Exit FSX come back the next day to resume my saved flight load it bingo the parking brakes don't set! It may be interference from my FS pedals but the 737 NGX is the only aircraft to give brake problems. I've read the numerous posts on brake issues and the various fixes suggested which I have followed but to no apparent effect. Any other suggestions…

Engines sounds are normal through flight. On landing I select reverse (F2) then deselect (F1). At this point I lose engine sound. All I get is ground rumble and environmental sound. Spooling up to full power there is no sound, just more rumble as speed changes. Engines are working and develop power. My spec:Core i5 @ 4.6ghz4mb ram120gb ssdGtx 460FSX sp2 accelRex2 overdriveEzdok

To bring more realism in my homecockpit, I want to build a tiller myself.Up to now I steered the NGX with my rudder pedals while taxiing.I want to buy a cheap USB steering wheel and use its axis as tiller axis for my plane.I tried to assign the tiller axis, but I have not found the axis in my FSX menu or the FSUIPC menu (registered version).Have you an idea where I can assign this axis ? Hi, hope the beacon lights and strobes will be a little bit better after the sp1, because in fact they're not really nice and realistic. The beacon lights normally on 737 NG aircrafts light up the engine cowls and the winglets ( reflection ). Hope they did it in the upcoming sp1 and the strobes could be a little bit brighter.Well, PMDG is my favourite addon creator!Best regards, Tom

Yesterday I bought the PMDG737NGX for FSX and I was not able to fly it, becauseafter a few seconds FSX closed.Try the following: Start your flight with another plane and change it to PMDG737NGX when standingat the gate...probably it will help you to fly till SP1 will be released ! I dont have any problems with any other airplane but this one. Same issue as before if you dig up my old post from a few days ago. Occasionally when landing with autobrakes on and on roll turn switch off the "brakes" come on with the red message and I cant get them off! Even though the switch is off! The when I engauge park brake and release brake comes off but now I have no brakes! This is getting rediculouse! Someone else has to be getting this one eh. Top cat allows me to put way more weight in the cargo compartments than the fms on the ngx(I am not using it to load, just generate a random load number to input in the fms). I can only put 9999 lbs in the rear and somewhere around 9000 in the front. I know way more weight can go in this aircraft down there right? Also, on VNAV descent I have 240/10000 for the restriction in des page and sometimes some waypoint restrictions for the approach way ahead of the point I get to decel altitude before 10000. Some of these waypoints have say 200/5000 etc. However when the aircraft gets to the 10000 decel it slows down past 240 KIAS even thought the purple speed bug is at 240. I am…
